Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

I have seen him talking about that. Very frightening.

Actually we call jelly - jelly (fruit juice plus thickening agent and tons of sugar, then we have jam which is usually the same as jelly but with seeds and part of the fruit, preserves are the whole fruit (such as strawberry preserves have whole strawberries in them). Jello we call Jello (which is gelatin).

Lyn Hurst

Yeah, I think S&P don't realise that Jelly in the US is what we in Australia call Jam. They are certainly thinking of Jello.

Hari Randhawa

Jane's father was an air traffic controller.

GYG359

Those two guys are legit badasses. When they filmed that last scene, the explosion was real and ended up being much larger than they expected. You can even see pieces of debris landing just behind them, but they didn't flinch a bit.

A L

Its texas.

Hugh S

Actor Bryan Cranston has said that the Jane death scene was his hardest to film. He gets emotional talking about it, and says he briefly saw his own daughter’s face while he was standing there letting her die, and his act of covering his mouth with his hand in shock was very real. In Cranston’s memoir novel, the very first page is him talking as Walter White, describing what he was thinking while deciding if he should let Jane live or die. It ends with “Oh God, what have I become?” I think that guilt shines through in this episode.

I know Jelly and Jam have different textures in the US. But the disgusted looks on Pudgey’s and Spartan’s faces when talking about JELLY mixed with PB makes me think that Jelly means something different in Australia. Are they thinking of JELLO? Because yeah that would be disgusting 🤮 But a PB and Jelly is pretty much the same as PB and Jam in the US. Just curious lol

imperial

I am very impressed with Spartan. He seems to understand the characters really well

Jessie's parents didn't "give up on him" they just enabled him his entire life and kept allowing h I'm to push boundaries. Maybe they could have done parenting different and support more or whatever. At this point Jessie is too far down the path on hard drugs where it could potentially ruin their lives too and their other sons. Jessies brother said he's all they ever talk about so I don't like the interpretation they gave up on him. Its just a difficult situation dealing with drug abuse in a family, jessies parents clearly love him.

Alex

keep it secular - in public schools in the US talking about god and religion is taboo.

Nick Wright

PB & J or Peanut butter and jelly is actually PB and Jam as they call jam jelly in US. They call jelly jell-o.

Jamiefishing7

Skyler found out about the money at the end of last season. The lawyer didn't do anything.

Milorad

The whole episode I wanted to scream: Remember what Tuco said))

Jackhammer

Keep it secular= to not mix in religion I think she ment.

Morten Stenseth

That opening with those twin guys in the beginning crawling is taking place in Mexico. Later on in the episode, they leave their car to go and cross over to the USA, so no they are not the same dudes who killed Combo since Combo was already in Albuquerque(USA) when he died.

Daniel

I think many of us really don't know the difference between jelly, jam, and preserves. It's all the same to me when I'm putting on a PB&J sandwich lol

John Neiberger

Yeah I noticed this episode got em.

Daniel Castro

Albuquerque, New Mexico :))

Corbyndallas

I went decades thinking jelly and jam were words for the same thing.

temsik28

The location that all the people were crawling towards at the beginning was a shrine to Santa Muerte, the Saint of Death, the two guys going there and posting the picture of Heisenberg was essentially a prayer asking for help killing him

Sarah

Spartan really nailed Walt’s state of mind in this episode. He’s in complete denial and blame-shifting every chance he gets. It’s fascinating to watch, imo.

Shay

Just one quick correction: New Mexico is to the west (left) of Texas. :)

Shay

Loved the reaction. Glad to see you guys getting into it now

JT

Albuquerque is in New Mexico, it is the state to the right of Texas. It's about a 4 hour drive from Albuquerque, New Mexico to El Paso, Texas which is where Hank was working previously last season. Those two guys in this episode were being smuggled into the United States from Mexico which has a border with the US that runs along both New Mexico and Texas(Although the left end of Texas almost entirely separates New Mexico from physically touching the US/Mexico border. El Paso is only 15-20 minutes from the US/Mexico border. Hope this helps with some of the geographical confusion. If this is deemed spoilery, someone let me know and I'll remove it.

Christopher

Here in the US, we call it “peanut butter & jelly” regardless of jelly or jam, lol. And jelly is much more common.

Mike Ramirez

Literally the first comment ignores this. People just can’t control themselves. 🙄

Mike Ramirez

Secular means keeping religion out of it. Albuquerque is in New Mexico, next to Texas.

Jaroslav Dočekal

Season 3 is where the show goes up to the next level. I'm very excited now that we're here!

****MOD MESSAGE- PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING**** Guys lets try to reel in and minimize setting expectations for the overall story, character story arcs, or future events. Theres a bit too much hinting at where certain arcs are going seasons alter, too much hinting about which characters are big/super important characters right after they first appear on the show, etc. If we want S&P to continue to be able to read the patreon comments we have to keep them spoiler free with minimal future expectation setting. Thank you!
