Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

If she was innocent then she wouldn't have taken the drugs.

I'm a dude, but i just gotta say, Nice Nails Pudgy! They caught my attention :p. Great reaction to the both of you.

I agree with you, but I also think it's partly due to our tendency to categorize things and put them in a hierarchical order. In the show we see a lot of morally ambiguous or even downright malicious characters who we consider to be doing worse things than Jesse, and thus in this context it's easier to overlook smaller misdemeanors as being not so reprehensible. In a different context with more morally righteous characters to compare, a character like Jesse could be seen in a much worse light through his criminal and at times even manipulative behavior (like seen with the first scene of this episode). It also helps that he is genuinely funny and charismatic and showcases true caring at times, which makes him that much more sympathetic character to root for.

TT

It is interesting how many viewers easily forgive or overlook Jessie's misdemeanors even when he is directly responsible for them. We always see Jessie through the victim lens but despite supposedly coming clean and moving forward in his life, here he is wanting to enter back into the drug game of his own volition. He is also willing to directly deal drugs to an innocent to get his way.

Well I disagree about jesse being on walter’s level though he’s really good at replicating walt’s formula, he still doesn’t understand chemistry at all , not saying he isn’t skilled because not everyone can copy it and do that good but yea .

JonSnow21

Yeah Pudgey for sure was right this time, and she knew it lol

lemmy

I'm really excited for future reactions. Love watching with y'all :)

Until this episode i think spartan had nailed most of the male character motivations at various points in this show. But in that conversation about hank turning down el paso i think pudgey was 100% right. Hank is very much afraid to his core. In fact he is so afraid that it almost doesnt even compute for him, he might not even know how afraid he is since he is always coming up with excuses to run away from his fears. That is the only reason he is catching up, finding out about the rv and stuff, no cop would be chasing such weak leads. He is good at his job dont get me wrong but at this point he is definetly using it to cope with his ptsd and his fears.

Pablo

I think it is pretty obvious in the moment that Hank doesn't want to accept the new job because he's scared. He had PTSD from seeing his coworkers get their limbs blown off and nevermind the fact that it was his own struggle to see the informant's head on that tortoise which saved him from getting blown up himself. The actor playing Hank does a great job showing his own fear, I'm not sure how it can be interpreted any other way. Hank doesn't want to admit he's scared or was shocked by what he saw and that is shown on multiple occassions in different episodes. Long story short, Pudgey is right.

Jesse

Jane's dad killed himself and Walt feels responsible for the Wayfarer 515 crash. Although he never admits it, Walt is extremely guilt ridden over his involvement in the crash

Pogger White

Also I'm pretty sure Jane's dad did more than just attempt suicide...

Munir

Hank was visibly very shaken with the explosion (and Tuco) - he even had PTSD panic attacks after. He was definitely afraid of going back, but he's too 'macho' to admit it. Gomie and his boss weren't buying it in their conversations though.

Munir

I always wonder how much further they are than patreon in real life. They must be a couple episodes ahead because patreon explained it pretty well the butterfly effect when ep 2x13 came out

Rey Jr

S&P. I think you guys are missing the point of where with Janes dad Walter feels like he basically is the reason for the flights crashing and everything else that has went along with it because he could’ve saved Jane but didn’t. Not sure if you guys have noticed that or not, but I think it’s a fascinating dynamic into why Walter is the way he is now.

So Patreon refreshed the look of the website, but still didn't add dark mode? How excellent of them.
