I saw a YouTuber make compelling arguments for Tywin being an idiot.

Yeah I am guessing she just forgot what Baelish's sigil is/that he was preparing to take her on that ship.

Sansa is crying cause 1, she heard the news that she'll have to marry Tyrion. And 2, that boat that she's seeing sail away is Littlefinger's. She probably did everything she could to reach him in time to ask him to take her with him. But was too late seeing him sail away. And obviously she has no idea he had no intention of taking her with him at this point anyway.

I’ve seen this series several times and I still can’t watch the scenes of Theon’s torture.

Switching Tywin from hate to love list is pure GOT maturity. He is undoubtedly the absolute best character in terms of cleverness and deep scheming/politicking.

I completely agree. Even if Tywin does sometimes bad things you just have to admire his love for the lannister name and how clever he plays the game of thrones.

Great love/like/hate. Tywin has been a fantastic character so far and at this point in the story is arguably the most powerful man in the 7 Kingdoms. Glad to see Jamie growing on you both.

You must be joking. This was literally one of the best scenes in GOT.

Kudos on the list segment. That was HILARIOUS!!! Spartan giving Pudgey a hard time because of her indecisions, and immediately afterwards, him not being able to decide on his own choice. LOL

Chaos being a ladder and how Littlefinger sees it that way is exactly the way our real world works for people who take advantage of others(or climb over the backs of others)to get ahead(capitalism in a nutshell.)

The Climb is honestly the perfect episode for a Christmas episode thematically. So much ice.

They are, in their holiday post they mentioned they have a few videos scheduled still for this break period. It won't be at the same pace as when they are not on holiday, but they tried to get some videos edited so we have at least a little something in the meantime.

True, Robb’s choice wasn’t really agreeing to marry a Frey. He had no other choice in that case and that’s not Catelyn’s fault, it was Walder Frey. But… it was *absolutely* Robb’s choice to marry Talisa against the advice of his mother, his banner men, and to do so after he’d sworn an oath to Walder.

“The Climb”— Littlefinger climbing the ladder of chaos and Jon and Ygritte literally climbing the Wall. Littlefinger sees power as the ultimate value, and he scoffs at love as an illusion in his dog-eat -dog world. But Jon and Ygritte show that human connection is the ultimate value and brings us to greater heights than power.

Pudgey has a heart wide enough to embrace multiple houses, and Spartan shows fierce loyalty to one. Both are worthy character traits and your different approaches make your reactions entertaining.

Spartan really is getting very good in terms of being in the right now. Olenna got beaten by Tywin in their battle. And chaos is a ladder speech is honestly one of the best dialogues in the whole series.

Theon’s scenes are horrible to watch.
SPARTAN my man I think you’ve caught up to Pudgey in terms of being in the right now, hahaha Olenna conceded defeat to Tywin as she didn’t have a counter to his threat of making Loras a kingsguard in that scene.
Mountain/rock climbers tying themselves together or using one rope is a real technique, idk exactly the logic/reasoning behind it but I’m pretty sure its like, a safeguard to stop any one individual from falling (at the risk of pulling down the entire group). However, “cutting the rope” might sometimes be necessary to ensure the survival of at least some of the climbers. There’s been a few movies with that premise. So I think getting cut off if you’re at risk of falling is just a risk you have to accept if you’re climbing which is why I don’t think it was that “controversial” in-universe that Jon and Ygritte were cut.
Pudgey being team Tyrell honestly I saw that for you during the Season 2 lore and girl I’m right there with you

Littlefinger's "Chaos is a laddah" speech is one of my favourite moments in the show and proves why he is my favourite show character ^_^
From a little lord on a tiny spit of land in the Vale, he climbed all the way to the king's small council. Littlefinger thrives in times of chaos.

Jon and Ygritte, star crossed lovers once bitter rivals, stand between the edge of two worlds. Ygritteis awestruck by the view below, but Jon only has eyes for her. They embrace each other in a passionate kiss, and the music swells to a crescendo. Even the mighty Wall is no match against the power of love. Shakespeare himself would be proud.
