I hate what they did with smalljon Umber...the ymbers were the ost loyal stark house in the books and smalljon was robbs personal bodyguard,,,he was a man you dont mess with. Umbers were knows to beat the crap outta any wulding...Tormund stood n o chance

Mark Laniel

Jon rushes into certain death: "IDIOT!" Ramsay decides not to rush into certain death: "Coward" I mean, I get you hate him, but keep it straight 😂

Linus Marjeta

I couldn't wait for you guys to drop this reaction on youtube so I than knew what I had to do and you guys didn't disappoint your reactions was awesome LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Jason_Todd

Would they have sat back there the whole time while the battle went on. He rode after rickon and only went forward when arrows were headed right at him. Troops would have died anyway. Perhaps Jon would have had a different battle plan had he knew the knights of the vale were in reserve

Ratj620

This episode was why it will always be eff Sansa for me. She continually yelled at Jon that they needed more men to fight even though they all had exhausted all options. That dumb bitch had The Knights Of The Vale in her pocket and never said a damn thing, for what? Just to be the hero? That heffa could’ve gotten Jon killed. They would’ve had a different battle strategy had Jon knew the Vale would be fighting alongside him.

Virgogrl

Mind you, Jon abandoned his own battle plan when he ran recklessly into the fight, therefore forcing those Wildlings to run after him and die. Sansa not revealing the Vale had zero impact on Jon's loss, because they had nothing to do with his plan. Jon lost the battle with his own actions, Sansa had nothing to do with it.

connie

This episode makes Sansa a straight up villain. She knew the knights of the vale were coming and she let hundreds of wildlings die needlessly, just because she didn't trust Jon. She is heartless and self centered.

Nick Luce

PUDGEY DONT TAKE IT FROM HIM!!!! targaryen and stark loyalty is where i lie too haha. ❤️

kallista

Great reaction, catching up myself. I think Sansa didn't tell Jon about the Vale army because she was hoping his would be decimated, hence having the larger army herself once they retake winter fell.

Juan

smalljon umber was the guy kicking tormunds ass. Had it not been for the distraction he would have won too. No way tormund can fight the smalljon. in the books smalljon ko's guys with a leg of mutton ffs.

Mark Laniel

the action and set pieces yes...not always the writing. Thats why the rains of castamere is the best. It was the best book chapter and the show was still written in large part along with the books.

Mark Laniel

it was great the season 3 is the best. It meant the whole show got kicked off into orbit and became the phenomenon that it was. Everything that was happeneing here is partly because of episode 9 in season 3.plus the writing was still better for that episode than this one. Yes the action here was great, but the red wedding episode had the dreadful slow burning suspense of doom you could just feel it. Plus the writing of the show at that time was still on point from the books, and in the books, that was the best chapter.

Mark Laniel

dude…loved the reaction😭!

Cece

Just upgraded tiers and I am VIBRATING with excitement. Just had to get that off my chest, but now LETS GOOOOOOO

girl gal

Jon likely has the best big brother's vengeful asskicking scene of all time. For everything this Ramsey and his family did to his he just let the men of his family scream through his fists. If it wasn't for Sansa, he wouldve beat Ramsey into hamburger.

Darth Sckolar

I just wanted to comment on something Spartan said awhile back about Ramsey. He said something to the effect that Ramsey was built up to take over as the villain after Joffrey. And I think he is right on target with that. From the book perspective almost every character is somewhere on the scale between black and white. There are very few truly black or white characters in this universe. The books appear to be set up in a typical three act structure. And in my opinion, there is a major human villain in each of those acts that is totally irredeemable. And for each act the villain is even worse than the one before them. In the first act, it was Joffrey. In the second act, it was Ramsey. As far as the third act, the major human villain from the books was just totally dumbed down in the television series. And that’s all I’ll say about that. So no spoilers. Just an encouragement that there is more to this in the books. And then on top of the major human villain, you have the existential magical threat of the White Walkers. This is definitely one of the major themes of the book series, how the humans are wasting their time and energy fighting each other when they should be seeing the larger threat on the horizon.

