this is my favourite episode of season 1. When I first watched the series, nothing impressed me as much as those 20 seconds, when Roku speaks to Jeong Jeong. I suddenly understood the magnitude of the Avatar's role. It becomes powerfully clear how far back the history of this land goes and how intertwined it is with the history of the Avatar. Just like this the stakes have multiplied
