Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.
Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.
Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.
These reactions DO NOT include our intros and discussions. You will have to refer to the original edited version of the video.

It makes it less likely for the videos to get flagged but it is still illegal. If the copyright holder caught wind of it and cared to, they could get all their videos taken down and even potentially sue them. I have in fact seen this happen before with not 1 but 2 reactors that did this in the last 3 years. While sure, many get away with it, just like many get away with uploading lots of pirated material to torrents, they are still playing with fire and any day could be the day things go from great to terrible in that respect.

2022-11-04 23:05:37 +0000 UTCi believe that's because vimeo has the capacity to upload videos that are only viewable through patreon and have no unlisted page like on youtube - so its impossible to have a video flagged for copyright unless they have paid visibility to your patreon page... either way it could still be reported so might not be something they try

2022-11-04 22:26:25 +0000 UTCI could be wrong, but if you upload these to Vimeo instead of YouTube, you can have the full uncut, unedited, uncensored reactions with sound without worrying about copyright. I only say this because other Patreons I'm subscribed to for show/anime reactions upload full unedited with sound videos but they use Vimeo.

2022-11-04 20:09:29 +0000 UTCIt's good that the uncut version comes out as fast as possible, I would not want to take away from that. But it seems like the review is not edited that much so it seems it is kind of held up by the edited reaction. Since you go into great detail in the review, maybe you can instead release the review as a separate video. This way it would not delay the uncut, but would also not be delayed by the edited version.

If they add the intro and outro discussion to the uncuts it will take longer for the uncuts to come out (potentially a decent bit longer, as you see the edited versions sometimes take a bit longer to come out due to the extra editing time). Is that something you guys wouldn't mind? I am not speaking on their behalf, but maybe that will help them gauge if they wish to change this in the future or not.

To elaborate on this a little further, the idea is basically that surviving the drowning is a "rite of passage" wherein the Drowned God has basically approved/blessed you. It also kind of reinforces their cultural views of having to "earn" everything from strength of will/conquest. If you don't resuscitate you were not strong enough in will to be a true Ironborn.

2022-11-04 07:02:22 +0000 UTCNot sure if you caught this, but Harrenhal - the castle Tyrion offers Littlefinger - is the same castle we see at the beginning of the first episode of HotD - it is where they have the big council that names Viserys the heir to King Jahaerys - and also it is the place where Lyonel and Harwin Strong get burnt to death by Larys - That fire is one of several weird/horrible events that have happened there, which is what makes many people, including Littlefinger, say that Harrenhal is cursed.

I wrote my message because it seemed to me that they understood that Tyrion made this game just to understand who he can trust and that he wasn't really going to send Myrcella to Dorne.

They literally drowned them and the priest performs a ritual that is mostly likely a form of CPR. That's why they say, "What is dead may never die." They basically see it as you have died and returned from the dead.