Blackeyedlily

I've been waiting for this reaction. It's my favorite episode in Game of Thrones and it has my favorite large scale battle in all of film and television.

RuinedX

I mean this in the nicest way, but sometimes I just wish you guys would stop guessing what’s about to happen!! You guys guess so many things right, it blows my mind that this is your first watch through and you’ve caught on to so much that I didn’t catch until a couple a times watching later. Love your reactions, I am in a constant giggle state while watching!!

Amber Mary

literally laughed out loud

Julie

Just epic . What an episode!

Stannis loves grammar.

Need that episode 10!

Kaden

Not entirely privy to all that but I think a part of it is they have just onboarded some editors and due to that being a new system, giving them the video, them editing them, checking them to make sure they fall in line with their editing style, and some other things going on in the background I think there is a little bit of delay right now but it should be over soon and once things are in the groove things should be snappier with that editing help. Don't worry same amount of vids per week as far as reactions in general go. There is no content reduction for the week.

SuddenImpulse

@Sudden do you know what’s with the delay?

Mzuka

No promises but most likely it will be tomorrow based on what they have said.

SuddenImpulse

Could be today or tomorrow (Thursday). Last upload was Sunday night and the intervals are typically anywhere between two to four days.

Julien

They don’t really have an official one, but it’s typically 2 episodes of GOT and ATLA a week but uncut get posted as soon as possible for the Demi God tier whenever they have time to film. Since the have editors now, it seems the timeline is slightly different in upload times and what not than what is was previously.

Christopher

I think thursday.

DrückebergerTV

could someone inform me with their uploading schedule? when should we expect 6x10

Abdulrahman Alothman

This was your last episode 9. By far the best of them all.

Paul Marigliano

I would say the Winds of Winter is the best episode, the S6 Finale

Liam Usery

If you notice behind the masters you can actually see Drogon flying towards them from far away before he makes his grand entrance!

Tyler Janes

Absolutely, this episode has the best battle sequence in the series. When Jon was getting trampled, I swear I was about to have an anxiety attack the first time I watched it lol. So freakin epic. I loved watching your reactions, and Pudgey crying lol, Spartan fanboying the whole time, this was such a great reaction! Love you guys!

Ailene Evangelista

Re: y'alls t-shirts I respect Spartan being a Stark loyalist from day one... still love you though Pudgey lol.

Ailene Evangelista

Salty book purists are just mad annoying. There is no denying that GoT 6x9 and 6x10 are masterpieces of TV, just doesn't get any better than that.

Mango Maniac

Just so you know, both this episode and episode 10 of this season, are some of the highest rated episodes in the history of television. Both episodes are great. Everyone loves them, except a few book readers who are mad GRRM still hasn't finished the books.

Marcell

This is one of the best episodes of the entire show ....end of ,you guys need to watch the series they made on the making of the show ,it shows how this was filmed its great 👍 👌 you get a real insight to how much time work and money it takes take this kind of TV

LEE PARKER

This is hands-down the best GoT episode. One of the best episodes of television, really. It made me cry, it brought me joy. It even made me claustrophobic.

Amanda Theriault

I'm so glad you guys felt the emotion of this episode. Many ppl regard it as the best episode of TV, period. The director won multiple awards for this ep. But something to look forward to (the same guy directed the next one) probably my personal favourite episode. Buckle up for E10!

Eve Griffin

I'vw said it before and I'll say it again, "THE NORTH REMEMBERS". I can't wait to see your next reaction.

David

@Julien: There are ways to be subtle about it, you know, if they wanted to add something (at any point of the series, I'd be happy to keep the death as it is if more was added elsewhere). I hate that they didn't give Rickon much character, and I definitely would have wanted more. Jon/Sansa is not a good comparison in my opinion since the audience got to know the two characters as individuals, care about them more deeply, which basically makes the reunion emotional as we have witnessed their journeys and know what a reunion with a family member must feel like for the two of them personally, even if we haven't seen them together at all.

S.

