Game of Thrones Uncut Reaction S6 E10 'The Winds of Winter'
Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.
Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.
Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.
These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.
Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Love Spartan & Pudgey
Im a huge Dany fan. House Targaryen all the way! 🐲🐉🔥Gives me goosebumps and so much excitement when I see Daenerys going to Westeros with her big army at her back.

Right????! Lmao I was like stop PAUSING ITT. What was even more annoying to me is that they keep talking and coming up with the theories of what was gonna happen next. 😭 I know they can do that but still it was kinda gonna ruin the hype.

I think we didn't really see Cersei mourn her son because by that point she already belived he would die. The prophesy said she would bury all 3 of her children. When her daughter died, she fully believed in the prophecy at the point. So I think she saw his death as innevitable.

the reason the high sparrow doesn't have a mark is because only the faith militant get them, the army that cersei gave the high sparrow and thats why Lancel only gets his after they reform the faith militant, so you dont get the mark if you are a priest, think of it like a holy order such as the knight's templar, they are the military of the church but only make up a small part of all the members. I love this show but one thing i always thought they did a bad job on was not explaining how the church works.

I think Cersei didn't expect Tommen to commit suicide, i think she was wearing black in preparation to mourn (and to foreshadow) the deaths of everyone in the sept. And Jamie coming back and having that expression on his face whilst Cersei was getting crowned i think was supposed to symbolise that to him, if Cersei was being crowned, something bad happened to Tommen, hence why he had a negative expression on his face, i dont think he was annoyed at Cersei, he was worried about the implications from her crowning on the wellbeing on his son.

I don't think it was all already under there. We saw Cersei's wildfire stores in season 2, so I do think some of that was moved there too, but I'd definitely agree some was under the sept, as it'd clearly be a place the mad king would target, along with other places in the city.

6.09 and 6.10 are probably my favourite 2 episodes. Just an incredible double bill! I understand you loathing Cersei, but there cannot be enough praise for Lena Headey. The fact she never won awards for this role is crazy. She's incredible in this episode and I may not love Cersei and I really think she went too far with the awful torture of the Septa, I couldn't not admire her for her plan. She went from her weakest to her strongest in one episode, wiping out a good portion of her enemies and those like her uncle who didn't respect her. That was impressive! Also, the clothes weren't chosen knowing Tommen would die as mourning clothes. Spartan was right in the reaction - it's her form of armour. She's dressing for battle. Although, I do think once Marcella died she resigned herself to all her children dying, so knew Tommen would die, although she did try and keep him safe by not letting him go to the trial. She loves her kids, but if she doesn't have them, she chooses power. She was treated like property, being passed between various men (Tywin, Robert and then supposedly Loras) and now she chooses to hold the power. Fair play to her! Although, Jaime coming home to see she's done exactly what he lost his honour preventing (when he killed the mad king to stop him blowing people up) must have been tough for him to see!

@Virgil You are literally saying that a large ensemble show is all about one character, and that the title of the whole series is referencing that character specifically. That part is the issue. Comments like these are exactly why we planned in advance for them to not read the 6x10 Patreon comments and just forwarded them screenshots of all the safe comments.
Stating something isn't a spoiler doesn't magically make it so.
Please read the commenting rules we post on each video. Each one of those rules is there for a reason and was a result of past issues.

Tbf, I think it's because The High Sparrow is doing it for a "noble" cause. He believes he's serving the gods and cleansing high-born sinners. He had a philosophy, and that's what Spartan admired. Cersei tortures someone literally because she says it feels good.

Please Read!! So if you remember Tyrion explaining to Dany that the Mad King placed barrels of wildfire under the Red Keep the Sept of Baelor and of the major places in Kings Landing. That is how he was going to “burn them all” ! Cersei used what the Mad King had already in place. The royals new about it but the people and low class did not. That’s how she got around the High Sparrow.

