Lol chill on them, I was biased towards Walt my first time watching too. I wasn’t used to following a protagonist lie Walt and I was super biased, they will figure it out. It can both be true that Walt‘s motivation is his family and he also does put his family in danger.

You guys always side with Walter when Walter is the evil one here. He is not selfless in any way. He is leading a double life that puts his entire family in danger every single day. Prison, murder by cartel, public shame, etc. if he gets caught his entire family’s life is done. No more privacy. They become the family of a king drug dealer forever. He could’ve gotten 3 jobs to support his family like a normal person. He could’ve taken the money from that couple in season 1. The only thing Walter cares about is power. He wants to do it his way. He is an amazing tv character and a horrible person. He is never right.

From Skyler's point of view, her whole life has been upended by decisions that Walt made without even consulting her--she never asked to be married to a meth cook. So she set boundaries by kicking Walt out of the house and he ignored those boundaries too. So now she's taking control in a way that Walt can't ignore by having sex with Ted. I'm not saying she's 100% right but I totally understand her point of view.