This is the episode I have been waiting for you to see. This is by far my favourite of the whole series (that's my personal opinion not intended as a spoiler) I agree with spartan the BOTB is the best battle scene I've seen across any film/TV show. It captures so much. And I recommend you watch the behind the scenes in the filming of this battle as it really does leave you in awe of the impeccable work that went into it. Love the reaction you never disappoint! Looking forward to the next! 😁

YamYam777

"He RAN for the wardrobe.."😆😆😆" that episode title gave Spartan such a dramatic vibe check 😆😆

Bonny Knoxville

I like the expediency. It's infinitely better than whatever Hollywood cliché the writers would have conjured up otherwise. The brotherly bonds you speak of don't need to be spelled out. We know the Starks. We've watched Rickon and Bran travel for a whole season. We know the love. None of this needs to be spelled out in some artificial scene. It is precisely because the show has done a tremendous job of getting the Starks' siblings bond across that the Jon/Sansa reunion was so moving - even though they'd literally never interacted in the show before. Similarly, viewers 100% get how Jon & Sansa feel about Rickon and vice versa. None of this needs to be spelled out. Last, Sansa and many viewers immediately marked Rickon for death the moment he showed up in Ramsey's clutches. The writers wisely didn't try and fuck around w that.

Julien

We made it through 🙏🏿

Mzuka

I hate that they didn't give Rickon lines this season - his death would have been heartbreaking if he had called out for Jon before getting hit, and/or Jon to him, and have the brotherly bond showing more.

S.

On my first watch when Jon was being crushed, I had to leave the room because I felt like I couldn’t breathe. You really do feel like you’re in it with him. I still think it’s one of best examples of the utter chaos of battle. It’s incredibly well-directed and it’s just so damn satisfying to watch. *Chef’s kiss*

Shay

XD “don’t go in a straight line” . They made it

Betty Alice

LMFAO @ Spartan running to change into his Stark shirt after finding out it's the Battle of the Bastards 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gam Mac

And this is one of my other top 5’s lol. Your guys reaction is exactly how I felt . I also love war movies, and I remember thinking “that was the best battle scene ive ever scene”.

Betty Alice

Lmao

MattyK

@dontdrinktheluminol I also think people genuinely like hate watching things. Someone told me once that they love to hate watch things and then complain about it with other people. Which for me, seems like a strange way to choose to spend your time that's already more than likely so limited due to life's everyday responsibilities. But to each their own I guess lol

kelly

I sometimes foolishly hope they’ll see a comment that makes them Get It for why others still like the show so much. For example, if a character is “badly written” in a later season and acts “out of character,” maybe somebody will make a comment that explains WHY that character is different now. (Hint to any such reader of this comment: if they’re in a situation they’d never imagined before, OR if they’re recently traumatized, they might act differently. That’s not bad writing, that’s good writing.) But them “getting it now” would require open minds, ergo my hope is foolish.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

First time I saw this episode I was actually shaking when it was done. So intense!

Brad Johnson

You know Matt, i’ve really come to look forward to your comments every week to see how little you understand this story and these characters, and how you will manage to blame it on the writers. It’s very entertaining how passionately wrong you are without fail every single episode.

Cam

You seem to be getting very riled up by this lol. "Tormund and Davos having just got done polishing their fucking plot armor." Huh? If you consider that plot armor, then you must be also have a problem with "plot armor" for the earlier seasons.

SuddenImpulse

All the zigzag memes from this episode 😂🤣 but also it’s super sad. We just never get a chance to develop an emotional attachment so it’s a bit easier to handle his death as opposed to Ned or Rob.

KatDorroughMusic

Sansa has a whole outburst about not being consulted and then when she is consulted she says the most obvious battle plans and then WITHHOLDS CRUCIAL BATTLE PLAN INFORMATION. Jon was only rushing into battle because he believed there were no other houses to recruit, had Sansa fucking told him about Little Fingers army they could’ve waited another day to meet up with them instead of them coming in after a majority of the army has been killed. She sits on that hill smug as shit thinking she did good when she got her little brother killed and thousands of men. Oh and not to mention Jo, Tormund and Davos having just got done polishing their fucking plot armor. The writers are fucking hackjobs who can’t write anything coherently so they just say look at your fav characters and pretty set pieces.

