Game of Thrones Uncut Reaction S6 E7

Game of Thrones Uncut Reaction S6 E7 'The Broken Man'

Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.

Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.

Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.

These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Comments

Robb didnt fail anyone...Theon did.

Mark Laniel

ahh okay. i haven’t seen it asked or seen an answer. i just know they’re insightful when it comes to the plot so i’m assuming they will understand by the end of s6.

kallista

That question has been asked a lot .. The answer is the same .. No ..they wont watch anything related to that .. at least before S7 ends

MeanAngel

kallista

hopefully they have book reactions and/or overall discussions on the books.

reegs21

This is uncut, you are supposed to sync your own version with their video. They never have sound from the episode in the uncut.

Cam

@sudden *very long, slow clapping* (Still long slow clapping. Assume this goes on until right before it’s uncomfortably long, but stops before that.)

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

I am having an issue with sound sometimes it works and other times I can only hear you two but not the sound from the episode..any suggestions?

Corbyndallas

They have told us they plan to read the books after they finish the show. =)

SuddenImpulse

i really implore you both to read the books. There is so much more to the houses of the north and their allegiances. I won't say any more due to potential spoilers, but in your free time please read the books if you can.

reegs21

Ya might wanna get seatbelts for those chairs. The pace from here on out is a whole new level!

Rachel Taylor

It's based on experience as I explained in the super strange comment. But I'm glad you had an opportunity to get that out 👍

Julien

Yeah...she really hates Arya lol. Added that twist in at the end too.

SuddenImpulse

This isn’t the first cold open.

N_JR

"this is the hard shift from story to spectacle, why didn’t jon try to offer the house sword back to the Mormonts now that he is not bound to the watch and in the face of the current Lord?" Because thats not how that works in this world. Mormont gave it to him specifically when he could have sent it back home. He chose not to. He felt Jon deserved that sword. It would be disrespectful to Jeor and is not the way things are generally done. Cam's valyrian steel comment is also relevant, the White Walker threat is definitely at the forefront of his mind above all else. 'Why doesn’t Sansa tell Jon about little finger and the army he posses?" Did you not pay attention to the scene in the stable? Do you understand Littlefinger is not necessarily a sure thing and that Jon would likely not trust him anyways, especially after recent events of him delivering Sansa to the Boltons? I would argue this criticism holds up in a later episode, but not in this instance. "and she LITERALLY TELLS HIM TO KILL HIMSELF OR GET OVER IT! " It's in line with her personality and the point is that he is basically a shell of a person in the state of Reek, and so it would be a mercy. This also falls right in line with Iron Born culture and mentality. "Could you imagine if Jon told Sansa to fucking kill herself after she escaped Ramsay? " This is not at all the same context, or the same people involved in the convo, which both matter here. The Arya thing I will admit is sloppy and not great, mostly with respect to the water (It looks pretty clean in this scene, but logically I'm not sure how clean it would be necessarily), but go visit a Ripleys Believe it or Not or read accounts of war injuries IRL and you'll see a lot of people survive a lot of really crazy things that they shouldn't have and that countless others have fallen to, or from lesser injuries. Also, Drogo didn't even follow the instructions he was given on treating his wound. Then the Dothraki removed the poultice placed on him and put a bunch of mud and grass on it contaminating it further. Human bodies are weird. Also, please read and review the commenting rules we post on each video.

SuddenImpulse

Remember Jaqen H'ghar told the girl not to let Arya suffer and she stabbed her multiple times in the stomach.

SnorlaX

Oops maybe just the cold open lol

SnorlaX

1. Why would Jon offer the sword back to a stranger right after finding out that it kills white walkers. That is quite literally his only weapon considering the Dragonglass was left at Hardhomme. 2. Drogo did not die from a single cut, he died because the blade was poisoned. 3. Yara and the ironborn in general have low tolerance for weakness. This very much is the tough love that was needed for Theon to start holding his head high again. 4. Once again, why pay to watch reactors react to a season you hate. And also, you are kind of spoiling the fact that Arya survives in your comment.

Cam

You can understand his perspective, doesn't mean it's justified, especially about the way he speaks about Talisa and the wildlings. Same way that the way ser Alliser felt about the wildlings. Was it understandable? Sure. Was it justified? No. Jon and Sansa are in the right, Glover is in the wrong. Now they just have to make the case for why he should join them. And yes Robb Stark made a big mistake or two and fucked up, i think everyone understands that at this point.

Kriba

His bitterness is a direct result of Robb's actions with his, "foreign whore", its totally justified. He also reasserts that house glover has been loyal to house stark, but the starks failed to protect their people... Not hard to understand why his perspective is the way that it is. Ultimately it doesn't matter Robb's intentions, he couldn't keep it together and got him and his followers killed. Reputation follows

Nana-Afia

What yara did was necessary. At a certain point you need to get people living again, theon was not doing that without a stern talking to. And yara did it with love, the whole convo was laced with emotion and kind words between the harsh reality check

Nana-Afia

How did you two feel about the first cold open?