I'm disappointed in Pudgy for saying "why would it not be Neds son?" so casually. She gets all the praise and Spartan gets shit generally, yet he realized immediately that Jon is not Neds son and she was confused. And this is not the first time it happened, but people act like she's the one that always figures everything out.

Putting aside Cersei’s evil, the Sparrow and his minions deserved to die. Religious fanatical zealots who manipulated all the key players to gain power and exert their authoritarian control. Even managed to manipulate Spartan into thinking the high sparrow was an alright guy.

Tommen’s death in this episode is a good example of why I never bought into the idea that Cersei’s redeeming quality was that she loved her children. I know that she always said that. She might’ve even believed it. But I don’t think she really cared about them other than how they were extensions of herself, and how that helped her to retain or gain more power through them. The finale to this episode is so epip! You have that triumphant declaration of Jon as King of the North, followed by the somber scene of crowning Cersei, while her audience in the throne room does not appear to be very happy about the situation. And finally, the armada with Daenerys and Company, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.

Put some respect on Cerseis name. If apply a moral evaluation to the characters in the show 90% of them should be disregarded as evil.. (if we consider murder to be bad)… so you should maybe stop focusing on moral evaluations (as most of the characters murdered, raped, etc. at one point)… try to focus on character depth, motivations, growth, and acting.. when you look at it from that perspective you realise just how good and integral to the story the character Cersei is (not a good person tho lol)… Cersei is always my top 3 from the show!

Thank you for mentioning the soundtrack. Depressingly little mention here so far, yet Light of the Seven is a huge highlight of the episode and series. Even so, this is only my second favorite. My absolute fav of GOT tracks plays in the closing minutes of s8e03. I'd consider the name of the track a spoiler so I won't name it but you probably know it. Sheer brilliance.
You can see how Djawadi has improved and evolved over the course of the series. He was always good but the difference between season 8 or even now, and season 1, is stark.

Spartan figuring out Jon's mother before Pudgey was not on my bingo card at all. I have to echo the comments, a literal masterpiece of an episode from start to finish. Need a special shoutout for the music in this episode alone. So many favorites, but Winds of Winter is absolutely the winner for me. So much debate about how much to hate Cersei in the comments, personally this episode cemented the fact Cersei is literally the craziest bitch I've seen and I respect how much I hate her entirely. To have the nerve to murder people she hates (Margaery, the Sparrows, etc) is one thing to blow up the sept with no regard for the innocent lives of others in the sept and around it, gives full Mad Queen energy. Similarly there are a lot of people who dont like Jon/hate hero types etc but I feel so justified seeing how much you two just adore Jon Snow as I have for years I cannot wait for your new loves/likes/hate lists. Last thing to say its so satisfying your reactions in particular because you know the story, you've paid attention, you see the moments for their true weight. Its so easy to exclaim at all the high moments like so many reactors do but you two take the cake for understanding their impact. As we get into the final handful of eps, I do wonder who do you think will get a happy end versus who do you think deserves one?

The Mountain is not going to not feed and occasionally hit her. The stuff that the Mountain has done in the show, and in the books, is probably the most twisted and horrific stuff in the series. Saying "he is your god now". Saying "shame. shame." as she leaves. It's absolutely the worst fate anyone could have.

You guys did misunderstand something. Littlefinger has always wanted the throne. That's why he creates chaos, it's a ladder for him to climb higher and get more power, and eventually the throne. If you rewatch the first few seasons, you always see littlefinger staring at the thrown, Varys even comments on it.

