So here's a little test animation of what I'm thinking of doing for most of the main Akumi characters. Basically, a little action animation followed by a still frame title card. In the animation above, the only major thing that happens is the zombie giant crouches and Bubbu points at something but I plan to make more dynamic action scenes for other characters. Then later, promo trailers of actual game footage can be spliced in after the character animations.
The spiderverse animation was a test on how easily I could move a character around with this new animating method. It was worth the effort.
Akumi Wars Game Progress
Talked to Adam a few days ago and looks like we're ready to go again. Engine is pretty much finalized and we just have to decide how we want this game to function. Movement has begun!