Matt

This video was posted 3 days ago so it's likely that they have already watched the finale. That's good news with regard to anticipatory and spoilery comments 🔥

Julien

Lol. This is nowhere near my favorite episode but I knew 100% (as noted well above) that Spartan (and it turns out Pudgey) would ADORE this. It is 100% the payoff they've been waiting for, including as expressed in this very episode. That alone makes it so so so much fun regardless of whatever misgivings I may have with the episode! Unfortunately, a lot of people watch reactions (and also just shows) to see their beliefs *validated*. That's why they endless feel to need to point out issues. "It feels good when my reactors agree with me that this is shit," basically. Which is so odd because for me and many others here, it's really "it feels good when my reactors are having a blast." Many of us would never dream of ruining that. But also and unfortunately, many crave this very thing. Bizarre.

Julien

My thoughts exactly. And then being upset that people don't share those same sentiments. Odd behavior.

kelly

I have been waiting for you two to watch these last two episodes so long. You reaction to Ramseys beating and eating was what I hoped for! On to episode 10!

LadyV437

We need merch that says “old gods, new gods, left gods, right gods…. Please 🙏”

Cam

I just KNEW Jon beating the crap out of Ramsay will be like a Christmas present for Spartan

Raluca Bolontoc

Agreed. It’s kinda concerning?

Cam

this is your best reaction so far, can't wait for the season finale i hope it's these days

Tome M

You guys are really cracking me up lately 😂

walder slayyyyy

exactly, not just watching, but PAYING to watch, which is even more hilarious...like if they are not satisfied with episodes like, why watch reactors of the show...

Tome M

I really have to question why some people are watching reactions to content they apparently hate so much lmao. I think a better solution would be therapy.

SuddenImpulse

The flayed people on fire were probably placed there to scare Bolton's own men as much as Jon's, I reckon.

S.

Amazing episode. Until you have time to properly think about it.

Roy Koopa

Episode looked great but logically makes little sense.

Shawn Brink

Also--the giant's name is Wun-Wun.

Rachel Taylor

I had never seen a battle scene prior to this where I actually couldn't breathe. The cinematography is off the charts on this one. One of the best GoT episodes ever!

Rachel Taylor

Yeah his actor doesn’t get nearly enough credit! That was some amazing work.

Erika Bade

So the director of this episode, Miguel Sapochnik, was the same that directed the epic episode last season, Hardhome, with the big battle between Jon and the WWs. These episodes, as well as the final one this season, which he also directed, made him a fan favorite director and eventually he went on to be a show runner for House of the Dragon (now he has since bowed out). There are so many amazing shots in the battle, like you guys pointed out, but even some of the low key ones were amazing. One of my favorites was the shot of Davos at the pyre, holding the stag, with the sunrise behind him, his cape blowing in the wind. I even made that image my desktop background for a while! In a way it was nice that Tyrion called out Theon for his past crimes. Even for those of us that are more sympathetic to him, it’s important to remember some of the shit he did and that a bad and confusing childhood doesn’t excuse it.

Erika Bade

Ramsay is SO GOOD at playing ultra creepy. When he says, “Hello, Sansa,” from the kennels, it reminds me of Sir Anthony Hopkins playing Hannibal Lecter saying, “Hello, Clarice,” in The Silence of the Lambs.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

Ramsay was the best villain of the entire show. And this was the best battle and episode up to this point in the Story.

DrückebergerTV

YES. Taken out by the dogs named for the girls he massacred (and he’s the one who gave those dogs a taste for human flesh), at the order of the wife he tortured and tried to break. This is why it’s so damned satisfying to me that Sansa, not Theon, was the one responsible for executing Ramsay.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

Yea , true. I just wish they had garrisoned a different fort than Most Calin, since that was very clearly held by the Boltons at the end of s4. But whatever .... I still stick by my opinions on the script (mid tier imo) and the episode as a whole (masterpiece)

Ietseatapples

Lolll I never noticed the Little Sam thing before. Fucking hilarious. Three and a half season!

