Imma just say it. For all the shit he takes for not following things well, Spartan understands Walt and the characters 100x more than Pudgy. Pudgy falls for all Walts muniplitive shit lol. Also Walt doesn't want to tell Gus the truth because he doesn't know Gus knows his brother inlaw i in the DEA

This episode is titled "I See You" and much of the drama is focused on what's happening in the hospital's ICU (Intensive Care Unit). The more obvious meaning of "I see you" is when the injured baddie recognized Walter's face.

2023-10-26 03:24:28 +0000 UTCThere's a tonal quality to this show I can't fully explain. On one hand, like you guys said, it's a very detailed script with incredible acting. On the other hand, these characters are all cartoons. Walt, Jesse, Hank, Saul, Gus, Mike, not to mention smaller characters like Tuco and Badger. All of these characters are larger than life, almost archetypes, yet the writers fill them with so much nuance and individual motivations that it feels very grounded and realistic. It's magic.
