His beard must be magical to be able to stay the consistent well maintained look without the use of a razor. I'm just messing mate, not sure why the jump to shapeshifting, but your content is very enjoyable to watch.

2023-09-18 03:48:22 +0000 UTCDuring the entirety of book 2, the writers had forgotten that Lin is in fact a character with depth and motivations. It’s great to see that they remembered again in this episode. Lin's flashbacks are fascinating to watch, and while I was kinda disappointed that Toph may have also kinda dropped the ball in the parenting department, it still gave a lot of insight on how Suyin and Lin were shaped as kids. I especially like the idea that as a kid Suyin was the rebellious, dynamic one and Lin the more passive, in control one, but now the roles are almost reversed with how callous Lin has been to her sister. Lin confronting her sister was a pretty weird scene at first, as Suyin is just vibin and suddenly her sister shows up all sweaty and vengeful and everything, but it still ended up being one of the best fights in the series. I especially like Bolin's comment about how with siblings you kinda gotta let them fight it out, which is pretty accurate honestly, tho normally there's not this kind of collateral damage but whatever Lin emerging from her room all happy and polite and everything gave me hardcore post-metamorphosis Zuko vibes, and was honestly pretty awkward to watch at first, but one she started acting a little irritable again it was all good