Julien

Been waiting for this, and the Door, for some time. The banter was amazing at the beginning of this episode too, you all killed it! I love the work you put into making these reactions not only entertaining, but active! That shot of Jon accepting his fate, and fighting til the end— with the horses bearing down on him… one of the best shots of anything I’ve ever seen

MattyK

I still remember this episode won a couple of emmys a couple of years ago, and well deserved

midothegreat

Shout out to Drogon and whatever beef cake diet he was going to town on across the narrow sea. The last time these masters saw the dragons in season 3, they fought over a piece of meat Danny tossed and were smaller than she was. There’s no way they could have guessed how huge Drogon would have gotten in 3 seasons. Also, shout out to Grey Worm killing 2 men with 1 knife slash after 1 man was supposed to be killed. Every time I see that, I think of him saying, “I make joke.” Fun bit to look for on your re-watch: when Greg Worm goes to kill a master or two, Tyrion faces away. He can’t watch violence and I love him for that in this universe. (Unrelated: And then there’s Little Sam, who we haven’t even seen walk in three seasons. I adore this show, I’m crazy about this season, I’m a proud fan whether we’re on or off book source material… but seriously, what the heck is wrong with that poor child’s stunted growth?)

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

Anyone else remember the "Zig Zag Rickon" iPhone game?

Katie Thomas

100% agreed. Jon says he wanted to get the measure of Ramsay, make him mad, and have his army coming at Jon’s. Ramsay wanted the same things for himself, and got them. Every time Ramsay said, “you’re good” or acted impressed, it was an act. He was already playing with Jon.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

I’d have been really pissed at Jon for fucking up all their battle plans after they laid out how crucial it was to have the patience and let the Bolton army come to THEM, and not get stuck in a pincer move. Jon’s hot-headedness running into Ramsay’s trap got a lot more people killed than needed to die. Jon said he wanted to get Ramsay angry and coming at him at full force, but Ramsay wanted the same thing and was much better at it. Yes, Jon is an inspiration and inspires loyal followers, and he’s a badass weapon. But this was NOT a good moment for anybody who’d been in that war council tent and knew the plan.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

One of the best episodes. There will be more... =)

Rainbow

I was so hyped for this reaction and you guys did not disappoint. It is up there in the top 5 episodes of the show for me, possibly the top 3. Jon and the cavalry, Dany and Yara, and Sansa and Ramsay at the end. Perfection.

Nicole Herd

I doubt there is a single person who complains about the post-book part of the show that would agree that this is the best season.

Mzuka

Arguably the best episode of the entire series and maybe the best season of the whole show. for all the people who complain about post book part of the show, it says a lot that the best season of the show is one right after the last book. great reaction per usual. you are in for a treat on episode 10 as well.

Leroy

In the books Ramsay names his dogs after the girls he hunts and lets his dogs devour. The girls who give him a good hunt he names his dogs after them. So it would be fitting if he gets taken out by his own dogs named after the girls he massacred.

Ratj620

Finally watched the whole thing. Probably the best reaction to this episode I've ever seen. And the lengthy chat at the end 🤌. You two are the best.

Julien

Yes!! So excited you guys loved this episode. By far my favourite episode of the whole series, the Starks come through ❤️

Ghostcat

Speak for yourself and let the haters hate on the show. I'm still salty and I will always be salty about certain aspects.

IcySystem

Seeing the Stark banner drape over the walls again was so pleasing to see.

Jenny Tolls

This episode is a masterpiece! Glad y’all loved it. One of the best of the whole series. Starks took the North back, baby!

Eddie House

Now you know why season 6 is a favorite! ITS INSANE!

Destinee Yang

Multiple house loyalty is okay!

AG

Just to point something out, when Ramsay was asking Jon to hand over Sansa and surrender and kneel, he wasn't being an idiot. He knows Jon isn't gonna do that. He was just trying to get inside their heads and piss them off to make them rattled. That's why he kept addressing Jon as a bastard, even though Ramsay is a bastard himself. Everything he said in that scene was Ramsay trying his best to get underneath their skins.