Thank you to the mods, without whom this reaction would have certainely not been the same and surely spoiled throughout the way. They did such an amazing job that the most important reveal of the show was completely unspoiled for S&P, and we got to see them have an amazing reaction to it. Hey guys, just wanted to thank u for the amazing GOT journey. 6x10 is my favorite episode of all time (maybe from any TV show). I don't think I'll be watching ur reactions to 7 or 8 (i dislike those seasons), but I'll FOR SURE finish up Avatar w/ you both. :)

I personally didn't hate Cersei for what she did to the Nun. The Nun treated her like shit as well and had her locked in a cell in the same way. Even the Nun at times seemed like she was enjoying torturing Cersei, like she was abusing her role to hurt people. Could have been a misread by me but imo they're both cunts so I enjoyed seeing both of them get their comeuppance, as disturbing as it was lol

This is one of the episodes I have been dying to see you react to and you did not disappoint! The GoT universe has been expanding up until this point and now it all starts to be brought together. Cersei may not do her own dirty work, but she will use whatever is at her disposal to protect herself and gain revenge. No perceived wrong can go unpunished in her eyes. Littlefinger operates through chaos. Whatever works best for him at the moment will be the direction he turns. He does want the throne--and he wants Sansa. Now he works to sow discord between Jon and Sansa. Sansa learned how to play this game from Cersei and Littlefinger. If you listen closely, when Sansa is playing the game, her speech pattern mimics Cersei's. I'm so happy you now know Jon is the son of Lyanna. How many times has Spartan said, "He's Ned Stark's son!" LOL! Arya is now back in Westeros. How long will she be on her own? This season has set you up for the final battles to come. Now imagine how all of us felt having to wait FOREVER for season 7 to air. It was torture!

Cersei inarguably won that particular game of thrones. Yes she used the children etc, but all of the major manipulators use others in their schemes to do the hands-on work (Varys, Littlefinger, Tywin, Tyrion, Olenna...) - it would have been silly for Cersei to risk being the one to light the wildfire.

In the previous episode Cersei asked Qyburn about the "rumor" they had heard about, and in a later scene Tyrion told Daenerys about the Mad King and how he had wild fire placed under a bunch of places and the Sept of Baylor was mentioned. Not easy stuff to pick up on tho! I didn't even remember it but noticed it in the previous reaction and thought it was cool. Pretty sure it was the previous episode, maybe the one before...

Spartans reaction to Cersei's coronation: *ugh yuck*
Meanwhile my reaction: *Cheering and Yelling* Long May She Reign!
Don't get me wrong, she's an awful person, no arguing that (which is why I love her) but she isn't the only one who doesn't have others do her work. Practically every character who isn't a warrior has others do their bidding for good or bad so I think that's an unfair assessment of the situation.
Her blowing up the Sept remains an all timer. My personal favourite scene of the entire series.

In the books, Rob left a will legitimizing Jon and making him his heir. So technically Jon is the rightful King in the North. But in regular Game of Thrones style, almost everyone who knew about the will was killed at the red wedding.

Re: Little Finger’s expression watching Sansa when Jon was named King of the North
Little Finger showed Sansa too many of the cards he held too close to his chest when he told her EVERY DECISION he made hinged on whether it would help him get on the iron throne with her at his side. She realized in that moment that him selling her to the Boltons was part of that plan, that he was willing to sacrifice her just shy of death just to secure the North for himself by having it rally around her and then marry her himself, just like he married Lysa for power.
Only a fool would trust Little Finger; Sansa is now certain that’s a fact, and is even willing to call her younger self a fool. That’s why she pushed him off this time and dismissed it as a “pretty picture.” She’s not his damned pawn or arm jewelry now, she’s disgusted by him.
But having spent so much time in King’s Landing, she knows how crucial it is to understand your enemies and how they think. So now that she knows his motives, she also knows that Little Finger will NOT see Jon being King in the North as a good thing for Little Finger to get what he wants.
She had a small, proud smile on her face in that scene where Jon became King in the North, because after all TO HER, Jon is a Stark, and she was surprised when he was having the Lord of Winterfell’s chambers prepared for her and said he should take them. That smile slides off when she looks at Little Finger and wonders what the hell he’s going to do now. That got me psyched for S7 almost as much as any other scene in this episode.

