Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

They expressed remorse several times, both of them. Pudgey was on the verge of tears about it. Spartan said it was fucked up. What more do you want? 😂

imperial

I am a bit surprised by their reaction. I thought they were gonna be horrified that they killed a pretty much innocent guy to save their own criminal ass

Rey Jr

Pissed myself when Spartan was like “guy listens to shit music”

Sean van Hengel

Yeah

Lyn Hurst

Funny Vince and others who were casting thought Aaron Paul was too good looking to play the part.

Lyn Hurst

Lol watching in real time and having to wait for the next season after this episode was painful.

Clinton Brown

Walt has saved Jesse numerous times in the series including the pilot. Jesse should be dead

Justin

So wait a minute. How do you think Jesse is the reason they are in this?? Walt is the one who wanted to expand his territory and that's the reason Combo was shot. How is that Jesse's fault? Of course Jesse was gonna be pissed when he found out Combos killers also killed a little kid. All of Walts decision continue to have consequences no matter how late into the show you are. Im not saying Jesse's emotions dont get the best of him but this is all a Byproduct.

Tae Kellz

When Walt looks at Mike at the end and says "Yeah", it's the most badass delivery of a single word I've ever heard. Bryan Cranston is something else...

Paul

Guys please don’t listen to your community, Walt definitely does care about Jesse, he had literally nothing to gain by saving Jesse’s life but your community always puts expectations in your head before u finish stuff.

JonSnow21

Season 3 was where this show truly became immortal. Episode 1 - 6 amazing. Episode 7 masterpiece. Episode 8-10 great. Episode 11 amazing. Episode 12+13 masterpieces.

DrückebergerTV

I know lol, same with GOT, like the show 100% is showing/telling you a character is dead and has been killed, but just because of was off camera (like Ned's death) Spartan thinks the sword missed or something like that, but other times understands a character and the story very well. I supposed this kind of thinking can be attributed to a lot of shows doing cheap ridiculous thing like this where a situation realistically the character will die, there's no way out of it, and the show does the silliest, most unrealistic thing to explain how the character survived and didn't die next episode. Breaking Bad isn't like this - he shot Gale. The show couldn't be clearer other than straight up showing you. That scene was meant to be clear, Jesse shot and killed Gale also just realised Spartan saw the picture with Gale in it for S4E1 next episode thing at bottom, so that may have influenced why he thought he was alive, though he'd spoiled it by seeing that and assumed he was alive haha

Hugh S

No it definitely wasn't an act.. the guy isn't an emotionless robot some shows write characters as. that was an emotional build up of being back into a corner; true desperation, of having no choice but to make a severe and extremely emotional decision either way. There's also a sense of egotistical anger from Walt after he reveals his plan with Gale and how Walt turned the tables on them, dominance/pridefulness Mike drops his guard because hes dealt with this many times, begging and pleading and the emotions when someones knows they are going to be killed, because he knew Walt knew he was going to be killed then and there. Walt's emotions were from the decision he was back into a corner to make, regarding having Gale killed/having to kill Gale. Mike obviously didn't know about this so he understood Walt's behavior as Walt understanding he was there to be killed, no way out of it. Because regardless the emotions would be and are the same for all intents and purposes of how Mike interpreted it.

Hugh S

Spartan has to be one of the weirdest reactors out there. On one hand he' soo good at seeing the perspective of different characters and understanding the deeper meaning of certain scenes. On the other hand, he thinks that Jesse shot somewhere else because the camera moved a little. On a slightly different note, seasons 4 and 5 are goated, a level above the other 3 in my opinion.

Alex I.

This is where it starts getting insanely good each ep is a solid 9 out of 10 imo from here on out 😍

Natalie-Anne

Totally agree. I'm loving these reactions. Can't wait to see the final two seasons.

John Neiberger

Man, Aaron Paul's acting in this episode is so damn good.

John Neiberger

I disagree with the take that Walt is genuinely scared at the end when Mike is about to kill him. I always interpreted Walt's vulnerability as an act in order to lure Mike into a false sense so he buys the idea that Walt is going to give up Jesse. Walt's emotion in that scene causes Mike to drop his guard when Walt makes the call to Jesse. You can see when Victor is walking Walt up to the basement entrance, that the camera focuses on Walt's face and you can feel that his mind is already ticking over and coming up with the whole plan.

Hari Randhawa

Aaron Paul is a legend. His expression, the way his eyes well up...just total physical mastery as an actor. Doesn't speak a word of dialogue yet we know precisely what he's thinking and feeling in that terrible moment. And to think, Jesse was only meant to be a short term character! It seems the easier it gets for Walter to shed his humanity, the harder it becomes for Jesse.

Robin Lee Melendez

Whether they do it off screen or on screen you guys are always questioning deaths. 😂 Gayle is dead. It wasn't supposed to be something tricky.

Marcell

People are paying for that other content lol

SuddenImpulse

Here we go! One of the best episodes of the show.

John Neiberger

lets go final two seasons are goated just pause all other content and pump this show out

Alex

the acting in the last scene is phenomenal. david's (gale) reaction to second he knew he was a dead man is heartbreaking

Dean A

The thing I remember the most, waiting over a flippn' year from '10 to '11 to find out what happened.. y'all only had to wait a week!! So not fair, and I'm very upset about this!! 😉.. Spartan "He listens to shit music" 😄.. I don't know, looked to me like you kind of enjoyed Gale's music a little.. smiling and almost started vibing.. Pudgey definitely liked it, everytime I hear it always gets me moving in a silly looking way!! 😁 thanks for the video guys!!

PastaDon

When you say he moved the gun to the right, it was actually just one of those cool camera angle things Breaking Bad does. They basically "spun" you into Gayle's perspective, then Jessie took the shot

RP10

I completely agree Pudgey - that jacket collar flick was such a nice touch. There’s just something so badass about him flicking his jacket and delivering a cold line like “You might wanna hold off”.

imperial

The intro of the episode, ah... I didn't quite get it at the time on the first watch but now it is really on point for me. Walt and his wish to live bigger - and have three kids. He didn't get those things through being Walt but Heisenberg.

S.

Great reaction video, I'm glad you two are liking the show as much as you are and seem to be really invested in it. Keep up the good work!

Charlie Kelly

As far as Walt caring about Jesse, I think he does to an extent. Also, I think Walt enjoys being the fatherly teacher type. So having someone younger than him and less experienced has been good as far as Walt is concerned. A peer on the same level as Walt as far as age and chemistry knowledge go would not work for Walt. There cannot be two Heisenbergs. I think Walt stood up to Gus in the desert and Mike at the lab because it was his last ditch effort and had to be an expert play. Full Measure

Lyn Hurst

Great reaction as always. Imagine watching this when it first aired and having to wait to see what happened with that cliffhanger. This show never ceases to blow me away. The cinematography is awesome and everything synchronizing is brilliant. Fantastic acting as always. I love getting to pay attention to the small details now that this is my 4th watch. Yes, you do want to see what's next.

Lyn Hurst

You'd be surprised how many reactors think that 💀

Justin

You thought he moved his gun?? Whaaat?? Are you guys serious? I have NEVER seen anyone misinterpret that scene like that. You're not sure if he's dead?? Oh wow this was a disappointment. Edit: I was pissed when i wrote this, still love your reactions tho 😂

Milorad

The camera just centered, he didn't move the gun

Rich Plumb

What an absolutely unbelievable show this is. Rewatching it with you guys, the writing, cinematography, everything is perfect.

Nathan Cutter

Bryan goes from a lighthearted–optimistic Hal in that opening scene to a: "Your boss is gonna need me" Heisenberg by the end of the episode 🔥
