2022-10-20 05:59:26 +0000 UTCYikes it's hard to say. Like 99% of the characters in HoTD and GoT are all such pieces of garbage, The named ones I mean. I think everyone universally hates Joffrey because at least the others you can kind of rationalize their behavior, but he was just a spoiled garbage human being from episode 1. TBH I hate everyone on House except Viserys. I found him to be the only sane, redeemable, relatable character besides maybe Graham McTavash the head of the City Watch - whatever his name is in the story.

2022-10-18 15:05:41 +0000 UTCThe only reason I picked Larys over joeffery is because as awful joeffery is I think he's more of a product of his environment, we've seen how awful cersi's advise was to him I doubt he was raised in any other way than to be a total cunt and an absent father also, being an insist child may have something to do with it. on the other hand when you look at Larys's family, his father seemed to be like a decent man, in fact too decent and his brother seemed honorable and courageous.

I just don't like the Dothraki at all or their storyline. In season 1, everything across the Narrow Sea I wasn't really interested in. I don't like how him and Daenerys developed as a couple. Or the speech he made about invading Westeros. Though I understand that's the culture of the Dothraki, it just isn't something I like. With HOTD, Cole is the worst. I like "villains", as I like Otto and Larys as characters and from GOT season 1 I like Cersei, Littlefinger and even Joffrey's scenes. Cole is just flat out annoying though so far.

Whatever happened in the first murder we can infer that it was ‘justified’ as far as their own laws are concerned. I think a lot of what is going on with Ser Criston is that he isn’t equipped to process getting raped.

When she's giving Joffrey advice that the truth can be what he makes it and he can do what he wants, no wonder he turned out like the deplorable tw*t he did. Tywin, Littlefinger, Larys and Otto are also terrible people, but at least they play the Game of Thrones in an interesting way. Looking forward to your reactions to S2 for both shows. While GoT had obvious villain characters, I respected their villainy and they were captivating as adversaries (Joffrey, Cersei, Littlefinger, and Tywin). They never pretended to be anything else. Criston Cole has murdered two people in cold blood in psychotic fits of rage, which he seems prone to, yet has the nerve to be unironically self-righteous.