Now that this world has survived The War of Five Kings, I want to hear in an upcoming video how you predict they’ll fare what I think of as the War of Five Queens (that’s my head-canon until/when/if the books are ever finished, even if there’s already clear differences—for example, some of the queens seem willing to form alliances at this point instead of fight each other).
As of the end of this episode, you’ve got (in no particular order here):
1. The Queen of Thorns (Olena) for High Garden
2. Yara Greyjoy wanting to be Queen of the Iron Islands
3. Ellaria Sand overthrew Dorne (the men are called princes, I’m not sure if she’s going by princess or any title at all, but she’s essentially ruling Dorne now)
4. Queen Dany rocking into Westeros
5. Queen Cersai on the Iron Throne

Also, up until this point, who can really challenge her ? As far as Kings Landing goes, there's no one else but the Lannisters and as far as Cersei is concerned, the Tyrell's are obsolete and Dorne is a non factor. Dany is the only challenger and I'm sure Cersei has stayed in the know with what is going on over on that side. She's such a snake lol

Re: Jaime’s reaction to Cersei’s coronation, I didn’t interpret his expression as being upset she was taking the throne. He says to her in different seasons (including this one), “fuck everyone who isn’t us.” I think his face was upset because between seeing the smoke and then watching Cersai take the throne, he JUST REALIZED that this means TOMMEN IS DEAD. Cersai wouldn’t be coronated if Tommen was still alive. That’s a horrible moment for him.
And he found that out standing on the balcony shelf where the women of court usually stand (and where Cersai was standing when her son outlawed trial by combat), when Jaime was usually standing by the throne because he had been a king’s guard. We see him visually in a place where he is as powerless as he feels having failed to protect any of his children from their death fates. Then Cersai looks up and sees him (why was she looking where the women stand? It’s like she sensed him there or noticed a flash of his familiar armor) and gives him a look like, it really is just you and me now, no one else in the world matters.
As for how she can take the throne, just think of HotD. Having the symbols of power can signal authority and rights to that power just as much as birth-right can. If you LOOK like you SHOULD BE the ruler because you have the right symbols, and you have an army, people in this universe tend to roll with that until/if there’s a good challenger for that throne.

Ned never even told Cat about Jon, as much as it hurt their marriage in early days, and this is also why his multiple kids have commented that Ned NEVER talked about Lyanna. In S1E2 Ned’s last words to Jon *when Jon was leaving for the NW* was that next time Ned saw Jon, he’d tell Jon about his mother. He was ONLY willing to tell someone about his mother AFTER Jon had taken NW vows to hold no titles or lands, and father no children. Only AFTER Jon essentially renounced what it takes to be a player in the game of thrones did Ned feel it would be safe to tell the big secret.

Cersei didnt want Tommen to die. She sent the Mountain at his door to protect him ("Hold the Door!..."). Once her plan has worked out, the Mountain left because all their enemies were gone. Tommens Suicide was not part of her plan at all. Yet she was too arrogant to watch her enemies burn instead of being with her son in the Moment. If she was there, he never would have jumped.

And again: You are right about Cersei being a vile person, but sometimes you project even worse things into her character. For example: She didn't dupe Jaime to go take back Riverrun. Tommen commanded him to do so. And while you accuse Cersei of having everything done by other people, Daenerys does the same thing to almost the same extent, except killing the Khals. Note: I don't count letting her dragon burn things down while she sits on it as her doing something by herself. Though, I will not disagree with you guys that she is a bad person. However, I hope you realize that the Faith Militant (and the High Sparrow) are not a good option either :D

There’s a lot of symmetry to the deaths of the conspirators of the Red Wedding. Tywin Lannister dies being shot by a crossbow and Roose bolton dies with a stab to the belly, Robb Stark was shot by a crossbow and stabbed in the belly. Walder Frey dies getting his throat slashed, just like his son did to Catelynn Stark.

And while I agree with you that Cersei is disgusting, she barely had any other choice to burn down the Sept since Tommen betrayed her by banishing Trial by Combats. Furthermore, I think her plan was to rule over the 7 kingdoms through Tommen as the one sitting on the Iron Throne.