SnorlaX

Perception is not what ultimately matters, it's doing the right thing for the realm. Managing perception is key to holding on to power, but it's not the ultimate goal. Robb by the end did not do a good job of managing the perception him, and i would say he made a big mistake in putting his love over the cause. An even bigger mistake was going back to Walder Frey and expecting cooporation. We as viewers of a show however can make our own minds up about the morality of things. Spartan called what Robb did "despicable", i don't think that's how i would frame it. I'd call it a big mistake. I understand that perspective however, because the show is kinda pushing you towards that direction What I would also say is he got very unlucky with the people around him. His mom went behind his back, his best friend betrayed him, his most important bannermen were child killers and rapists/traitors. It was going to be a tall task even without all that bs Ps. Joffrey isn't a very good example of managing perception, most of his own people literally wanted him dead. Sure you can point to a play in Braavos, but realistically who cares what they think

Kriba

Sansa sending Brienne to Blackfish is her reaching out the Tully's. They are the Tullys of Riverrun! :)

faika hammoud

my brother in Christ it’s perception that matters, the people also thought Joffrey was a good King based on the public plays we see, so reliable or not that’s the narrative the entire north sees and that’s what matters.

Matt

this is the hard shift from story to spectacle, why didn’t jon try to offer the house sword back to the Mormonts now that he is not bound to the watch and in the face of the current Lord? Why doesn’t Sansa tell Jon about little finger and the army he posses? Also FUCK YARA!! Theon has gone through so much torture, trauma, and pain, and she LITERALLY TELLS HIM TO KILL HIMSELF OR GET OVER IT! Could you imagine if Jon told Sansa to fucking kill herself after she escaped Ramsay? How the fuck did Arya survive that? How? We’ve seen so many people die from way fucking less, remember when Drogo died from a single cut that got infected? She literally fell into the town sewer lmfao. Fuck D&D

Matt

I don't think you can trust lord Glover as a reliable narrator of the story. Just because he is bitter about how things turned out for him, doesn't mean that it has anything to do with the "foreign whore" that Robb was getting with. Not saying Robb didn't make mistakes, but it's not as black and white as he makes it out to be. In many ways Robb was the reason they even had a chance in the war.

Kriba

Yeah that "fear" and comment were super strange.

FullMetal B

I love this new format of uncut with discussions and this posting schedule!

Cam

I just hope we finish the season by Thursday next week. I'll be traveling that weekend including Friday and won't have access to two screens for the full reactions 😭😭😭 Only three episodes, it's very doable! 🤞;)

Julien

Spartan you are 100% correct about Robb. While he was an easy character to root for, time and time again his choices led to his demise and the fall of his house. Glad you see it. Jon has to be able to play the game better than Robb and Ned in order to survive.

Nick Wright

I know right! I was 5 episodes behind and spent all day yesterday catching up and now they posted another one lol this is great!

Jenny Tolls

Love how fast these are coming out!

ChimneyJim

Exactly

SuddenImpulse

Love this!! cant wait to watch

SuddenImpulse

Loving the new format of reviews in the uncut version. This episode had one of the best cold openings - glad it kinda caught you off guard. Made for an “epic” reaction!

flink

Rory McCann, the actor who plays Sandor, not Gregor. The actor who plays Gregor is an incredibly successful strength athlete.

Ryab

I love this episode! Meeting Lyanna Mormont, the freakin Hound returning out of nowhere, Theon and Yara planning to team up with Dany…ah so good. Also i knew ya’ll had already watched this one but i waited to comment. I was dying the other night watching the last reaction at the end where you were discussing Benjen returning and how GoT waits til you almost forget a “dead” character before bringing them back because I knew this one was next.

AG

I thought he was only bound to the tree because the tree had literally grown around him over many years of not moving from that spot. So he is physically stuck there in the tree. Why he didn't move for so long, I guess because he had no reason to leave?

James K

They did so much better with the shock of seeing "Ellie" than I had feared. That scene was bomb 👏👍

Julien

Gendry is still rowing

Rainbow

I dislike when commenters point out shite writing but I do love when S&P pick up on it 😂. All we ask is that they watch unsoured by bitter fans.

Julien

I was so excited for you guys to see the Hound was back! I’m surprised you guys didn’t expect it just bc we didn’t see him die on screen and you guys are usually all over that lol so I’m glad they actually got one past you this time

Chaz D

the little nod to Lord Mormont and his raven when it panned to Lady Mormont and the ravens XD

Rainbow

I could be completely wrong but I always assumed that the first 3 eyed Raven was bound to the tree only bc the whites and white walkers were unable to get to him in there. Bran no longer has a place like that so he has no choice but to be free and at risk

Chaz D

Sansa sent Brienne to meet the Blackfish a few episodes ago

J_Fley .

i think you forgot that sansa already sent brienne to get the blackfish to fight for them

Abdulrahman Alothman

sansa sent brienne to talk to the blackfish, did you guys forget about that whole scene

Haseenudeen

Yay for Sandor! One of the best characters in the whole story.

Nick Wright

Love the reaction as always

Alhoss

I was as surprised to see this drop today as you guys were to see the Hound back. Thanks!

James K

Omg amazing thank you guys so much! Loving this upgrade❤️

Sophie Blair

loving the new uncut format. u guys are spoiling us

Jared

Wonderful!

Daniel

was gonna go to bed its 3am but now my watch begins... 😂

Danny

The actor who played Ser Gregor was actually homeless before he got casted in for game of thrones.

Ayo1210

much love✌️

mysterious_one7

Wow! y’all are crankin them out! 🙌🏼

Jacquelne Vause
