Sales TAX update July 1st

This is a necessary update, don't worry, I'll try to get this done quick. So basically Patreon has started charging sales tax to some pledges from patrons in parts of the US and 17 other countries starting July 1st. I don't know if you got an email from them or anything, but I'm pretty sure that you noticed this in your bank account.
According to the email that The Patreon Team sent me, they "estimate that less than half of all patrons will have sales tax added to their pledge, and for most of them, the amount will be relatively small. For example, sales tax rates in the US range from 4% to 11%, so on a $5 pledge, that would be between 20 cents and 55 cents".
Whether or not a patron will be taxed depends on where you live (not where you are located), what benefits I offer, and what’s taxable in the patron’s location. Tax rates and laws about what is taxable vary from place to place.
According to what they told me, Patreon automatically detects what's on my tiers based on keywords and that all cool stuff, so they apply the right tax rate for each patron’s location.
HOWEVER. I didn't want to accept that, I just don't. You already pay me so much, so I wanted to do everything I could to save you those cents. So I waited until Patreon launched their advanced tax settings!
According to them, by using it, they give to us creators more control over how sales tax is applied to our memberships and potentially save our patrons money on taxes. So as you could guess, I did just that on July 1st. Yeah, just while Patreon is processing pledges, I don't care if this get me on trouble or something goes wrong, I just want to save your money as much as possible, even if it's just 50 cents or 1 dollar.
