And please stop killing my hopes that the books won’t be finished 😭 Winds of Winter is nearly there, and then there’s only one more book after that. It’s not exactly a Wheel of Time scenario. GRRM is a very young 74 years of age. Plenty of time right?? 🙏

There are so many opportunities here that a Jon Snow show could do. I just don't like the idea of House Targaryen dying out. Jon deserves to have a family of his own.

Watch it many times as it never gets old and of course everyone has their opinions on the different seasons but they can't make everyone happy.

As a book reader, I personally have major issues with the writing starting from season 5 onward, but the music never disappoints (season 6 is my personal fave soundtrack). A little off topic, but I'd love to see you guys watch Twin Peaks. It's one of the most unhinged things I've ever seen; simultaneously the goofiest and scariest show ever. Not sure if it'd do well as a series but it was huge when it aired and I personally love it. Anyway, I'm excited to see you guys move on to the next show!

Regardless of how you feel about the controversial moments or episodes, there were far more great ones that were executed masterfully. It brought people together again. We didn’t have all that hate that has been generated by Trump and his MAGA cult. Love you both! (Spartan — I’m still drooooling over here 🤣 [I am so sorry, Pudgey — you’re a lucky lady.]).

2023-07-09 01:26:17 +0000 UTCI agree, maybe spoilers are an issue with some murder mystery type stuff but I don’t know any GoT fan that really wanted to know this world GRRM created who didn’t read all the books including all the extra stuff beyond the main Song of Ice and Fire series. None of the knowing histories and houses lore has ruined my viewing any of the shows. I picked up a copy of a GoT paperback sometime back in the late 90’s at a thrift store when looking for peoples donated old fantasy/sci-fi books. I definitely knew what was coming for Ned and Robb but it didn’t diminish my enjoyment of the show in the slightest. :)

I kind of hope so despite my love for the series and its place as number 1 in my mind too. As a fantasy/sci-fi reader I know there’s lots of great potential source material out there I just hope the right people get ahold of it to make something great with. Just like many though I will always uphold GoT as one of the greats no matter what incredible stuff may come. I’m sure I will be telling my grandkids they HAVE TO SEE this old show, lol.

2023-07-09 00:55:44 +0000 UTCI’m so glad you feel this way. Yes there are some shortcomings but as a whole it’s probably the greatest television series ever made to this point. I’ve watched the whole thing many times as well as read and listened to the book series multiple times. I highly recommend listening to the book series on Audible, I think you’ll enjoy it every bit as much as the show. Yes we are still waiting for the final two books but I still have hope we’ll get them some day, George says he’s working on them. It’s been a lot of fun watching you two watch the show and I think your commentary is some of the best out there. Concerning life and you two’s happiness, I wish you good fortune in the wars to come!⚔️

Your reactions and in depth discussions have been my favorite out of any other channel by far. And I’ve grown more appreciation for some of the episodes that I didn’t like as much, after seeing you guys enjoy them so much. Controversial ending aside, it’s still one of the greatest shows of all time, and I hope you do decide to read the books. There’s SO much more to this story.
