2022-11-13 14:46:01 +0000 UTCWell this is speculation of course, I haven't read the books. But I'm not saying the ravens or messengers haven't arrived to tell Tywin. I'm saying they were never sent at all. I don't think Tyrion and Cersei would tell Tywin until they have to. Because it'll get them nothing except making Tywin furious. Especially Cersei, but Tyrion to I think, would want to see if they can find her before they have to tell Tywin. Remember Tyrion had no idea that Arya was missing until Cersei told him, even though she'd been missing for a while already. So I don't think Tywin knows, because I don't think Tyrion or Cersei will tell him until they have to.

2022-11-12 01:28:43 +0000 UTCIs it? The end of season 1 was weeks ago. Ravens and horse messengers travel back and forth. Of course Tywin knows what's up in King's Landing by now, including the missing Stark girl. Robb and Cat have no clear picture of the situation but Tywin definitely does.

After Yoren sent the city watch away, they came back with Lannister reinforcements. And if you remember in the season finale of season 1, when Tywin told Tyrion to go to King's Landing, he said that he and his army would make camp at Harrenhal. Also fun fact from HOTD, Harrenhal is where Harwin Strong and his father were burned alive. It is said to he cursed.

And Tywin holds that title right now. But he sent Tyrion to rule *in his name* while he is away at war. Tywin Lannister *is* the Hand of the King!
