Did you read the text that goes with the polls? Not everyone votes in each of the polls, and the results from a head to head poll can be different than a spread out poll. It makes sense to do a head to head once you have the two frontrunners for a number of reasons. In fact, the number of people it would've taken to unseat Stranger Things on the last poll was a fairly small percentage of the total eligible voters that hadn't voted.

I think you are greatly overestimating how popular BCS reactions are post-airing. Every time people said they would suffer a huge loss in subscribers their subscribers actually went up a sizeable amount. "They didn't offer it because they knew BCS would win " Its not a great look to pass off assumptions as incontrovertible fact. This is not the case. "at simply doesn't exist by simply continuing with BCS" This is another assumption. These things have a lot of variables per person and its not this linear in reality. There are plenty of people that love the BB reactions but don't want to watch another 7 more months of BB related reactions, or don't like BCS as much, or don't enjoy BCS reactions etc. I have watched every single BB reaction uncut from them, but I'd only be watching a handful of their BCS reactions, for example. Just like there's lots of people that would stay for BCS but will leave when Stranger Things, and some people that will join for ST but would leave for BCS.

I definitely don't think its a very good fit for them for a number of reasons but I am willing to be proven wrong. I also admit I am biased as I find the show to be rather mediocre and overhyped overall, personally, but to each their own.

I'll rewatch Season 1 of Stranger Things with you guys but after that I will probably drop off. I don't find the show to have much re-watchability and personally find it very overhyped as far as its average quality, personally. I feel like its probably an odd fit for you two as well but I may be proven wrong. I hope you guys enjoy it though.

@Apotheosis correct at the current pacing of 2 per week it would take them like 2 years, and Lost isn't as popular of a reaction series at is used to be, so theres a lot of variables to account for. You can watch 2-4 popular high-viewership shows in that same span of time so it depends on a lot of things.

I naturally catch all their BB reactions. For everyone asking about the data, I simply took a cursory look at the likes and views for BB versus death note and other stuff. It is clear BB is their main show and they know they even if some of the posters here don’t. Anyway, it is all decided now and I wish them the best and look forward to HOTD.

I was in middle school in the early 1980s, so Stranger Things really takes me back to my childhood. I voted for ST, and I think Spartan and Pudgey will find it fun, but I'm not sure if they'll love it or get a lot of the references (prairie blouses and Lando Calrissian ftw!). I think a good indicator is if a person likes Stephen King books (IT, Different Seasons) and Spielberg directed/created/produced films from that era (ET, Goonies, Jaws-1975) then they'll most likely enjoy ST.

I think the narrative at the time was that the surface-level ending was bad, but without that social context, and potentially looking up Abrams'/source material explanations, it is actually a profound ending which ties in a lot of long running mysteries. You can't really have such a mystery show without an ending that requires extra thinking

Even tho Stranger Things or Peaky Blinders are not my top picks, I'm still gonna enjoy the reactions of whichever wins. While the content they watch is important to a degree, the main reason I watch these reactions is for Spartan & Pudgy. Even if your not the biggest ST fan or PB fan, you can be sure that S & P will make for fun and engaging reactions / entertainment. Plus they have said over and over they will eventually get to everything on the list. =)

There's no way to please everyone if you're a reaction channel. I've accepted that a while ago, they will react to shows I'd rather they not, but it's unfair to place any blame on Pudgey / Spartan for that. Just how it rolls.

I am one of the few people that voted for Better Call Saul because I actually believe it is one of the best series of all time. But if the result is gonna be Stranger Things, I might still stick around to rewatch season 1 and actually get through the other seasons this time as well. Unfortunately it is also true that Stranger Things has a much bigger audience than BCS. So S&P are gonna be fine imo.

Now, peaky blinders is good but very niche. Eventually the views will go down on those reactions. However stranger things 4 is the best season so the views will continue to climb as they watch. I appreciate the response. The only thing I will say to that is that doing BCS after BB was an easy win. BB is popular and your main show. The other content is more of an add-on that most of your audience does not consume based on the stats displayed here. You do the prequel-sequel to your main show and keep the same audience and possibly even gain more. Ripping that out and doing a whole other show is an unnecessary risk to the business model. It may work out or it may result in substantial subscriber losses which is a risk that simply doesn't exist by simply continuing with BCS and then naturally continuing with HOTD.

we appreciate your concern but we doubt that to be the case. we host these polls to have a community driven decision. in past this hasn't been the case so we should be fine. naturally there may be a rotation of some people who dont care for the new show and others from youtube who are excited for it and weren't for BB, but this is an inevitable part of the nature of changing series.

I'll just say that the decision to not do BCS after BB is incredibly indulgent and will lead to a big drop in subscribers once BB is finished (possibly as much as 20-40%). 10% would be the bare minimum estimate. I'm only noting this because they said they're doing this full-time now and have quit their jobs. Will losing 40% of the subscribers cause them to have to do this part-time again? Anyway, it was enjoyable while it lasted!
