Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.

Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.

Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.

These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

We hope you enjoy the video!

Comments

Yeah I definitely did, as I said in the previous reply. They may be the only reactors I have seen that are genuinely interested in understanding the details about the show. I wasn't triggered by them, I was kinda triggered for them. But still, I was wrong, as were many others who left comments too. And P&S have been pretty understanding of everyone and they honestly surprised me with their big interest for the show as it progressed.

HDN

They are doing fantastic at knowing information. Especially with watching the lore videos at the end of season 1. So they know lore information that pretty much only book readers knew when it starts getting mentioned in season 2 like the history of the first men, children of the forest. i know you said you commented basically before watching hardly any of their reaction videos but you definitely jumped the gun. I've never seen reactors understand or pick up so much so quickly.

FullMetal B

Yeah I'm at s1e8 and so far they are doing really well. Pudgey is so good at noticing the details and overthinking everything (which is perfection), and Spartan is a genius at evaluating the progression of the events and the character development (knowing when the build up's gonna explode into a fight or a big event). I've noticed some GOT fans were pretty hard on them (including me in the comment above, after giving it a thought). Nerds will always be nerds i guess.

HDN

They seem to be doing pretty good on keeping things straight for watching this show for the very first time, and they are doing a relatively decent job of correcting one another as well.

Khan Battle

Baelish was suggesting to ally with the Tyrells since they have so many men in case of war against Stannis

Matteo

Hello! Definitely I agree, it has to be natural and fun, not overwhelming and boring. Yet, some parts (like the distinction between Valyria and Velaryon, something that has been addressed later on) are important for the show to become more and more enjoyable rather than redundant and boring. I don't mean to make a fuss about it, carry on your videos are great!

HDN

bare in mind Hadi these reactions are also kept natural, we aren't trying to turn it into a school exam. so while we do our best to read the material, a natural element of blindness and confusion that one would experience in a first watch should be expected and an integral part of a natural reaction.

CpaSpartan Pudgey

That was a quick response i appreciate it! As a GOT/ASOIAF nerd myself it triggered me every time they struggled with houses, mixing the Lannisters with Targaryens and Velaryons and we know how confusing it can get, especially if someone's trying to implement what they've learned from HOTD on the far bigger world of GOT. Thanks for your effort lads.

HDN

@Hadi Hey friend! While it is important for us to ensure they are going into episodes as blind as possible for reaction and experience quality, our moderation team is a bunch of GoT-supernerds that have watched the show and read the books numerous times. As a result, we are well aware of how complex this world can be, what it is like for new viewers, and how ensuring new viewers are keeping on top of all the lore, characters, and content is important to making the most of their experience. Due to this, we have actually gone out of our way to assist Spartan and Pudgey in the ways you are suggesting, by providing these materials ourselves, so they don't risk stumbling on spoilery material online. As examples of what we have done so far: -We have provided the known world map from the official Lands of Ice and Fire book. This is the most detailed and accurate world map for both continents that has been made available, and was made directly with George Martin's involvement. It shows every location and is zoomable down to individual towns and main roads. -We have provided a map of Westeros that clearly indicates the 7 kingdoms territories, sigils, colors, etc. -We continuously update a character guide with images and names of characters after they are first introduced to them each episode. -Once in a blue moon we will point out the locations of the main characters on the known world map so they have an idea of their location in the big picture. -When they were a few episodes into HotD, we provided a basic spoiler free "Starter Guide" for them that has the basics of the Houses, Aegons Conquest, the main religions, and things like that. -After watching their full uncut reactions and their intros and outros, if there is particular subject matter they seem to be confused on, missed, or are misunderstanding we do our best to clarify this for them in "post-episode clarification notes" that are brief and non-spoilery if we don't think it will be sufficiently clarified in an upcoming episode and compound their confusion. This way they don't have to worry about getting to confused by numerous youtube comments that may be of differing levels of accuracy and detail. Although they do read the YT and Patreon comments after we have cleared them as being spoiler free. Naturally, they will forget some of these things, simply because it is a lot of information to retain, but they really do try to keep tabs on what they are supposed to know at the point in the show they are at. We appreciate your concern and passion for wanting to ensure they have a maximally enjoyable experience in being introduced to this world and characters we all know and love. I hope this has ameliorated your concerns. =)

Awesome! Looking forward to watching this. Just wanted to say, you guys are helping me a lot right now, through a though time. I'll spare you the details (and it's nothing toooo bad), but just wanted to let you know, that this series really helps me having something to look forward to, every other day!

Sebastian Schon

I petition to have GRRM change the name to jakka hakka 🤣

FullMetal B

Youngest Stark is Rickon not Rickard lol understandable, he's hardly in the show. Rickard was Ned's Father. After Theon wrote that letter to Robb he burnt it instead of sending it. Theons conflicted and understandably so. He's really stuck between a rock & a cold place lol And it's pronounced JACKEN HA-GAR lol too crack up Pudgey

xPirate91
