Such a great episode! You guys are catching so many details as well! I'm with you Spartan, after loads of rewatches I still have trouble during the scene where Xaro & Doreah get locked away, Something about it gives me the creeps every time.

They do indeed plan to watch them after each season at this current time. Our mod team is aware some of the later ones do have spoiler content for House of the Dragon and the like in them, and I do want to alleviate any concerns about that. Our mod team reviews these lore and history videos, and anything else they watch, in their entirety before they watch them. If they can watch the majority of a lore and history video, but have to exclude some spoilery "chapters" we will make sure to advise them of what to skip, timestamps and all. =)

Probably still one of my favorite episodes; I still get emotional at multiple points. I like the parallels going on, e.g. some characters being presented with something they want or would like but turning it down. I also like the questions based on what people know or don't know. Some fun details I may as well add here: Doreah actually mentioned Qarth during season 1, so I've thought she may have had a connection there already (and I haven't read the books, but am not looking for any details on that here). She also mentioned a man who could change his face (not necessarily meaning Jaqen).

And one more quick note: The men surrounding Winterfell were Northmen, but they were NOT Robb's men. Remember (in episode 6 or 7?) Robb didn't want to divide his army and send troops back north, so one of his commanders offered to call on his bastard to take care of it. Also, Robb made the offer to let every Iron Islander go back home free if they surrendered, EXCEPT for Theon. That is why Theon's men chose to betray him.

The rules in a post 3 above yours clearly state no book spoilers. These rules are posted on every video on patreon and on youtube, and they have also explained this multiple times in episode intros to a few of the videos. If you guys keep doing this they will have to stop reading the comments altogether, which is really not fair to the people that are following the rules and want to interact with them. The rest is fine, but please follow the rules and edit the last part out of your comment. To be clear, not trying to be mean, just want to give you a chance to revise the post and so that others understand. =)

Good reaction! And on to season 3 we go! Just FYI, Jaqen H'ghar told Arya he is a "faceless man" - we don't necessarily know what that means right now - I mean, besides the fact that he seems to be a very skilled assassin - but it might help explain the face switch. Also, "Valar Morghulis" is high Valyrian for "all men must die" - you have also heard that expression being used in House of the Dragon.

Gosh I love how strong your opinions are on each character and how good you understand them and their motives. Your opinions are not volatile, never changing drastically just from one misstep a character takes or a mistake he does that contradicts his personality. We never have to argue or explain these things to you, something literally no reactor has, other than you 2. Keep going we're really loving it!

a few things i found great in this -there was a point where pudgie was confused w 2 quick deaths and spartan all u said was probably and like nodded and pudgie you understood what he meant i loved that little wordless communication it was adorable -ive always thought brienne stuck the sword up his crotch like spartan maybe its just us boys being TERRIFIED of such a thing happening lmao

About the episode, something I don't think you touched upon: Jaime's reaction to Brienne was awesome, he was like dang I guess she didn't need my help! :D And on the other hand, his reaction to the hung tavern girls, both at the beginning of the scene and at the end of it.
