Breaking Bad 1x4 Uncut Reaction 'Cancer Man'

Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

Love Spartan & Pudgey

I like how Pudgey keeps testing Spartan lol

Paul

Who isn’t after that garbage heap of a last few seasons

Sean Carroll

Easiest way to sync up a copy (in my experience) is to just go to right after first or second screen transition on your copy, then play theirs, then you unpause your copy right when that transition happens. It's almost always exact for me or at best i have to quick pause one of the two for a second or two after if its not exact to get it 1:1 on the dialogue.

SuddenImpulse

Loving these reactions! Thanks guys , this show will take you on an emotional roller coaster.

trent sutton

i think they may be asking because it makes it a bit easier to sync up but i’m not 100% sure

kallista

is there a reason Rey? these are intended to be synced up with your own copy of the show which we offer some tips on how to do so in the deacription.

CpaSpartan Pudgey

Is it possible to put on subtitles ?

Rey Jr

Loving these reactions! You guys are great at catching details & sensing foreshadowing. Forgot how much development of Jesse's character we got in S1. Aaron Paul is a fantastic actor. Everyone on this show is great. This past year I've been fighting cancer. (And getting thru it watching S&P's GOT reactions haha). I am totally fine now, but re-watching Breaking Bad truly hits different now that I've been through it. Bryan Cranston & the writers do a perfect job of capturing the strangeness that follows a cancer diagnosis. It doesn't seem real when doctors break the news. You definitely stop giving a shit about the little things. I understand why someone in Walter's position would "break bad" a lot better now. Thankfully my prognosis was a lot better than his!

Instead of making personal remarks, how about you actually add to the conversation and perhaps answer his question? How does Jesse seem like a better person so far?

Hari Randhawa

Pudgey is spot on with how grounded everything is. GoT is awesome but you know you'll never see dragons and ice zombies walking about in your everyday life. A man cooking Meth with an old student is a lot easier to imagine and relate to. This show never loses that and that's where you get glued to this story.

Daniel Castro

Man, I can watch this alone, no problem, no tears. But when Pudgey starts crying so do I!!! lol

Christian Stewart

Exactly

Rey Jr

Amazing Episode and the first one with a lot of hidden foreshadowing.

DrückebergerTV

TeddyBear, you're so naive.

Milorad

I definitely don't see how Jesse seems like a better person. His main redeeming act these past 4 episodes has been not ratting out his younger brother to his parents (which is arguable in terms of morality—one might consider it wiser to let the parents of such a young child know what they are taking).

TeddyBearBonfire

Yes - when Hank finds his car, he says car belongs to our snitch, but I think you both missed it were talking and its meant to click that that's how Emilio the cousin got out so easily on bail, as you both asked in episode one how he got out on bail! hope this helps. Breaking Bad is a show that has no incidental dialogue so try not to miss anything, a small line can be very significant and you'll see and the show runners have actually said themselves, Its not a show that spoon feeds, its up to the audiences diligence to be watching and understand

Hugh S

And also I meant prior to that scene, when they asked about it

Trokdrew

Yeah because Walt washes the money in a laundry machine immediately after returning from the desert

Trokdrew

jesse and walt are both interesting, complex characters! i am biased towards jesse though because i just really personally understand somewhat what he has been through in life, and he just gives me a better vibe than walt like i guess maybe he seems like a better person?

kallista

Agree with Spartan, the way they are able to take a seemingly meaningless object like a plate or a joint and turn it into a major plot twist - it’s absolutely brilliant writing. Expect LOTS more of this.

Joseph

We get so much character development for Jesse in this one episode just by seeing his interactions with the people in his life. Also feel bad that he’s clearly going through some ptsd about the Emilio/Krazy-8 situation, and he doesn’t want to be alone. When he turns to his friends they just want drugs from him. When he turns to his family they just assume he’s on drugs. He has no positive support system in his life.

imperial

You sure? When Jesse said he didn't smoke it all, sold instead, he meant the bag of crystal he threw out of window in the bathroom fight scene.

Ademir Junior

The stuff with the mask and Skylar was to highlight her mental state and how detailed she is and needs to be in control.

Rich Plumb

im anticipating these more than the game of thrones reactions 🤣

The money he had came from krazy 8 and emilio, they didnt sell anything but took their money when cleaning up the RV in the desert

Good call not exposing any potential lies you’d tell, Spartan. Gotta keep those in the back pocket.
