if you start a popular teen show like the vampire diaries, outerbanks, or pretty little liars, or the 100 you WILL get a ton of engagement (however the audience may not overlap as much with other shows besides avatar and maybe goT). However classic options like Harry Potter, LOTR, or the Hunger Games would definitely be a smart choice.

Tom Holland is starring in this new limited series "The Crowded Room". It's a true crime, but you follow alongside the main character going over what happened and discover the truth. Mental health has a big part in this show. It's a good show though, I recommend it if you're looking for a good limited series to watch instead of secret invasion. Either way, love the reactions!

@MrMoleHole I think She-Hulk was nothing but Disney exercising a stance on modern feminism and then there were tiny story elements in it. It should have been the other way around, a good story with feminism being a part of it. Also, the only new-age male hero is Spiderman? Every hero younger than 25 is female? I'm sorry, that just feels forced like that one ridiculous scene in Endgame. Thor Love & Thunder is one of the worst movies I've ever seen and was for sure written by a 6 year old. And then Samuel Jackson pulling a "I'm black so it'll work" every ten seconds as if its his only trait. I'm black too. It's not a rarity. All that said, we do have great examples of topical elements done right. Both Black Panther movies were excellent with the first one being a bit better. You could tell that struggle of the black diaspora was organically written into the story and had purpose for the plot. Thus making Kilmonger one of the best villains (my personal favorite) in the entire MCU. Ms Marvel was fantastic. Granted her Pakistani heritage is part of the comics, it was showcased extremely well in the show. You could tell it was thoroughly thought out and written into the show from the beginning. And finally, The Eternals was actually pretty good. The issue that I saw in it wasn't really topical, but it definitely felt like there was a battle between the director and Disney. It felt like it was a movie made by someone who's honestly too good for Disney's heavy agenda-writing hand and knows what truly makes a good story. This was a lot, but I know the word "agenda" can put people on edge. I'm not going to pretend like the content that's obviously agenda writing is good sht. And it's quite clear that it's hurting the MCU greatly. NOT because racists bigots hate it, but because the stories aren't there at all. And a conclusion is only as good as its build up, so I really don't think MCU is going to stick any kind of landing in the next coming years

aw...I think it's a pity since it's only 6 episodes. I have a good feeling about the show. However I do understand the decision, as I have to admit that after episode 1 and 2 I wasn't eager to jump to YT to see peoples reaction. I think it will be a good show, but maybe not the type to react to. Time will tell and looking forward to your movie reviews. I reccommend Shindler's list if y guys haven't seen it yet.!

@MrMoleHole It's not really a specific agenda. MCU writers are writing stories to have topical societal situations within them rather than allowing topical societal situations to organically happen within a well-written story. That's the difference between agenda writing and good writing. Don't write just to appease a topical element. Let the topical element naturally arise within a well written piece. And if it doesn't arise, maybe it'll arise in the next one. But don't bastardize an IP just to get it done.

I still ask for The Last Kingdom! I honestly can think of no show better suited to P & S's taste. It's absolutly phenomenal. I know its not well known but I've followed reactors that introduced me to it and it's now possibly my favorite show of all time. If GOT had ended well it may not have been but it didn't. Every reactor that has watched it expresses how phenomenal it is. I'd love so much for you to see it.

It was performing very poorly on both patreon and youtube, has nothing to do with platform preference. It has to do with results vs. time+effort when they have limited time and limited show slots. They never want to stop watching a show by any means, but unfortunately you can only predict to a certain degree how well a show might do in general, and less so for a specific channel. This unfortunately happens for every channel at some point, and unless you are a larger channel that is more insulated from these types of concerns, its harder to do content that isn't performing that well, its a bigger risk. You may have noticed that many channels that started Secret Invasion hoping it would be a return to form for Marvel and get some good viewership were underperforming compared to their other videos. This is why they generally try to be careful with what shows they watch but also leave the disclaimer in the first episodes that continuing them is dependent on how they perform. Hope you understand, no one wants to disappoint anyone I promise you. Your support is appreciated. =)
