Last Human special CG for Patrons: Aury
Added 2023-01-19 01:50:08 +0000 UTCSo, you've noticed I posted 2 special CG's tonight. I felt like I needed to do something more for patrons that have been hanging around for a long time. So, from time to time (as I have time of course), I'll be posting these special renders just for you guys. These posts will have the tag "special cgs" so you can find them again easily. And if you're on my discord, there is a patron-only channel where these will also be posted at full resolution. ;)

Plus Lili from OO winding up in Serenity! I was joking in one of the Discord servers a while back that somebody needed to do a "St. Elsewhere-Tommy Westphall" kind of chart to see how many games are all in the same shared universe due to character crossovers.

2023-01-23 02:05:54 +0000 UTCI love this. Thank you :) Originally, before I decided to make Last Human, I was going to make something that more 'fully crossed over' with Serenity. But I decided that wouldn't be the best way forward because it would come off as me using Serenity to help the new game along. Serenity has been my 'training wheels' as I've openly said before. So its better to keep them more separated. However, I thought it would be fun to bring Rin over. If you think about it, Serenity can really crossover with just about anything. Someone already did a crossover with it in another game (look for a game called "Fall of the Angels"). It's just a small part. That game was created with more anime-like characters (KK). I had created 4 of the girls in KK and gave him the characters to use in his game.

2023-01-21 13:18:52 +0000 UTCWhat I especially like is that there are throwbacks? to serenity, maybe even serenity characters will involve themselves with the mc, given the mc is still the same person that is in serenity, although it might get confusing for some people. The MC in Serenity is the same MC in last human, just in some parallel universe which certain characters seem able to cross from one to the other. The whole Serenity / Last Human background / history (Pantheria etc) give both Serenity and Last Human a special quality. It would be easy to rely on a previous game to support a new game, but they both hold up so well on their own but within the same universe if you understand what I mean.
