2023-02-25 00:27:41 +0000 UTCYep very true. For me I get where Spartan is coming from though. While I understand WHY Aang behaves this way mentally and physically in fights, it does get rather frustrating at times. Sometimes it just not the best time for that.

2023-02-25 00:16:24 +0000 UTCAangs fighting style being avoiding fights is kind of his core character trait like it is embedded in his bending and his life outlook, he’s even vegetarian to entirely back this up that he does not like violence of any kind and only resorts to it in defense of himself or another innocent person, but he never uses any fatal amount of force, he only seeks to nullify

Plenty more good episodes to come but there is something about the pacing of this episode that felt like a movie for me. By the end I feel the exhaustion of the characters and just want to take a nap.

Aang is a monk and his culture is passive. Air benders are quick and clever not necessarily head on brute strength
