Considering that you guys are almost finished with ATLA and GoT. It would be really fun if you guys did a special video on your overall thoughts when you're finished. Talk about your favourite characters/moments/scenes etc.

Iron hasn't peaked yet

It's seemingly always a full moon in book 3

Katara would feel their mother's loss more. She was the one her mother was protecting, she saw the man, she saw her mother's burnt corpse and had to take her necklace off it. Sokka even admitted that Katara filled the whole that was left, but Katara didn't have that. The same way Sokka felt it more strongly to get their father back.

That a random gal escaped leaving unconscious a couple of guards and dedicated to kidnap some random civilians in a random village that Fire Nation obviously didn't give a fuck about if she was still doing it. I just think the decision was totally his, mate, because the asshole felt like it. Seen that theory before, has no weight.

oh no i love the banter keep it coming haha, I just threw in my 2 cents :D

πŸ˜‚ just being cheeky no offense intended

not every time

i absolutely love this episode!! katara is my favorite charakter and her and zuko show so much strenght and chemistry (as friends, even tho a lot of us wish it would be otherwise) and i read a theory about how katara is the sister that zuko always deserved and the more he gets away from azula and fights her, the closer he gets to the sister he always derserved and needed, katara.

Marco Konrad

spartan needs to put some respect on pudgey's memory lmao dude challenges her every episode on stuff they said previously and he's wrong every time lmao

Steven

Already can’t wait for the next one. Can’t you just bring out the last few episodes all at once πŸ˜›

Katara showed in this episode just how powerful of a waterbender she has become with bloodbending and stopping the rain (which was amazing)! Zuko's fire-bending has improved so much since those earlier encounters. Azula seemed to be in a completely different league before but now he is able to hold his own against her and even fight back. I'm really loving these Zuko team-ups episode after episode, we get to see a different aspect of him highlighted every time. It's like we're making up for all the lost time not having Zuko as part of our team.

I hope there's, like, zero delay between shows. lol. I have two reaction channels that just bailed after Aang.

Jonathanese

IIRC, they showed a full moon in the episode.

I consider water and fire to be the most emotional elements. So when this aired I was prepared for some hard feels, and it delivered. One of my favorite bits is the sheer shock on Zuko's face when he first sees bloodbending. Like "Holy Sh-WTF I'm real glad I switched sides right now." But yeah one thing is that the Gaang was lacking fire in some way. For instance, Aang had gained the witty idealism of air, the nurturing of water, and could stand his ground with Earth. But he was still not fully "realized". He wasn't fully engaged with his destiny, almost like it's "just a thing he's supposed to do". He was still in denial about his status as a firebender, fearing the power and seeing it as a danger. Learning that fire is life, inspiration, purpose, and leadership help engage him. Katara still had so much pent up rage and hurt that she could only really hint at, but could never quite shake. She had to stay strong for the group to keep them together. Her trip with Zuko was her chance to let out all that rage and pain. Let out the energy bottled up inside her. Sokka it's a little harder to say, but it was a little more about redemption in a sense. I mean I guess he literally said "The invasion was my idea and it failed. I need to regain my honor." But I never felt his honor was in question. But it was an excellent time for him to shine.

Jonathanese

Very important point right here. "I'm afraid I'm not taking prisoners today" Why would they now decide to kill her rather than taking her prisoner like they had always done? Or to put it another way: What particular thing happened the last time they kept a prisoner from the southern water tribe?

Jonathanese

It was the full Moon though they showed it

Max Mustermann

probably my favorite detail in this episode is Zuko's eyes when he puts together that katara is blood bending. at first, he seems confused as to what is happening and then when he looks over to her and realizes, he has a subtle eye popping moment. i partly wish they expanded on it a little more, but there really wasn't a way to do that. I think this is the moment zuko truly grasped how powerful katara is but chooses not to be. She blood bended without the full moon. girl is powerful asf.

Steven

Can’t believe we are so close to the end! Can’t wait to finish out this journey with you guys and start a new journey with Korra πŸ˜„

Daniel Jackson

i really admire the maturity in conversation between zuko, katara, aang and sakka. All different takes, all valid. It's likely the only time the group fundamentally disagrees with each other and there isn't a clear right and wrong.

Steven

we can't escape the boiling pot lol

Jack Savage

If you guys noticed this time. Azula's firebending is more aggressive and she sounds more furious after Mai and Ty Lee's betrayal. One of her best qualities is her precision and would firebend out her fingertips.

Jason Serrano

IVE BEEN WAITIIIING thank you. My favorite episode, finally 😭

Tyler

JUST IN TIME!
