Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
- Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
- Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
- Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
- HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
- Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

2023-10-12 22:25:57 +0000 UTCI really feel for you pudgey ❤️. I usually dislike sharing about this part of myself, but i can relate to this part of korra like you did. Like spartan said, almost as if we're rewatching a template of our own story haha. Having your physical and mental state be so connected in a negative way, feeling like no one understands, watching everyone around you move on and you feeling like youre watching your life pass you by, feeling directionless, wondering if its ever going to feel normal again. its very disheartening to feel like youre stuck in a reality that is so far from who you want to be. But it’s always important to remember that just as the good things might not always last, the bad stuff wont always last either! There is always another side, even if it feels like youre never going to see it! :) I know I dont personally know you pudgey, but from one gal to another, i hope youre in that stage where the pieces are falling into place again!! 🫶🏼

2023-10-12 18:29:02 +0000 UTCi don't agree with spartan on her fear and trauma is from korra losing control - when aang went into the avatar state, it's like he wasn't there, where as korra seems to be fully conscious of what she's doing the entire time. i think she lays out her trauma to katara - she was poisoned by a group of insane people, who physically crippled her for 6 months, while her friends and kuvira are saving the world for her. imagine going from having all the strength and capability in the world and playing a massive role in the state of society, to not being able to walk and the world moving on and sorting itself without you? I think she's traumatized by the event, the physical repercussions, the emphasis on the world going on without her, and i think the fear of herself she faces is stepping back into that role and putting herself at risk again - i don't think she's afraid of the avatar state, but afraid of being the avatar ... at least that's how i took it from her fighting herself the whole ep but top 5 episode of this show so far for sure - probably top 3. really beautifully capturing trauma and frustration and growth within 25 minutes.

2023-10-12 11:40:30 +0000 UTCPeople forget that heroes get traumatized by their heroics. This is especially true in “children’s programming.” The hero is supposed to bounce back with a smile. The hero isn’t supposed to get PTSD. Korra wasn’t just haunted by herself being out of control. She almost died, and she almost died in the Avatar state. The Avatar state is vulnerability. There’s more than her life at risk. She’s haunted by how close she came to both dying and completely screwing the world for good. I think the show up to this point has done a pretty good job of showing that Korra’s bravery is more bravado and she really has fragile mental health, which has now collapsed.

2023-10-12 04:34:54 +0000 UTCmy favorite part of this episode was probably the fact that it just felt like something straight from the writers, raw and unimpeded by Nick's influence. I mean no random jokes to keep the Spongebob audience engaged, no unecesary action sequences to keep the casual fanbase watching, just a story being told how the writers wanted it. And the story we get is dark, sometimes slower paced, and a bit confusing- and I loved every second of it.
