Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.

Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.

Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.

These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

We hope you enjoy the video!

my man wanted to listen to the music at the end. my kinda guy right there.

Boaty Zooka

I think this is a great idea as another fan of this scene. While I am not sure it would be in the episode 1 video or not, I will see if they are interested in tossing this in with one of their reactions. =)

SuddenImpulse

Way to go Spartan, you got one of the twist moments, lmaooooo

Josie De Jong

Well tbf it's Joffery who is adamant on fighting, not really anything to do with Tyrion

TheLewi67

Guys, there is a deleted scene that i would love you guys to watch and include it in the s3e1 reaction maybe?. I myself watched GOT 10+ times and discovered it just yesterday and i loved it,maybe your moderator can check before you do. https://youtu.be/Zb-RVIETRCE

JonYellowSnow

Exactly! And by the way, another thing that's not very noticeable is that initially she seemed to refuse the offer Littlefinger delivered to her. The offer was made in S2E4, when she was in Storm's End. She arrived to Robb's camp in S2E6 (think of the time lapse). And it wasn't until S2E8 that she freed him, after the circumstances changed and Littlefinger's offer became their best option.

HDN

I remembered once we stopped recording !! Pudgey

CpaSpartan Pudgey

Yeah what is wrong with that statement

Rey Jr

"He plans to send her son without battle experience in a huge battle" LOL.

FullMetal B

It might have been nice to have Catetlyn explain this to Robb during their confrontation to drive that point home to viewers. “Your men were growing mad with drink and bloodlust. I feared he would not survive the night. So I let him go.”

Julien

Reactors always answer this question unprompted in their reactions to the next episode. The conflict is what makes the episode so great (I'm only saying this because I know they have already watched it).

Julien

I find it interesting that even the Lord of Bones or in general the people beyond the wall know about Ned Stark and that he is dead. Even though there is a big wall between them and the North, that news still managed to travel to them

fritz

Damn, Spartan must be very happy with what he watched. Don't make us wait for too long 😁

HDN

this will be made clear in our next reaction which we have recorded, but still need to edit. so stay tuned 😃

CpaSpartan Pudgey

I won't speak for them, but I think they probably take the typical stance of most fans at this point. Basically Pro-Starks/Stannis and Anti-Lannister but want Tyrion to survive the Lannister beatdown unscathed.

SuddenImpulse

Not sure if I'm allowed to ask this question (mods let me know), I would really like to know, before the series progresses, whose side are you on in the Lannisters/Stannis conflict? Cause you love Tyrion (and he's a Lannister, he's already planing to defend the capital, aka Joffrey and Cersei and all that) but you're also rooting for Stannis to kick Joffrey's ass.

HDN

Yeah that really was a bad situation all around for Robb and Catelyn.

SuddenImpulse

Well, I think it is important to consider Tyrion's reasoning for sending Myrcella away, whether or not one agrees with what he did it is relevant to judging his actions there.

SuddenImpulse

The fact that Jaime got freed and Robb got betrayed is enraging, but you guys probably forgot what happened in the last episode. They showed us how angry everyone was at Jaime for running away the first time, and how angrier they were getting as the night passes and the drinking continues. And Robb wasn't there to control them. There was no way Jaime could survive the night. Catelyn had to choose, either sit and watch Jaime getting killed, which would absolutely get the Lannisters to lose their mind and most probably harm the girls + weaken Robb's position anyway, or set him free on a "maybe" and suffer the consequences of betraying Robb. That's it, it's either madness or a small chance to get back the girls. There was no win situation for the Stark's side. She picked the less harmful situation in my opinion.

HDN

good on you spartan my man you were on youre absolute a game this ep handsome, pudgie i love your love of talissa and rob and i especially love you both knowing the whole time bran and rickon couldnt have been the dead bodies good on you

Michael Doyle

You guys are seeing why Catelyn is my least fav out of the Stark bunch. Also the song you mention at the end is the Stark theme. Seriously looking forward to your reactions of the rest of the season and beyond.

Nick Wright

"Our order does not deal in pigshit!"

Blackcaiman16

Wow thanks DC! we are really glad to hear you're enjoying our reactions, and appreciate your support a lot!

CpaSpartan Pudgey

Great reaction as always. I think you are a bit unfair to Cersei. Tyrion shipped away her daughter without saying anything to her to a country far away. Then he plans to send her son without battle experience in a huge battle. So why is in your opinion Cersei so mean when she takes this time one of Tyrions beloved one as hostage ? If Cersei would have done that what Tyrion did you would just hate her. But because it is Tyrion you just say:“go Tyrion“.

Rey Jr

I thought you wrote a poem with how you formatted that

Corncobtv

The music really is great for these shows. When Spartan got the win I swear a started to slow clap.😅 Best GOT reactors so far.

Maurice Jamian Cupido

Just wanted to say that you guys are great. I’ve never followed a reaction channel before and I’ve certainly never supported anyone on patreon before you guys. GOT brought me here, but I’m planning on following you long term. Can’t wait to see where you go.

D.C.

Both Bronn & Tyrion used the word "pigshit" to describe something a couple of episodes ago. You'll find out soon enough 🤫. Imagine the soldiers throwing actual pigshit from the walls tho....🤔🤣🤣🤣

xPirate91

Facts man, that House Stark theme is straight cold ❄🧊🥶. My personal fave from Ramin D. Gets me everytime Definitely part of the "Bedtime Playlist"😴🌙🐺

xPirate91

What is duty, compared to a woman's love? What is honor, compared to the feel of a newborn son in your arms?

Evilsponge

The music at the end credits it think is called Winterfell. It's one of my favorites of the soundtrack. Ramin Djawadi the composer is a living legend!

Ersin Günay

Loved watching this ep with you! So happy to be along for the ride with you two. The next episode (9 of s.2) is one of my all time favorites. Looking forward to it!

Jason Turner

Another banger reaction!

Robin Lee Melendez

Yep, these small details can be hard to notice and easy to miss, but they are IMPORTANT and have relevance multiple episodes or even seasons later. A sign of quality writing. =)

SuddenImpulse

I've waited you to reach this episode for so long, ah, finally Brienne and Jaime are off! My favourite bantering duo (well, them and Bronn+Tyrion).

S.

Great reaction guys. Remember Tyrion sent littlefinger to tell Catelyn that he would do a deal to swap Jaimie for the girls. So she’s taking Tyrion’s word that he would live up to his end of the bargain which from everything we know of Tyrion he would. Also Ros got the necklace from Tyrion when they were sleeping together at Winterfell. Cersei assumed that since she had the necklace she must be the one Tyrion was sleeping with.