So Tywin Lannister, Rouoe Bolton and Walder Frey are all dead. Those were the conspirators of the red wedding. In Game Of Thrones good things come to those who wait and remember. I believe it was in 3x10 that Bran tells the story of the Rat Cook. That story is the inspiration for how Arya kills Walder Frey and his sons and makes it the ultimate poetic justice. We also found out that winter came and THE NORTH REMEMBERS ( had to put that in ).

If they haven't watched House of the Dragon, it would never cross their mind that Jon was Ned and Lyanas son, since the only incest they would have seen is Jamie and Cersei. It surprised me that they would even think something like that about Ned.

Not to mention it was Tommen who told him he had to leave in the first place. And I totally agree, I don’t think anyone who loves their children as fiercely as she does would anticipate her kid killing himself, even with the prophecy. She was resigned to it, but she wouldn’t have had the mountain keep him there if she weren’t at least trying to delay it.
All in all it’s beautiful foreshadowing when she tells Tywin “My last boy. Margaery will dig her claws in, you will dig your claws in and you'll fight over him like beasts until you rip him apart. I will burn our house to the ground before I let that happen”.

In my opinion the High Sparrow was a great mirror for Cersei. The only person who can put a villain such as Cersei in her place is someone who is just as egotistical. He’s so convinced that he’s pious, so fanatical, that he gets gorged on power to the point of not listening to Margery; and gets everyone killed thinking he’s beaten Cersei and won. But he doesn’t know Cersei. Anyone who knows Cersei would know that that would only make her more hateful and motivated. But I’m glad he’s gone. He was getting a little repetitive and Cersei’s villain arc is so enthralling. I love seeing her on the screen. Some of the best character writing I’ve ever read and seen.

bastards can be legitimized by decree of the king. and if a bastard takes the 7 kingdoms, he can effectively legitimize himself.
he can also take a new name, it's been done a few times in the Westerosi past where a hero bastard gained fame and property and retitled himself.
he is also king in the north already.
also, we don’t know whether Lyanna was married or not. we know Rhaegar’s wife and kids were killed by the Mountain. at this point we didn’t even know that Lyanna was pregnant, who is to say she didn’t get married to Rhaegar or even someone else and Rhaegar was just protecting her as a favor from being found out by Robert. we don’t know the specific timeline.

I hate Cersei too, but she didn't dupe Jaime by having him leave. Remember, she thought she would be able to choose trial by combat. It was only when she learned that wouldn't be possible that she decided to blow everyone up. And although she was pretty cold about Tommen's death (like you said, probably because she was expecting it at some point), I don't think she planned for him to kill himself. She was dressing for violence, not necessarily in anticipation of her own coronation.

not at all.
for one, Cersei kills people for vengeance, in pleasure or to maintain her fleeting grip on power. she doesn’t care about the people she rules. it’s never done to better other people or the realm.
Dany killed the witch who killed Khal Drogo and rose from the fire.
Dany directly outmaneuvered the master in Astapor, gaining 8k unsullied using only her dragons (which are an extension of her power.) she then gave the unsullied the choice to be free or follow her. something Cersei would never do.
Dany escapes the house of the undying herself.
Dany locks up and kills Xaros in the vault for betraying her.
Dany escapes the daznak fighting pit by riding her dragon away.
Dany killed all the Khals at the Temple and rose from the fire.
Dany rides her drago and destroys the masters ships.
Dany breaks chains to build a better world for her people. and people help her and fight for her because they believe in her and because she fights for them. not comparable at all to Cersei.

