Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

I think because Walt sees Gale is a threat. He knows Guss doesn't want to work with Jesse, he just used him to get to Walt. But if Gale knows the recipe Guss no longer needs Walt or Jesse.

Joseph Collier

Highly recommend watching Better Call Saul after Breaking Bad as the main show. It's better than the original. If you're liking BB, you're going to love BCS!

Aditya

maybe a plot hole, but not sure why gale, walt, and jesse couldn't work as a trio

Dean A

Gus fring is one of the most compelling tv villains

Super Novice

Gus’s small smile when he hears the gun shots over the phone, then just breaking his phone and going on his merry way?! He’s a savage, it’s so fun to watch tbh.

Ailene Evangelista

Bro pls stop , I really don’t want a 6 season prequel to take up over a year, I’d rather Peaky blinders or literally any new show and I genuinely hope they don’t decide to do a poll again like the lotr prequels which are literally terrible that people were genuinely stupid enough to vote for .( not comparing BCS to lotr prequels) but they better put all the other shows against it other than just putting yes or no .

JonSnow21

The guy was shot in his home talking to Gus was one of the bosses. Not the Don though.

Demented Avenger

OK so, what Gus just did was a master chess move. He had no hand directly in Juan Bolsa getting killed. He just knew if a DEA agent was shot at by cartel members on the American side of the border, it would likely bring heat down on the cartel and Juan Bolsa in particular from the Mexican federales because of political pressure from America... and it did. Gus' motivation behind doing this (aside from saving Walt's ass) will be fully explained to you in the next episode. But let me clear up the part about Juan Bolsa's place in the cartel that Spartan is a little confused about.___ Somebody already stated it in the comments, he's a capo. Meaning he's sort of "an underboss" in the cartel but he's not "THE BOSS" of the cartel. You haven't seen that man. The cartels operate the same as the Italian mafia, it's a paramilitary structure. You have Soldiers (Tuco's Cousins) above them are Capos (Juan Bolsa) and then there is a singular boss in charge of all of them. You haven't met the boss of this cartel yet.

Charlie Kelly

Also, Tio said, "how much time do you think he has? one minute?" when he was drowning Marco

Demented Avenger

I think its easy to forget that we, as viewers, have a way different picture of Hank than the guy who was almost beaten to death by him would have. If you remember Jesse's "here's what happens now" speech, wouldnt expect him to react any way other than how he did upon seeing Hanks condition. Plus I think its fairly obvious that Walt convinced him to drop the charges against him for the new partnership, which he surely didnt want to do. So yeah...Hanks knocking on deaths door? Pretty sure thats A-OK with Jesse.

Mantis

it makes me realize that i take for granted how much like mexican/hispanic (correct me if i’m using the incorrect term) culture/language, politics, etc knowledge i have because i live in america tbh

kallista

Walt may be half the man hank is but twice the brains 🧠.

TheRoguePrince19

I'm not sure what's your point. Didn't they figure out that already? Pudgey said that.

Milorad

Pretty sure you already knew this but there is a prequel to Breaking Bad called Better Call Saul which some people would argue is even better than Breaking Bad so there you have your next series after you have finished Breaking Bad :)

Yannik

Yes Don Eladio.

Lyn Hurst

The cartel thing is kind of confusing at first. You can see it as a hierarchy of which there's a big boss that doesn't really get involved (and we didn't see on screen). then there many fractions who work for him, one of them is Bolsa (the man who was killed at the end of this episode by the feds). Bolsa had Gus and the Salamancas (the old man in wheelchair, Tuco, cousins,..) working under him. This is kind of a coup d'état from Gus on his immediate superior and on his true rivals which are the Salamancas since they work for the same guy and always compete for "employee of the month". That's an understandable explanation.

HDN

From the phone calls this episode. Gus asks bolsa about the next shipments being delayed because of how hot things got with the USA gov and the Mexican gov because of the hank situation. Bolsa mentioning the "others" as well as asking Gus if he really thinks he can go on their own. You can tell that no, bolsa is not the big bad cartel head, he only serves as a middle man between gus and the rest of the cartel. Gus controls distribution north of the border but still with product from the South, from the cartel. That is the main reason the rest of the cartel would not suspect gus from orchestrating this, because gus depends on their product (or so they think).

Pablo

Spartan & Pudgey 50 yrs from now.. 🤣 youtube.com/shorts/hcuVK1Do1Wk Sorry everybody always comments about the show.. hope it's ok to post this in this forum to keep things light.. and obviously we know which one is which in this video 🤣

PastaDon

I cant really blame Jesse for being happy about Hanks condition. If my face looked like Jesses I'd consider what happened with Hank Karma. I also don't blame Hank for beating Jesse because Hank thought it was Jesse who was responsible for that call about Marie. Of course Jesse had nothing to do with it really which is why Jesse is so pissed at Hank

Kyle Thompson

I love the Heisen-Pudgy/Spartan-berg duo!

Doc Holliday

The "One Minute" title also refers to what Hector says when he has the kid's head under water: "How much longer do you think he has down there? One minute? Maybe more? Maybe less?" Also, you don't seem to have got that Gale didn't mess up the temperature. Walt gave him the wrong temperature to set him up for failure. #GaleWasRobbed #JusticeforGale

Kate

Yea you kind of have to understand a little bit about US/Mexico politics to fully get what is going on here and the deal with the cartels.

Nick Wright

People outside of America really have no clue what the cartel is.

Shawn Brink

The reason Walter lied to Gus was because he never wanted Gus to know that he had a brother in law in the DEA, but of course Gus already knows this from when he saw the charity box

Cal

Juan Bolsa( died in the end ) was not a boss. He was a capo ( high member of cartel ), but Don ( leader ) is another man.

Jackhammer

Wow, that episode was fire. All of those things coming together on one night was perfection. Don't mess with Gus.

Lyn Hurst

The reason Walt lies to Gus is because he isn't aware the Gus already knows Hank is his brother in law. He doesn't know what the ramifications of him knowing would be, if he would be upset or not. Also there is a double meaning for the title, "I see you" sounds like ICU which is short for Intensive Care Unit which is where Hank is

Pogger White

Maybe someone already told you, but if not, last episode, One Minute, was Season 3, Episode 7. The time on the clock in Hank's car, when he gets the anonymous phone call, is 3:07. When the clock changes to 3:08 is when shit goes down. That's the 'one minute' - from 3:07 - 3:08.

Mama Browsss

forgot to mention before but the barrels in gus's lab are another representation of the character transformation so far. the methylamine barrels have the hexadecimal code for the color green on them in yellow print. yellow throughout the series represents the drug game like jesse's clothes, jane's sheets, etc. while green was Walt's original shade in season 1. vince gilligan is built different.

Jared

Leeeetsssss goooooooooo

Isaac_

Gus displays his sheer savagery in this one
