Just a quick thing on Jaime vs Brienne. I think under normal conditions, Jaime would easily beat Brienne. Obviously he's chained up in the fight. But also keep in mind Jaime has been a captive since the end of season 1. Which means he's underfed. He's been sitting in his own shit that whole time, which means he's stiff, not fit, and out of practice. So the fact he still did that well against Brienne despite all that, shows how good he is.

**Important Moderator Message**
You guys have really need to stop posting spoiler comments on Patreon if you want S&;P to continue reading them, otherwise we will have to move to screencapping the safe ones for them. Which isn't fair to the people following the spoiler rules.
A few people are doing this on almost every video. S&P LOVE interacting with their community, reading the messages, responding to them, which is exactly why we are so serious about moderation on the youtube comments. It is very important to them to maintain this element of their community interaction. Most channels don't even read their youtube comments/interact with their community outside of discord because they don't have moderators to clean up the spoilers.
***If it has not been covered by the latest episode they have uploaded, and doesn't fall within the flavor lore rule, it should not be mentioned.*** This isn't that difficult.
We have a Game of Thrones discord channel where you can talk about *anything* from any season, or even the books, with people in the community as long as spoiler tags are used.
Since Patreon doesn't have mod powers, we either have to rely on the poster editing or deleting the comment themselves after we ask them (which happens only about 30% of the time) or have to warn S&P to delete the post via video+username themselves without looking at the content, so they don't see it later on accident.

Good catch, Spartan about Margary. She is playing Joff like a fiddle. She knew about Renly before they married of course. She wants to be "The Queen." But it's also her father, "The Lord Oaf of Highgarden" as his mother Lady Olena calls him. BTW, Lady Olena's nickname is "The Queen of Thorns" because the house sigil is the rose.

House Bolton is a Northern house, The flayed man is their sigil because they "used" to flay their victims and wear their skin as cloaks. Olena Tyrell is a great character (played by the late Dame Diana Rigg.) She is hilarious throughout the story. Good catch,

The scene with Catelyn talking about Jon Snow is the only scene in the show that made my eyes water. I was actually a Little surprised that it didnβt have too much effect on you guys π

Yeah I dunno if the last part of your comment is something you should state explicitly. Itβs not told to the viewer and is more something youβre only meant to realise if you deeply pay attention to the signs. I feel like you should edit out that last part of your comment as realising that on their own accord would be more rewarding

This is the problem with reaction channels. People can't keep shit to themselves. Spartan and Pudgey really shouldn't be reading the comments. It's a mess after every episode.

I think this time, for a change, we need to give kudos to Spartan for fully recognizing Margaery's expert manipulation of Joffrey - playing to his ego and his psychopath side. That girl knows exactly what she is doing! Also, her grandmother had me after the first couple of quips. Scoring some points for House Tyrell.

Pretty sure Jaime would have won that fight if he was in proper condition. While Brienne was indeed being a bit reserved because she wasn't trying to kill him, he was holding his own quite well for being imprisoned and in poor health for a year and having his hands bound.

Lord Roose Bolton is the one who entered Robb's tent with the messages from Riverrun and Winterfell. He's one of Robb's most important bannermen.

To Spartans point about all the Stark children. Now you can clearly see how every one of them is on a completely separate journey from one another. Every journey is so nuanced and complicated and you never know what is next for them.

the tyrell house words are 'growing strong' so pudgies not far off in her analysis of the houses intentions they are always trying to dig deeper roots and grow taller

Jaime was chained, starving and sitting in a pool of his own excrement for months. Of course he lost to Brienne, it wasn't much of a fair fight. If both were equally hale and healthy it would've been a duel for the ages!

Fun fact that came to me when you guys were talking about Jorah's wife who got him exiled for selling poachers to slavers for money so he could keep her happy. Her name was Lynesse Hightower, yes the same Hightower family from House of The Dragon, the high lords of Oldtown and bannermen to the Tyrells.

That old man who ratted Jaime and Brienne wasn't the cousins father. If he was he would've been a rich Lannister, he was the farmer who saw them in the woods that Brienne let go but Jaime wanted him dead for their safety. And Jaime was right they should've ended him. And the men who caught them on the bridge are the Boltons, Robb's bannermen, the ones who took Winterfell from Theon and are torturing him at the moment.

It's interesting to me that you were surprised by Brienne's infatuation for Renly - she mourned his death so deeply, wanted to avenge him, and her tone of voice was very loving when she said "He would have made a wonderful king". Though good pickup from Pudgey about Jaime's tone when he said "We don't get to choose who we love"! The tone of voice is everything, ah, such great acting!

Bolton is just one of the banners that were called to the starks, the house of one of his advisers Roose bolton, who "sent his bastard to winterfell to get ttheon"

The Boltons are a bannerman of the Starks. You met Roose Bolton in season 2 when Robb received news of Theon capturing Winterfell. Roose said his bastard could raise 500 men to take Winterfell back. The men outside Winterfell was Bolton men and they were besieging Winterfell (the horn blowers).
