2023-02-14 13:37:19 +0000 UTCI love that Joel's aim gets better when Ellie's life is in immediate danger - he was clearly like 'I need to keep her alive, focus man!' Not missing many this time! (I love how this was a throwback to ep3!) I think he was trembling because he couldn't help Ellie when she was inside the car. To be honest, I loved every bit of them - Pedro does some really nice small expressions and gestures, like frowning at Ellie's pocketed gun etc. The contrast of him asking her to do as he says in ep 3 and now asking to trust him instead... Aww. Bella's last scream killed me, though. And the fact that Henry's only kill (by his own hands) was his own brother. Man. This episode wasn't picture perfect for me pacing-wise (I wished the sniper bit was longer, the beginning sequence bit shorter), but they know how to do the character stuff to perfection.
