Gotta say, after how regularly he got things wrong on GoT, Spartan is hitting jackpot after jackpot with his motivation guesswork - good work!

Guys, love your stuff. Loved this episode. And we know you’re doing this one for us. 👍👍 Ask a few millennials about “Heroes” of you haven’t seen it. It’ll suit you both down to the ground.

Ok I am calling a flag on the play with the narrative the newscasters were talking about Jane's father causing the crash. First of all there would be an investigation, second, they probably would not have said his name or posted his picture, third they definitely would not have reported about his daughter's drug overdose .... that is the most egregious thing. Walt claiming Jesse isn't at fault with Jane is true, but Walt has a way of confusing people with details and trying to throw out a lot of terminology to deflect the issue. He usually confuses people so much (the ones he can trick) they forget what they were upset about and start to buy his theories/lies/whatever.... The cartel leaves no one alive - including innocent bystanders. They don't want to be identified. They kill anyone in their path.

Walt is trying to minimize the plane crash because he feels guilty, since he indirectly got all those people killed. If Walt saves Jane, those planes never crash. Period.

Albuquerque is in New Mexico not Texas.

PB&J slander will not be tolerated!

In the commentary track for this episode the writers say Skylar didn't actually know he was a drug dealer, but had a hunch that was confirmed by Walter's response to her saying it.

The rehab counselor is Jere Burns... He's in another show that Spartan and Pudgy might want to put on their watch list: Justified.

I want to continue to point out the performance of all actors. It might seem like it would be easy to be in a show and not have any dialog ie the two guys in the suits. They make you feel a certain way about them without saying a word. Also the actor who portrayed the "expert" at the rehab lodge. What a memorable scene talking about the death of his daughter. Heartbreaking.

The crawling on the way to the shrine of Santa Muerte is meant as a kind of personal sacrifice to show humility and earn the favour of the saint so she will grant your prayers.

Albuquerque is not in Texas, it's in New Mexico :)

The opening scene was a shrine to Santa Muerte (Our Lady of Holy Death) a personification of death, she is associated with healing, protection, and safe delivery to the afterlife by her devotees. My take on the last scene is the kid wouldn't stop talking, had already talked to complete strangers about working for gangsters in Mexico and when he realised who they were he, and sadly everyone else there, were witnesses to their presence in the U.S.
