Why do you assume they won't watch Better Call Saul? It's still spoilers to post all of this, because not only will they probably watch it (they both seemed to like the Saul character and are enjoying the show), but you've flat out said that Saul has previous connections with the cartel. I really don't understand what you expect to gain by posting something like that.

Lmao, their mods are getting sh*t on in here. Better Call Saul is so good. Better than the majority of the fantasy shows aside from Game of Thrones. What Saul said in the desert in this episode spawns 2 incredible characters in Better Call Saul. They don't appear in Breaking Bad and since I'm sure they'll never watch BCS anyway. Nacho and Lalo Salamanca (the names he mentioned in the desert when they showed him the grave and threatened him- Ingnacio, Lalo) are indeed cartel affiliated characters that Saul gets in over his head with in the prequel. Better Call Saul doesn't get great until like halfway through season 3 though, and it's way slower than Breaking Bad is. I'm sure a lot of people gave up on it. Lalo is one of the greatest TV villains of all time. Anybody who skipped out on Better Call Saul took a massive loss. I didn't spoil sh*t either, neither of those characters are in Breaking Bad. There's no more mention of them, just the once in the desert while Saul is kidnapped, that's it.

He's great in the prequel but the prequel isn't just great because of him. Mark Margolis, Giancarlio Esposito, Jonathan Banks, Tony Dalton and Michael Mando's characters are big reasons it's as good as it is. Also the 10/10 writing that most shows just can't compete with. But I agree with you.

I don't think any show masters tension better than Breaking Bad. This is the slowest part of the show but it picks up in a big way, I would say towards the end of season 2 through the rest of the show. With that said though, people need to have a bit more patience and appreciate the setup.

Better Call Saul is a great show, but it‘s pretty different from Breaking Bad and I don‘t think it lends itself well to reactions. There aren‘t that many on Yotube for that reason. That doesn’t make it bad, it‘s one of those shows that you enjoy on your own if that makes sense.

better call saul takes a while to ramp up, there’s not too much action. but it gets better and is worth it i promise. one of my favorite things about tv shows are characters and dynamics between characters, and better call saul has a lot of that and it’s wonderful to me.

BB is my all time favourite show, but for me the show BCS is really boring, couldn't finish season 1 on multiple tries, it was so boring. And no, i don't have attention issues. The fact that i hate spinoffs also doesn't help, spinoffs are made not because you have a story to tell, but for greed and milking franchises.

Hahahahaha Ok, the slow close-up on Spartan when Pudgey corrected him on Spanish vs Mexican was hilarious. Just like Jesse said, Saul is the perfect (criminal) lawyer if your ultimate plan is to remain a criminal. And he’s a really fun character to watch on screen as evidenced by the successful prequel.

I think they kind of have to comment/react while watching, not just because that is kind of what this channel is about, but also for copyright reasons. This will after all go up on Youtube some day, so the video has to be about their reaction, and not them just putting the recorder on while watching silently. In a perfect world they would comment between scenes, but that's easier said than done when scenes can last minutes at a time. A quick fix would be to just adjust the volume on your end, either on your own copy or their uncut.

Great episode. I have a little gripe. As the show is playing you see Spartan listening and engaged. Pudgey on the other hand is commenting after every other sentence. I get this is a reaction video but you gotta watch inventively as well. The multiple comments after every sentence is annoying and not needed. Let the scene play out and if so wait until the discussion after the episode to go in.
