Set Construction Walkthrough
Added 2025-07-20 23:42:31 +0000 UTCThe walls have gone up. The details are being added. We thought it was worth showing a walkthrough of the set. We also take the time to discuss where camera ports should go in the kitchen.
A camera port is just a hole in the set wall that we can remove so we can place camera outside of the set. Most the dumpling house has fly-a-way walls, meaning we can literally remove the whole wall and set up camera and lights out of the set. However the Kitchen walls are load bearing, supporting the structure of the bedroom upstairs. So a compromise is having some large 3'x3' holes in the wall that we can remove for certain shots.
The first stage of the set will be finished August 1st. And action rehearsal begins August 4th in our stage space, for a full 4 weeks. Lots more to show soon!
