Breaking Bad 1x3 UNCUT Reaction

Breaking Bad 1x3 Uncut Reaction '...And the Bag's in the River'

Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

If her parents were addicts, there are 8 out of 10 more chances that she is gonna use drugs as well, one of the main factors being hereditary, so unfortunately no, it's not just a question of choice. And even if it was her choice, most people wouldn't choose this path unless they are pretty desperate, so she deserves compassion either way in my opinion.

Lise

The cinematography in this show is exemplary. Nothing tops it.

Daniel Castro

100% agreed

Direct this breaking bad react right into my veins, thanks guys. I’m so ready for this journey. GoT is hype, but nothing beats BB imho >:)

Isaac_

Best Episode of the series thus far with the first real shocking moment and amazing cliffhanger.

DrückebergerTV

I don't see it as special treatment at all, just basic decency and recognition that she has feelings. I think she deserves the benefit of the doubt--there's no indication that she's hurt anyone but herself. The only thing that seemed to weigh on the acceptance of Hank's cruelty was her appearance, which we should all know is the worst way to judge anyone. Most people in Wendy's situation either don't have a great start in life (to say the least), or end up spiraling downward through some misfortune. Yes, addicts can do a lot of harm to others, but addiction is a terrible thing which I think mitigates culpability. The show does ask us to consider the impact of meth as one of the externalities of Walt's decisions. As for the real Wendys of the world, I know people can frequently abuse addicts, sex workers, and unhoused people, which is partly why I chose to comment. I think Spartan and Pudgey are both smart and well-meaning enough to do better than punch down.

Kate

same and I have never seen reactions to Breaking Bad completely fresh like this

Abby

The reason you feel that way about Walt and Jesse is because we are focusing on them. So it is still biased. Interesting viewpoint tho.

Abby

You know when you say it like that, he could've done it differently, he had already Krazy 8 convinced he would not kill him but still he did it that way. Maybe he was waiting for 8 to admit it and back down or something but I think Walt lost it when he felt betrayed like that. Dunno, the characters are so complex which makes this series awesome.

Abby

Yeah maybe. But that's a choice too. We have no idea who Wendy is and she shouldn't get special treatment for being a druggy who wastes her life when we won't give it to others. We don't know who she's hurt, what lives she's destroyed (besides her own). Hank might. And yet he's still cruel. It's all screwed up. The interesting thing is that the only people who seem to second-guess themselves are Walt and Jessie. Everyone else is so dead set in their beliefs and their projections that they're not realizing what is happening before their eyes. Choice. Life-making, life-shattering, choice. And just like the end of the intro with walt pouring Emilio down the toilet, we're forced to ask the question, 'Whats a human life worth?'. Wendy deserves our disgust and contempt just as much as she deserves our compassion, but ultimately it boils down to how you choose to act. How are we really treating the Wendy's of the world every day that we might be around them?

Darth Sckolar

Who else finds the way Krazy-8 says 'Cold Blooded Murder" at 14 mins, just straight up soothing. xD So weird, but...so smooth. lmfao

Darth Sckolar

So happy you're watching this brilliant series. I've watched it a few times and I still pick up on new things. Everything is intentional and has meaning. I'm excited to watch your journey. I hope you do a few a week. :)

Kristin Kanan

I’ve only watched this show once all the way through so I’m being reminded of all the little details and the brilliance of the writing. It’s all only more clear on rewatch and OMG, you guys are in for one hell of ride. I could watch these everyday with you guys but that’s also because I’m impatient to see you see the whole picture. I promise it only gets better from here. Amazingly, each season improves on the last.

Shay

and an even better pay off in BCS

Demented Avenger

My favorite show of all time. I NEED an episode every day!

Frederik

Keep it up Pudgey. No need to spoil the keyboard or Spartan pants

Jackhammer

True

Rey Jr

Well done Pudgey on thinking aloud about the missing piece to the plate. Slow buildups like that in this show, make it one of my favourite shows of all time.

Oslo

I felt so bad for pudgey gagging… I definitely feel you on that. Such a gross beginning of the ep.

Malorie

Hank: “It sort of looks like meth, but it’s too damn…White.” He has no idea how close he is 😏

imperial

It's deeply disturbing watching Walt choke Krazy 8, I mean its such an intense way to kill someone.. I can't even look the whole time! I bet Walt wished he HAD just poisoned him.

Ailene Evangelista

You two have the most overactive gag reflexes I've ever seen. 🤣 I was surprised by your reaction to the Wendy scene. I think Hank is really showing his ugly side there. He uses her, bullies her, and treats her like absolute trash. And Spartan's only reaction to that character and that scene is to be grossed out by her. One of the things I enjoy about your reactions is the compassion you can show even to deeply flawed and degraded characters (like Gollum). Andy Serkis actually plays Gollum like someone whose life was ruined by addiction. I think Wendy's situation should make us sad, not contemptuous.

Kate

It's more in the next episode.

Jaroslav Dočekal

I’m so excited to see your guys reaction to how this show and its characters develop. There’s a reason it’s widely considered to be the best show ever created

Erin

An easily missed line that Gomez said in this episode is "someone croaked our snitch" in reference to Krazy 8. Just a thing worth noting

Pogger White

Ive watched this series 3 or 4 times. Still excited to watch it again for the “first time” with you.

ChimneyJim

I need one of these episodes every day. I just rewatched the series a few months ago, but now that we're getting into it, I'm looking forward to every new episode. You two are in for a great series!

John Neiberger

not at all. i am too currently. i think that’s partially because of how i feel about the later seasons of game of thrones tbh.
