Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Their schedule for this week was from the 8th-14th would be a modified schedule. I am assuming there will be an episode on the 15th AEDT or 14th US.

Shouldn't episode 5-5 have been posted by now?

GYG359

The next episode is indeed one of the most interesting and exciting of the whole series.

I really enjoyed this episode but it did get dark at the end. The ticking of the watch like a timer at the end was pretty much times up for Walt. The pool scene was good with Walt acting happy and almost giddy telling his story about how Skyler helped him through the first week of chemo. Skyler was dead eyed and completely not caring about Walts spiel as she descends into the abyss. It seemed she had really lost it, except it was all to protect the children from Walt and herself with what is now a potential for more violence since he is back at the meth cooking. Strange Walt thinks since he is part owner in the business that they are now safe. The Heisenberg hat is his false sense of security and gives him a feeling like nothing can touch him. I really hated how dark the argument was with Skyler as they both threatened to do awful things to each other. Bryan Cranston's and Anna Gunn's acting was great. He does the Jekyll and Hyde thing so well. How she managed to show no emotion for the majority of the show was impressive. The next episode is mind blowing. The scenes with Lydia always make me laugh because she is so intense.

i think the ticking of the watch at the end is also a reference to mike saying that Walt is a time bomb.

gay ian

get ready for one of the most intense and greatest episodes in the breaking bad universe up next

HoneyBadger

Hope you guys had a good holiday! This is only my second time watching this show and I forgot a lot of the details. This episode was dark af.

Gemineye

I'm pretty sure Saul gave her details. She still feels responsible for what happened.

Jaroslav Dočekal

It always annoyed me that Ted made it seem like Sauls people beat him up when in reality he just slipped on a carpet on accident. Makes Skylar feel way more guilty. Also I like how she admits that she can’t do that much against Walt but gives her all for the kids to stay away even if it is just for minutes

Dude i'm scrolling through comments on here and im so high that I read this whole comment like 3 times and each time i ended up more confused by it and laughing more and more at it. I'm sure it's a great piece of trivia, I just can't follow any of it at the moment. Thank you

Walt says that Marie and Hank are watching Ratatouille. Somewhat humorously, the film is based on the irony of a rat becoming a chef. This, along with the character Gusteau's famous motto in the film "Anyone can cook!" could be seen as poking fun at Walt's uncharacteristic decision to cook meth in "Pilot". Also there's the Gusteau, Gus element to the reference.

Jackhammer

Yeah he is an attractive specimen. They both are. It makes for an even more enjoyable viewing experience 😂

This show is definitely using “water” as some kind of metaphor or whatever. It’s starts with the busted water heater and the rusty dirty water. All the stuff that happens in and around the pool. And there are a few more things you’ll see in future episodes. I can’t quite figure it out…but I just have a feeling it all means something. Water “cleanses”? Who knows? Maybe I’m reaching…

Tim Martin

its incredible the line that the heisenberg hat rides between goofy and absolutely badass

This is the last episode IMDB ratings have below a 9.0/10 (with an 8.8) for the rest of the show. Buckle up!🔥🔥🔥

Really love this depth of analysis!! Definitely given us some things to think about

It may be a bit of a reach but as Skyler is staring off into the pool, Walt is talking about the first week of his chemotherapy and lying down on the cool tile floor in the bathroom while Skyler comforts him could be a reference to Ted's bathroom and the contrast of how Skyler liked his heated floors at first but then after the talk with Marie on the phone and after looking at the bag of money again etc. Without realizing it prior... it gets her rethinking why he did what he did and so she then puts the towel down on Ted's floor to stand on instead. That was before Walt killed Fring... and in just two scenes after the pool scene Walt tells Skyler: "I can promise you Gus Fring is dead. He was the threat, he was the danger". Skyler brings up Beneke in that scene too- while having no means of an out, an escape to come up with a better plan than Walt's for getting the kids to leave their environment. She's feeling the regret about the choices she's made. She feels engulfed. I think the blue pool symbolizes Walt's product (the pool being cool in temperature) and how Skyler is drowning in it. (there's a lot of emphasis on pools in later episodes) She's probably thinking about all the decisions she's made that's led up to this point- the back-and-forths with Walt, she wants an escape but is instead consumed by it- almost to say she'd rather die more or less than go on with this any longer. To make it worse she doesn't know Hank & Marie know about the "affair"