Jenny Tolls

Imagine being in Jon's army, seeing your commander facing down a fucking cavalry charge by himself. No wonder they got to him in time and fought as well as they did - what a leader Jon Snow is.

James K

Same. And it is infinitely better than the countless insufferable zig zag quotes I've invariably heard over the years (Not sure if from Monty Python or SNL or some other sketch/comedy thing). Everyone who quotes that movie/show thinks they're being original. 🤦‍♂️

Julien

idk if I would go that far, but definitely some nice growth for her.

SuddenImpulse

I mean they have lol, this is one of the top 3 episodes of the series if you ask anyone

Rekway

Raella was pregnant with Dany when the Mad King died.

Elvira Heredia

Sansa´s smile at the end of the episode is just the same as Cersei's. Sansa is a master at the game of thrones now. She won the battle of the bastards.

Elvira Heredia

Such amazing directing by him. This was insane in all the best ways.

AG

"Dreams Came True" I told you going was worth it.

Fran Navarro

Adding this halfway through, anyone who wasn’t already in love with Jon probably fell in love now. What a man, and yes, what a fucking weapon, that shot of him alone facing the oncoming cavalry is *chef’s kiss* one of the best shots of the entire series.

AG

You guys haven't seen anything yet. Awesome reaction and analysis

entendencia

This episode is so beautifully directed and scored. Love the Dany intro and Bastard Bowl was an incredible spectacle. That long shot of Jon on the ground...I knew Spartan would freak! It can never be one of my favourites cause of the writing - I don't like what this episode did to Sansa and Jon's character - she really could have just told him about the Knights of the Vale and the writers should have been smart enough to create conflict within those parameters. Jon behaved uncharacteristically foolishly here, but it was such a rollercoaster all the same. Great to see Ramsay get his just deserts. Next episode is a banger!

Mzuka

This episode won the Emmy award for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Writing. It obviously deserved it. This is one of the most epic episodes of TV in history. And nothing is better than the moment the Bolton banners drop and the Stark banners are returned to the walls of Winterfell. Just amazing. And it was a Melbourne-based video effects company named Iloura that did the effects for it. And let's pour one out for Wun Wun the giant. He gave his all.

John Neiberger

lets gooooooooooooo!!!!!

Augustine Lee

This episode was directed by Miguel Sapochnik. He is a brilliant director. He also directed Hardhome. He did such a great job that they made him one of the show runners for House of the Dragon. Brilliant episode.

Farbod

You guys should wear the shirts for the next seasons finales. It looks so cool 👍👍

Danny

Ohh let’s gooooo!!!!

Busang

All these years later and people are still twisted up over plot holes and such lol Let it go folks. Its whatever atp,and this was a great episode. Entertaining and a really fun time to watch with friends. No such thing as perfect and trying to make complete fiction make absolute sense is a wasted effort. I am just happy that Pudgey and Spartan had a great time and enjoyed it. They reacted exactly how I figured they would, which was with total delight and that's really what we are all here for. Unfortunately, around the later seasons is when the fandom is their most insufferable. Its all good though. Have fun, and I am excited for episode 10!

kelly

Cant wait I think next episode is even better

Alex

The John Snow one shot meaning the camera never cut was epic. You have to rewatch it.

SnorlaX

Yeah I wish they had done a better job writing this episode in a way that's not as Hollywoodic. It was a bit easy to know what's gonna happen - not that it took away the excitement of seeing it actually happen for a first watcher. But if it were a bit better written, it would have come as the best episode in television history.

HDN

Ok i’ll probably add to this since i just started watching but Pudgey is allowed to rep more than one house, Spartan!! I’m a proud Stargaryen supporter. We can be loyal to multiple houses in this universe.

AG

Sure but Tyrion has always had a soft spot for the Starks and as far as he knows, Theon betrayed them and killed Bran and Rickon. Definitely would not make him inclined to give Theon a warm welcome.