I’ve realized that Spartan & Pudgey just don’t like or can’t even appreciate any outright villains. They hate Azula in avatar just as much even tho she’s one of the most beloved animated villains

I don't understand why is it so hard for some people to appreciate Cersei's character. I also used to hate her but this season made me fucking love her. Yes, she is evil and a terrible person, but that is the point of her character arch, she is THE villain of the show. Not Joffrey, not Ramsay, not even the Night King added that much game to the plot. What is a story of epic heroes without an epic villain? I'm definitely not team Cersei but I can enjoy a good villain. Now Cersei's self proclamation as queen is the last step to set her up to be the final boss of the game of thrones.

she’s played the better than anyone, and did so without murder or malice. she got to the top using wit, manipulation and cunning intellect, but was never cruel about it. Margaery and Olenna sought to sow power through seduction and marriage alliances.
that’s the diff between her/Olenna and Cersei. she only lost because she was unwilling to go to the lengths that Cersei was. she was also the only one who realized Cersei’s plan, just a little too late. because she has the ability to think 10 steps ahead.
and she was also beloved by the people, something the recent Targaryens, the Baratheons and the Lannisters never really achieved.

Cersei is by far the best villain in the show and she's legit one of the best written characters in TV. The idea that "she never does anything herself" can be used to describe most of the smartest characters in GOT. Making plans and giving orders to get rid of your enemies is just as good as fighting against them in battle. Cersei blowing up the sept to beat the High Sparrow is equal to Jon leading his army against Ramsey.

This is my favorite episode of the series. It just keeps on delivering on every storyline in the most compelling and gratifying ways.
I have to say Tommen’s death was completely shocking to me. I was not expecting it at all. The lack of music, the way he removes his crown, and then the matter-of-fact way he just walks out the window. It seems it was the first and only decision he ever made all on his own. So sad. And Cersei couldn’t be bothered to stop wine-boarding Septa Unella long enough to check on him or comfort him after his wife was just killed BY HER!
So glad you guys finally reached this one. Great reaction!

Littlefinger is the one who introduces the idea of “the Game of Thrones.” his ultimate goal is to win the game, and sit the throne.
• when Sansa asks him what he wants after jeoffrry’s murder, he says, “everything.”
•Varys said, “he (LF) would see the country burn if he could be king of the ashes.”
• then also, his convo with Varys: "Do they all bow to you, when you picture yourself on the throne?" LF: "It's very difficult to bow when you don't have a head." when LF asked Varys, Varys says he doesn’t want the throne, he serves the Realm.
•then the famous, “Chaos is a ladder” speech: “Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse; they cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real; the climb is all there is.”
•Back in season one LF talked about his love for Catelyn Stark and the many humiliations he's suffered at the hands of the great lords of Westeros. “You know what I learned losing that duel? I learned that I’ll never win. Not that way. That’s their game, their rules. I’m not going to fight them, I’m going to f*ck them. That’s what I know, that’s what I am. And only by admitting what we are can we get what we want.” “And what do you want?” “Everything my dear, everything there is.”
When LF leaves Sansa with Ramsey he mentions to Lord Bolton: "The last time when the lords of the Eyrie formed an alliance with the lords of the North, they brought down the greatest dynasty this world has ever known.”
•LF controls the Vale, he is Lord of Harenhal (largest castle in the Riverlands, so he has partial control, and he could push Sansa’s claim to the Riverlands since her mother is House Tully), and in the books he is Lord paramount of the Riverlands, with Sansa he would control the North. he also has an underhand alliance with Olenna Tyrell, they murdered the king together, he could press for her to back him with the Reach, and now that Olenna is seeking revenge (he doesn’t know about Dorne/Tyrell/Targaryen alliance yet) he could and no one is ruling in the Stormlands since House Baratheon is basically extinct after Stannis’ death. all that would be left would be Kings Landing, the Westerlands (Casterly Rock) and Dorne.

The words jon said to sansa "we cant fight a war amongst ourselves" are the same words that ned says to arya in season 1 in the scene where he finds her in her room with needle, even the kiss on the forehead. Cersei should have accepted Ned's deal after he found out the truth and ran off with her bastard children.

