Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

Took you guys a bit to realize it, but yes, Jesse was afraid Walt might have come to his house to kill him. He was aware of what Walter had done to Mike's guys in jail, and he considered that Heisenberg could be coming for him too.

5x9 will be Monday

Lyn Hurst

Hahahaha I cannot believe Spartan is right AGAIN hahaha :D

john

I removed my comment it wasn't meant to be posted as a reply to you.

Lyn Hurst

Spartan was right about the lawyer.

William Abbott

btw we had to wait about a year for the next episode when it came out season 5 was split into 2 parts

SuperDuprEgg

The epic episode train doesn't stop here!! All of the rest of the season are banger episodes 😍 End game now. I'm so excited to see your reactions.

Natalie-Anne

His ego made him keep that book. He loved how Gale flattered him, even though he's responsible for his death. I love that Gale indirectly gets revenge on Walt from beyond the grave.

Jackhammer

The name of the episode is also the name of one of Walt Whitman's poems: "GLIDING O'ER ALL, through all, Through Nature, Time, and Space, As a ship on the waters advancing, The voyage of the soul--not life alone, Death, many deaths I'll sing."

Jackhammer

A legendary character like Gus dies and somehow an already incredible show gets even better. Seems like it should've been impossible with Gus out of the picture but they proceed to make a 5th season that's near perfection and even better than the 4th.. These Breaking Bad writers ain't no joke, Vince Gilligan is the Michael Jordan of this TV shit.

Charlie Kelly

Early drop! Love ❤️. I gotta say, get ready for one of the greatest endings to one of the greatest series ever. Pudgey keep the tissues close! R.I.P Mike, however... Team Walt all day!

Adam Ramirez

When this is over I'm really going to miss hearing Pudgey say "Wall-Tharr"

KK

Yesss...Spartan is on a roll!!

David Cansler

karma comes in many shapes and sizes for Walter its Gale

HoneyBadger

I totally forgot this is the episode Hank finds out until he excused himself to go to the bathroom lol. That's been the fun of rewatching the show with you guys, not remembering exactly when the big stuff will happen. Can't wait for the next one!

Ailene Evangelista

Does this mean we get 5x9 tomorrow?😅

Daniel

Thanks, Spartan and Pudgey for the early release. It is getting so good. I loved your bantering after the episode ended. More to come.... Anything I say now might be spoilery so enjoy the remaining episodes. I was shocked at how Hank found out the first time I watched BB, especially since Walt so carelessly left that book out. As Hank said a couple of episodes back, even pros mess up sometimes. Walt stating he is out may be true but as we know things don't always go as he thinks they are supposed to :)

Lyn Hurst

"We? Who's we?" Is also very similar to what Jane said to Jesse after she cold shouldered him in front of her dad

Pogger White

no worries! hope you enjoy

CpaSpartan Pudgey

you dont sync up your own copy with the reaction? if you prefer the edited ones have audio included. we just remove it in uncuts due to fair use and copyright law

CpaSpartan Pudgey

that's horrendous, would have been painful

CpaSpartan Pudgey

god damn can't believe it that would have sucked

CpaSpartan Pudgey

that's unbearable

CpaSpartan Pudgey

when this episode aired we had to wait 11 months for the next one!

Alex

First thing I'll say, youre in the "Endgame" of Breaking Bad now. These last 8 episodes honestly feel like one cohesive ending to the story. That last shot of Hank's face was the last thing Breaking Bad related we got FOR A WHOLE YEAR watching it live. Pudgy saying Hank and Walt are getting closer and closer. If only she knew where the episode was going lol. Just to point out a few things, Walt saying "we? Who's we?" Is a reference to what Jane said to Jesse in Season 2. Him saying "learn to take yes for an answer" is something he got from Mike when they met up in the bar after Victor's death. The painting he sees is the same one he saw in his doctor's office e in Season 1 or 2. The lawyer was the first guy to get killed, Spartan is right.

Me on the toilet looking down at my phone: Gliding Over All released a day early. Looking up with the Hank realization face

James Woodford

Spartan and Pudgey are about to experience why I and so many others call this the greatest show ever. This is one of the few shows I will never get tired of seeing.

DRIP DROP

It was so brutal but super fun to theorize and it gave a ton of new viewers time to catch up. We had a viewing party at our house every episode of season 5 pt 2

James Woodford

The beginning of the end, so many callbacks this episode. Walt cuts his crust after Krazy 8, he folds the towel neatly after Gus, and now he's drinking on the rocks after Mike. "Learn to take yes for an answer" was also Mike's line. "We're going to make a lot of money together" was Tuco's line.

Munir

This episode has a lot of callbacks from the past while advancing the story a significant amount. It's titled Gliding Over All for a few reasons, the episode glides over a good amount of time- 3 months I think. Hank gliding over Walter being Heisenberg up until now and "gliding" is mentioned in the Walt Whitman poem. Hank's summer job of marking specific trees in a certain grid, crews coming later and finding the trees that were tagged and cutting them down is a simile for Walt using Jack's crew to take out those 10 guys in jail. I love Walt's realization in this episode of enough is enough. Walt looking at the mangled towel dispenser thinking how far he's come since 4 Days Out specifically, to bringing up the RV at Jesse's- reminiscing on the "good old days". You can see Walt still looks at him as a son. Jr playing peekaboo with Holly at Hank and Marie's is a callback to the Peekaboo episode. Holly even has orange on for the red head kid from the episode. There's a black beetle (another symbol of innocence) in Walt's backyard in that final scene, also a callback to the opening scene of Peekaboo. Holly is wearing pink in that scene, also symbolism for innocence from the teddy bear in season 2. The painting from the hospital in 0203 is in this episode but this particular one looks a lot more weathered. A clever way of saying even though Walt is out of the game, he's already departed, tainted and there's no going back to a "normal life" with his family. "Learn to take 'yes' for an answer" is what Mike told Walt in the past. Walt mimicked Gus and Mike after he killed them each.

Justin

People watching in real time had to wait a year after this episode

Jonny Staley

You guys are so lucky. Everyone who watched this when it first premiered, had to wait a whole year for episode 9😭

Erin

This made my day :D

Jenna

lol spartan has been killing pudgey in these BB reactions. you have lost the plot pudgey. for how nuanced you were in GOT, Spartan has been on point with his analysis, memory and everything else. anyways great reaction once again. yall aint gonna believe the next 8 episodes.

Leroy

It's bad since I can't hear the full reaction, but just seeing less than half the page, I know the show almost word for word ahaha. And between 2 full reactors all episodes, and I think I have watched it about 10 times myself. So let's go team WALT!.. and someone get pudgey tissues the rest of the way!! Lol can't wait to get off work tonight and watch these day early reaction!! .. stay strong spartan!!!

allen koch

oh my! THANK YOU!

Baba Jaga

Pudgey picked up on a great thing a few episodes ago about the ticking of the watch Jesse gave Walt, saying that it symbolizes his time being up. Even cooler, in that closing shot of the episode, the watch was placed on top of Gale’s journal, sort of emphasizing the idea that Gale will get his revenge from beyond the grave, and set in motion the chain of events that will lead to Walt’s downfall. Also, imagine having to wait a year to find out what happens next, cause that’s what most of us had to endure.

Alex I.

Early drop? Much appreciated 🙏🏻 You guys are treating us so well ☺️💪🏻

Petteri Ahlberg

The beginning of the end!

ThatGuy

Season 5 was split into two small seasons when it first aired on television. We had to wait almost an entire YEAR to find out what happens next!
