Breaking Bad 2x2 Uncut Reaction 'Grilled'

Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

as an aussie myself in my mid 20s, I have never seen one in australia, Gta Sanandreas is where i first saw one

Sean Carroll

That confrontation at the store is my favourite heisenberg quote along with Say My Name

Sean Carroll

Can you imagine if that was Walt going ham in the car bouncing it around lol. Too funny

Bob Marley

don't know if someone has suggested the minisodes already but they are worth watching and add to the story

Jeezleberry

If either of you were curious as to how Hank found Jesse's car out in the middle of nowhere... Jesse had a LoJack system installed in the car. A GPS system so cops can locate a car if it's stolen. You probably figured as much. But just in case you didn't I'll leave this here anyway.

Dennis Reynolds

Can't remember if it was this video or the last reaction video where one or both of you guys thought Emilio and Krazy 8 were both snitches. I think maybe Spartan said "so that's how Emillio got out of jail". Krazy 8 was the only snitch. Emillio got out of jail because somebody (likely Krazy 8) posted his bond. Krazy 8 says it in episode 1. I assume Astralians also have a bail/bond system for criminals so I won't explain that. So yeah, Krazy 8 was a snitch. Emillo was not. Either way it's not really important. Just an itch I needed to scratch by clearing that up. Also, the man in the wheelchair is Tuco's uncle not his father. Hector Salamanca is his name. Hank tells the audience that Tuco is a Mexican cartel associate so that's already been established... but Hector was a higher ranking cartel member than Tuco was before he turned into a vegetable. He's often referred to as "Don Hector" in the prequel series.

I fear our exports maybe painting us in a somewhat disingenuous light. When I lived in Grenada, the main American exports were Scarface, American Gangster, and Dark Knight. Like.. no wonder everyone thinks we're dodging shootouts on the reg.

Shannon Bey

"Give them a break" ??? I'm not ranting and raving like milo-whatever up there. Just a bit of banter, relax.

FullMetal B

Same here. I'm from Europe and haven't seen one irl but I know about low riders from Gta San Andreas and 90s West Coast Hip-Hop videos. And also Australia is no where near Mexico like the US so give them a break on not knowing the culture well.

Ersin Günay

Also, Japan has them but thats....a whole thing

Darth Sckolar

Someday. Someday they will attain the rule of cool.

Darth Sckolar

This is just my observation tho, not meant as a criticisim towards Spartan or Pudgey I mainly think they are joking. I just think that to criticise only one and not the other is promoting a double standard.

MrMoleHole

Milorad I do not think it is fair for u to criticise Pudgey for belittling Spartan when Spartan belittles Pudgey all the time by your definition, he often makes belittling comments towards Pudgey such as "Honestly you suck", sometimes referring to her points as "useless nonsense", "you look lost", and he makes these comments in situations where he is wrong too. I love watching these two and have been doing so for some time now and noticed Pudgey barely takes shots at Spartan

MrMoleHole

Tuco gave their wallets and stuff back in the one scene

JT

I mean no county has those cars except America. I know what is a lowrider because I played GTA San Andreas as a kid, I'm from Europe.

Milorad

I would agree with you if not for the fact that Pudgey is belittling Spartan, yet she is wrong. I just didn't like her attitude, Spartan was obviously frustrated as well, he was just trying to understand her point, and her point was very confusing, even to us as viewers, I watched the show 5 times and I was confused as to what was her initial point. At one point Spartan said that Tuco was running from the DEA (which is correct), she said "NO" while laughing, it's kinda annoying, but hey, that's just me.

Milorad

No need to get frustrated lol, they're first time viewers. They're not going to have the picture 100% clear in their head. The fact they can even remember the car was present in the vicinity of that raid, even if it is misleading, only says good things about the amount of attention they're paying, because a lot of people don't manage to hold onto those kinds of details. The misunderstandings are part of the charm of a reaction.

TeddyBearBonfire

I guess Australia doesn't have cholos driving low riders with hydraulics 🤣

FullMetal B

OMG Pudgey you're way too confident. I was so frustrated with your explanation about Jesse's car. Spartan asked you twice what's your point about the CAR, and every time you derail on this Tuco and crazy 8 situation and didn't even mention the car once. I completely understand you Spartan. The car was not "part" of the initial drug raid. Hank asked about the car because it is registered to Jesse Pinkman, he doesn't know Jesse nor the car was there at the initial drug raid. Cap'n Cook name is pretty irrelevant at this point, his style of meth hasn't made a reappearance since Emilio got arrested and vanished, and the license is just ''THE CAPN''.

Milorad

Hank is a hero in an antihero's world.

Matthew Bailey

RIP Mark Margolis. He recently passed away less than 2 weeks ago and you guys finally met the Ding Ding legend himself. He also starred in Al Pacino's Scarface back in the day.

Ersin Günay

I was just as confused as Spartan was when you guys were talking about Jesse’s car lol. I think an easier way to explain it is this: In Episode 1 Hank was looking for someone named “Cap’n Cook” when they arrested Emilio. And Jesse’s license plate is THE CAPN. So there’s a chance Hank might make the connection. (The cops never saw Jesse’s car at Emilio’s house though, or at any crime scene, this is the first time Hank is seeing it.)

imperial

Yeah, it depends on the circumstance. And even if the police won’t search until a certain number of hours have passed, that doesn’t mean family and friends just sit on their hands during that time.

Kate

The 'waiting 24-48 hours to report a missing person' thing is just a common misconception, and a potentially dangerous one because that is usually the most important time to look for someone.

Munir

Such a phenomenal actor and a great presence

Guadalupe Rosas

yea he got a concussion

big harsher

Not gonna lie, thinking the intro was sex had me absolutely cackling hahah

Isaac_

Because of the writers strike back on 2008, season 1 was cut short but if it wasn't for that, this episode would of been season 1 finale.

Daniel

RIP Mark Margolis who plays Tio Salamanca😢

Erin

Jesse did really well during the fight with Tuco! When I first watched I didn't think he would have it in him.

Millanos Sarna

Australians being introduced to lowrider hydraulics in this way is low key hilarious lolol. It's on Jesse's car in this case, but in the US these are really popular in Mexican-American youth culture

Rekway

You're watching the right season if you want a true Heisenberg moment... just wait

Pogger White

Tuco was going to be a character in the show for a longer time, but the actor asked to leave the show. He was a regular on another TV show at the time and he also said that playing Tuco was extremely taxing and took a lot out of him because he grew up around drug related gang violence and it brought back terrible memories.

Ellie Miller

"oh how the cards have turned" 😭😭😭

Dani

Fun fact about that scene. The actor that plays jesse really got hurt during filming when tuco pushed him out the door

Tae Kellz

The old guy in the house is Tuco's uncle. The word for uncle in Spanish is tío. And I'm loving Pudgey the criminologist lol She doesn't miss many details :)

John Neiberger

waiting for yall to upload these is so hard! i was fortunate enough to be able to watch it all at once but could you imagine having to wait a WHOLE WEEK between episodes and a YEAR between seasons??!?!

micah

Lmao the RHYTHM

Callum Redfearn

favorite episode so far. the ominous cold opens are a Gilligan signature.
