It’s a mix of like 20% sexist 20% ageist and 60% because people really wanted book 4 of avatar 😂 the last part I can agree with I wanted more avatar Aang too but I never Korra could be this great. It’s crazy because Korra is a b***h every now and again but she like apologizes the same episode and fans will hold it against her for 2 books 😂 I agree much of the criticism of Korra is a bit much but I think it’s because she’s a young woman but also because people didn’t like the idea of moving on from the original team avatar

Atla has a ton of episodes besides the great divide that aren’t significant to the story at all. Idk why people want to look for flaws in korra so bad lol

I love how differently you guys saw this episode than some of the fandom. It's a pretty great episode in its own way but many don't see that but I agree I wish bolin would have be more seriously mad than in the episode but it was good for me and I love pro bending just like u guys so this having the most pro bending of the episodes was a great change of pace for me TBH. Great reaction! The show takes another turn after this! Can’t wait 😂

I mean Mako says it himself that “he’s with Asami”, whilst Korra is trying to make a move on him. That pretty much spells out that they’re exclusive in Mako’s mind at that moment, and it alludes to the fact that he knows it would hurt Asami if she found out.

I guess it's not yet but it also happened so fast... Anyway, if you didn't talk about it, I'd say the default thing to assume it's you're exclusive. So for me, even only with the information given until now, it's still on Mako.

Yeah but 70 years later, things change. Think about how much richer and more knowledgeable we are today than people were 70 years ago. Makes complete sense that more people would be able to to lightning bend and it would be capitalized on.

if someone has bts info let me know, but I don't mind what this ep attempts to do. I just feel the pacing is wayyyy out of whack. its too fast and not enough time to marinate and let this feel affecting in anyway. it all felt a bit random and chaotic. Hadn't watched Korra before, but so far I really like the villain and questions being raised here, but I feel the pacing is way way way too fast.

Some episodes are good, but they ruined parts of the original series way to much, like random construction workers have the power to lightning bend, and use lightning bending like its manual labor? Wtf! Lightning bending was something the likes of Iroh, Azula and Ozai could only do!
