Breaking Bad 3x10 Reaction & Review

I can’t find the comment now, but people have been saying you should watch better call Saul… I’m not sure you’ll like it as much- at least not for a reaction show. Some that you might not have considered, but are very good and might make for good reactions. Also, I haven’t seen these done by a lot of other reactors: -Godless (1 season, western, gritty) -Shadow and Bone (based on a books series, adventure fantasy, exciting) -Raised by Wolves (sci-fi, on-going, unusual) -Outlander (epic historical drama with a touch of magic and a lot of realistic romance, amazing acting) -Yellowstone (drama, intense, compelling like Breaking Bad) Also, you might check out the shows on Apple+ , not a lot of people seem to be reacting to them, but they have several really well done shows. Their selection is smaller, but very high quality. Like SILO!

The only episode of BB that can be considered a “filler” (budgeting concerns), yet most people don’t even realize it is one because the dialogue and metaphor for the fly is so great. One of the best filler episodes in TV history IMO.

Yup. You got it. This episode was all about Walt's tension, anxiety, paranoia, guilt and regret getting projected onto the small annoyance of the fly. Walt was feeling helpless and trying to exert control over one small thing. An episode where nothing much happens, but interior layers of our characters are revealed.

Wow I had no idea some considers this is the best episode. I can hear the arguments about introspection, and dialogues and metaphors, but I still don't like it that much. When this reaction came out I was excited, then I realised it was this episode and that was a big let down ^^

Despite being a divisive episode I enjoyed it as well! I know it really slows things down but you can’t go wrong with letting Walt and Jesse bounce off one another for an episode. They are amazing characters and actors so it’s always entertaining seeing their shenanigans. Plus we get a bit of slapstick and humor to offer us some levity in this mostly dark and serious show. And like you two said, there’s a lot more too this episode when you really pick apart the dialogue and what things represent. Some people don’t like that aspect of shows though and didn’t feel engaged by it. Even though it was an episode they had to make due to constraints, they managed to execute it pretty well in my opinion. The end of this season and everything beyond it is just top tier. I know everyone has already said it but the show really does get better and better Also glad you guys have picked up on the unique camera angles. For some casual viewers they don’t really pick up on the cinematography of the show but there are a lot of really great shots in this show and especially in Better Call Saul. This episode does a good job of keeping you nervous about whether or not Walt will spill the beans on Jane. I could feel your stress through the screen 😂

A lot of fans consider this to be one of the best episodes of the series because of the introspective look on the main characters, especially Walt. Both sides’ opinions on the episode are valid. Directed by Rian Johnson

Queen Alicent's Feet

I don't mind the dialogue in episode but the fly thing was just really annoying, im sure they could of just locked themselves in the room somehow instead

Peter Fowler

Called a bottle episode in the industry.

This episode came about due to a lack of funds. When they were filming, planning and writing season 3 episodes, the producers realized that their budget was getting stretched a little too thin. This episode saved them money because it took place in primarily one location and a limited amount of staff, actors and other resources were needed. This is a very divisive episode. Some fans love it, others put it at the bottom. I'm on the fence with it, even after multiple viewings.
