I would like to add two things here: 1. I really like how strongly everyone feels about whether this was a mistake or not. It means they really built a connection with their audience and people care for the purity of the first watch. :) Their journey through this world is really something special and we all enjoy it. My guess would be their personality... they're funny, entertaining, and very committed. It's borderline impossible not to like them, and watch them getting converted into a true GoT fan. Their theories, the love and hate list, their obvious excitement and devastation sometimes.... it's the closest thing we get to watching the show for the first time. 2. Spartan's comment about how he can't wait for a re-watch. Thats a good man right there with the right attitude. It'll be just as fun for different reasons. Once you know the plot and the character's storyline, you will discover a thousand little cues and hints, although you guys did a really good job with that during your first watch. The Mad King lusted after Tywins wife (and cousin) Joanna Lannister so who knows what may have happened while Tywin was away on Hand duties from Kings Landing and what other child may have been born to a parent that hated them? @Supreme Leader there's a difference between reacting BLIND and reacting INATTENTIVELY. R+L=J was literally spoon fed to everyone. HBO literally released an infographic for people watching inattentively because they wanted no confusion that R+L=J after 6x10.

@SuddenImpulse030 this was my pov. the writers definitely wanted to convey 6x10 a certain way and I know if fell flat for a lot of people and got confused. But the fact that S&P picked up what the writers wanted to convey meant that we should leave it at that. No point trying to point them in another direction when they already got what the writers wanted them to get out of 6x10. I know a lot of people got confused when 6x10 aired and they wanna re-live that moment through S&P but the fact remains that the writers wanted to confirm R+L=J then and there and S&P was able to pick that up.

How are people being dramatic when they're paying $13/mo for BLIND reactions on the demi-god tier? I've been a patron for 8 months and subscribed when they started the show. I subscribed specifically because they're watching the show BLIND. Were the mods really that IMPATIENT that they couldn't wait 5-6 weeks until the end of season 7 where the show officially confirms that theory. These side videos are meant to add to what the GOT has already shown. If the mods had any common sense they would show this AFTER the finale.

It is impossible to get all the details on your first watch, so videos like these help refresh their memory and understand the information that's been given to them so far. I avoided all content like this while watching the show, so it’s just a bit out of alignment for me as a viewer. And Pudgey remembers every-freakin-thing😂. If there wasn’t such a high expectation for “absolutely no spoilers” I probably wouldn’t be half as deflated after watching this. Can’t wait for the rest of this series! It’s probably already been said by the dozens of wonderful comments already made but it really does hit hard in the best of ways that when people who actually KNEW Rhaegar Targaryen speak of him—— it’s only ever GOOD things, and specifically in ways that can EASILY be related to Jon. It can also be noted that those who DID know Rhaegar and were arguably the closest to him are some of the biggest GOATS of the series or at least characters that everyone loves. Baristan Selmy - I did know him well, finest man I ever knew. - People fought and died for Rhaegar because they admired him, because they loved him - Daenerys “Viserys told me he was good at killing people.” Baristan (doesn’t say that Rhaegar WASN’T a strong warrior or competent fighter… only that) “Rhaegar never LIKED killing. He LOVED singing.” (Jon is a BEAST in any fight…. He’s never enjoyed battle or the horrors that come with it though) Obyren - And BEAUTIFUL, NOBLE Rhaegar Targaryen left her for another woman. That started a war and the war ended right here when your father's army took the city. (Interesting that even expressing anger at Rhaegar for his apparent leaving of his sister to pursue another woman he STILL compliments him in the same sentence, even going so far as to still call him noble even.) Jorah (the andal) Mormont - Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, and Rhaegar d i e d. (Word for word you could say the same thing about Jon in how he died defending the wildlings chance at survival by letting them pass through the wall for safety)

Maister Aimon was the mad kings uncle. He tells John Snow that he passed up the crown and let his brother take the crown. And then he says that his brothers son became the mad king. Regar Targaryen is the mad king son. John Snow is Regar son. So now you can do the lineage from there.

I don't understand why everyone is so outraged about them watching this. They had vaguely guessed by 6x10 and in 7x1 they seemed much more confident that they were right about this theory. Besides everything in this video has already been watched by them, it's just been pieced together in a way that supports the theory. I'm sure their reaction when the truth is delivered will still be great and there are plenty of surprises to come!!

Thank you for the input. It is appreciated and you make some excellent points. I just wanted to clarify a thing or two, but that doesn't take anything away from your valid opinion. The book prophecy things were covered in part by one of the History and Lore videos, and the Stark warging thing a lot of people brought up in the comments when they were in an earlier season and modding wasn't quite situated as yet, so that info isn't new to them. That said, it was heavily emphasized for them before watching these that these were purely theorycrafting/postulating and released before the episode itself came out, and that its no confirmation of anything and this was mainly just a way for them to get things more organized in their minds (such as the family tree) and to appreciate the foreshadowing scenes going so far back. Really appreciate how you worded this and addressed your concerns and issues with it. Feel free to toss any of us mods a DM on discord if you ever have any other thoughts, constructive criticism, or suggestions. We are all ears, we continue to learn, adapt, and change things and we want to do our best to maintain quality content for you all, and also ensure that the community is happy with how things are being done. =)

My only gripe with this is, that they watched Alt Shift Xs video, wich mixes show canon with book canon. It made them hyped about jon warging, wich was never part of the show and spoiled the books for them. It mentioned book prophecys that are not part of the show either, further setting expactations for show only watchers, that the show never intended to meet. Yet, im optimistic they will forget about it quickly. But Videos like these certainly are part of the many reasons people were displeased with last couple of seasons.

Everyone losing their goddamn minds over these videos are babies. Sudden has stated over and over again that he and the other mods had an in depth discussion with S&P about where their thoughts were with everything before deciding whether or not to watch these. I think it's easy to figure out that they wouldn't show something that included spoilers considering how strict they are with GOT spoilers. Everyone's crying about spoilers because us as normal viewers aren't privy to every little thing that S&P are thinking like the mods are...just trust the mods jesus christ.
