Victory! 100% Focus on the Akumi Game!
Added 2020-06-06 22:00:02 +0000 UTCSo a couple months ago an animation studio I used to work for (Renegade Animation Studio) contacted me about a some freelance work from a client they we're unable to accept. For those who don't know, animation is expensive because there's a lot of departments involved. So for a 5 minute animation, it was gonna cost this client 150K or more. So they recommended me as I can do the whole thing solo ( minus sound & music ) for a lot less than 100K+. I would pay my buddies Dave and Ben for sound and music, same guys who worked on my game, Oversoul.
I paid in other ways as the client was the most meticulous person I've ever worked with BUT long story short, the animation is finished!!! I'm waiting on sound and music from my crew and it's done and I will probably never accept a freelance job again no matter how much it pays... Once the NDA is lifted I'll show this animation which turned out preeetty gud!
Why tell this story?
Because NOW I can devote 100% of my time to this Akumi game!!! Oh god the relief I feel is incredible. Let us build this Akumi game universe.
