I STRONGLY disagree until they’re finished with the initial show watch, because I watched and loved all the Alt Shift X videos BUT he really hinted at some spoilers under the guise of, “it may be that xyz will happen because of abc,” and he’d be right, week after week. It was very, very clear that he was one of the content creators who got his hands on some show spoilers when the leaks happened. Suddenly the show stopped surprising me because all his “theories” were spot on. Awesome content maker, does a great job clarifying the lore, but if you pay attention to what he says, the show won’t shock you. Please, please wait.

Very few fantasy authors have gone into as great detail about the history of their world as GRRM has with Essos and Westeros, especially not in such great depth about places that the story doesn’t even ever take you.

Quite a few videos out there of world wars and other great historical events in this style, along w fantasy stuff like LOTR, GOT, etc. I don't think a map is even required. It's just one of the standard YT narrative styles at this point. It works depending on the topic.

He is brilliant but the rest probably have too many spoilers/theories. Ah well. People make recommendations without regard to what reactors might actually enjoy. After 5 seasons of lore videos, S&P did not need yet another video explaining the waves of conquests in Westeros.

This one definitely needs playback speed adjusted, otherwise there are few GoT world videos of this length that cover this much info. Definitely not ideal but the appeal and value is there if one can absorb it.

There was this, the Alt Shift X video, the coldplay musical thing, and something else. WhyCreate's vids are definitely not ideal but they do pack a ton of info into pretty short videos compared to where you'd get that info otherwise, so it has its pros and cons. Alt-Shift-X is definitely a bit more ideal for reaction format though due to his speed and such.
