I know that's the whole point of doing reaction videos, and I like this, so please don't take this as a negative comment. I just want to point out that Breaking Bad is one of the very few series where every single scene, every individual line of dialogue, is extremely important. Some dialogues in this show are even iconic. Nothing is said randomly. Especially in Season 3 and 4, it's crucial that you try your best to catch and process everything that's happening.

2025-11-29 21:23:31 +0000 UTCJane wasn't lying on her back. When Walter came in, he shook Jesse because he wanted to wake him up. When he shook him, this caused Jane to turn onto her back. You two are some of the few reactors who didn't approve of his actions right from the beginning. I was also on Walter's side, despite his sins, simply because he was the main character. Well, this episode changed that for me. Most reactors still supported Walter even after this episode. Walter truly loves his family in a way, and he and Jesse also have a kind of father-son relationship, which is why he wanted to help him. When Jane began choking in a panic, he decided not to help her. Given that she was a bad influence on Jesse with the drug use and had threatened him, he simply made that choice. A bad decision from a moral perspective, of course. When I watched it for the first time, I thought it had ruined the rest of the series for me, because how could I possibly side with a main character who is such a terrible person? But it remained incredibly interesting afterwards. Most people prefer Season 5, but my favorite is Season 3. Easily the best series I have ever watched. Right on its heels is Better Call Saul.