Cam

Maybe it's just me, but I think this might be Spartan's favorite battle of the show...

Christian Stewart

I actually think this is an example of how a lot of the technical talent (directors, fight choreographers, prosthetics, cgi work, etc) took a rather mediocre script and elevated it into one of the greatest episodes in the history of television. I say mediocre cuz there are a lot of plot holes if you begin to think about things like... how did Littlefinger garrison Moat Calin, the most important strategic fortress in the North, for weeks/months with no one finding out.. he had to have had some skirmishes/battles in order to take it over, he would've had soliders foraging the north for food/supplies.... Theres other issues too, but no need to dwell... The battle sequences, the dialogue, the drama, the gritty realism... just mesmerizing and beyond what anyone thought a TV show could ever pull off. The best part for me is how Jon seemed to survive the battle by pure luck.... They didn't go for the hollywood trope of making the battle choreographed and "pretty"... It was a giant clusterfuck of mayhem and carnage,.. 100/10 episode

Ietseatapples

there are alot more things in this episode that doesn't make any sense, definitely a beautiful top notch cinematographic episode , but also by far the most overrated episode of the show. It is one of those that you really appreciate with the first viewing but when you watch it again and actually put some thoughts into what is happening , it is not that great.

Velcon

I was too. Then I realized I could see what time it is in Sydney Australia where they are. It was the middle of the night there. So I knew it wouldn’t be until morning. They have been pretty good about posting around 9–11 am on a Monday morning their time, which is what time this was. They seemed to be working Monday-Friday. For example, Sunday at 8:50 pm Central Standard Time is Monday at 11:50 am where they are.

I❤️movies&tvshows

also if you go back to the episode where tyrion and theon meet in winterfell, theon is actually pretty nice to tyrion and tyrion is a complete ass to theon hmm

kkoe

Spartan praying to the gods of the east and west. 🤣🤣🤣

Nathan

Pudgey’s “what’s with all this straight line business” made me LOL

Cam

It was Lord Umber that Tormund fought and killed not Lord Karstark. I thought the same thing the first time I watched this scene. But then realized it was the Umbers that gave Rickon to Ramsay after watching it a second time.

I❤️movies&tvshows

I have never seen Spartan so happy in my entire life. He literally could not stop smiling from ear to ear for Danny and later Jon. This reaction was so epic you guys, thank you!!!

Cam

I love the fact that it is a Mormont shield Jon uses when he confronts Ramsay in the Winterfell courtyard. It’s those details that make this show awesome to me. ❤️

I❤️movies&tvshows

love this episode, awesome reaction! one thing that's always killed me though, I've never seen someone provide a good reason why Sansa hides the knights of the vale from jon. he straight up asks what he should do differently this episode and earlier he asks when they'll have more men and she says nothing. I get that maybe rickon would be a lost cause either way, but if jon goes into negotiations and battle plans the day before knowing he truly has the bigger army, so many lives could have been saved. interested to see if anyone here has a different take!

kkoe

amazing

Pudgey, here’s a loophole for your house t-shirts: you’re a woman. Cat was loyal to her house of birth, House Tully, and to her house by marriage, House Stark. :)

YES! The way he drops his scabbard & belt to the ground, expecting he'll never need them again as he accepts his fate. Jon Snow facing the cavalry alone is such an iconic moment, so emotional. 11/10

Once you finish the series I definitely recommend watching the behind the scenes footage for this episode. The Winterfell battle took 8 weeks to film, it's a technical masterpiece. Will never forget the night it aired, holy shit the fandom was absolutely SPEECHLESS. In our house we were feeling all the emotions! After 6 long seasons of pure punishment for the Starks it felt great to see them win. The Meereen portions were epic as well. Such an amazing episode! I think it's perfect.

The shot of Jon squaring up to the cavalry in the middle of the field, with Ned's armor on, ready to fight to the death. It was absolutely amazing.

Bro rickon is a damn kid. Wtf you expect him to do. He was a damn toddler when his parents died and was much older when he was sent away from Bran. Idk that is triggering me so much lol