I understand your hatred for Cersei. I felt the same way for so long. But she's such a fascinating character; she starts out as this guy's evil wife who is kinda annoying, doesn't seem like she'd be around very long, let alone a major antagonist and a point of view character. This is a place and time where women didn't have much power. She was forced into marrying someone she didn't know and tried to make the best of it and he was a drunk who ignored her and cheated on her constantly. So much of her life wasn't up to her and she truly was mentally ill. I'm not defending her evil actions but if you look at things from her paranoid insane perspective, she was always trying to protect her family. It's just that she can't see past her own selfishness and fear and hatred and the choices she makes are terrible. The High Sparrow and his Faith Militant rising to power and the Tyrells hating her, all of this is entirely 100 percent Cersei's fault. And yet I can't deny watching that scene where she blows all of her enemies to hell in one stroke with a certain admiration and satisfaction. Handing the horrible Shame Septa over to Ser Gregor to be slowly raped to death is too much and it's too much for a reason; to show us that Cersei is evil. You say she doesn't actually do things herself but this is her way of fighting, much as it is Tyrion's. To summarize, I'm not defending Cersei's character or actions but she's legitimately one of my top ten characters from tv shows at this point due to how well written and how magnificently acted she is. Meanwhile you have Jaime, who killed the Mad King because he was burning people alive, staring at her in horror because she's now burning people alive. The one person she has left and she is starting to alienate him because of how toxic she is. Everything she does is bad for her. The writing is genius.

Just because Littlefinger once said he didn't want the throne doesn't make it true lmao the dude lies all the time. He's always wanted the throne and the most power, everything he has done so far is in service of gaining the throne/power.

Remember the convo between Littlefinger and Varys in the throne room where Littlefinger said he had counted the swords? That's the scene when they basically confirmed that Littlefinger wants the throne (so since season 3, I believe). This episode is just wild, I get shivers every time regardless of how many times I've seen it.

My favorite episode and probably my favorite to watch reactions to because just SO MUCH happens. Also the music from this episode (and the series as a whole) is immaculate.
Also, not that I don’t agree with a lot of what you’re saying but it’s funny that you keep mentioning you hate the fact that Cersei always has others fight her battles for her and never deals with people one on one but you never apply that to Dany. Daenerys just has a bit of magic on her side with the dragons and fire and whatnot but she’s always had others do her fighting for her as well. I’m definitely team Targaryen but yeah, just find that interesting.

One of the best episodes of this show - ever. This is how you give the viewers a true pay off and, if the show must continue, you will also give the viewers some awesome cliffhangers and that's what they exactly gave us in this episode.
Now with S1-S6 behind us I can finally say what think of those things that I hated:
How dorky and crinchy is the sisters in Dorne? (or evertything in Dorne except prince Oberyn). It doesn't feel like GOT... it feels like... I don't know maybe some crap from shows like Fear Of the Walking Dead LOL.
How random and uninteresting is Euron? In a show where everything was so well-written they give us Euron?? LOL x2.
If it wasn't for your great reactions I would be done here.

Littlefinger has always wanted the throne Spartan, every move he's made in the series is in service of climbing the ladder to power. He improvises and adapts a lot, because he recognises that "chaos is a ladder", but he has always had a goal.
He went from a no one from the Fingers to a customs officer in the Vale, to master of coin, to Lord of Harrenhal, then to Lord Regent of the Vale (effectively Warden of the East). His motivation for marrying Sansa off and helping to take Winterfell was to secure the north.

What Lyanna whispered to Ned was "if Robert finds out, he'll kill him - you know he will." And no, Pudgey, its not Ned's son 😂😂
Even if the Starks got down like that the timing wouldn't work out: remember Rhaegar taking Lyanna is what sparked the entire war, and it wasn't until after the war that Ned found her.
Pudgey is 100% right though, they have been paralleling Jon and Dany's storylines: the story is A Song of Ice and Fire, and both of them are central to these themes.
