One minor thing is his eyes look a bit too alert and focused, the original did a good job of portraying a more vacant and glazed expression like you might expect from someone who spends a good deal of time stoned.

Only difference I see is that there's more of a mix of colors on him compared to the cool, earth colors on the original sprite (see horns and eyes). I think the muscles are reasonable considering his arms are bent at a greater angle than the original sprite.

2015-11-22 04:06:53 +0000 UTCHuh, let's see... I think there are a lot of sharp lines around the face, that make him feel less... "soft." Carl is a little fluffy. I think this iteration of him makes him look much older (something in the face? Maybe his cheekbones/jawline/face-size?), and pretty top-heavy (much rounder than before). Maybe it's the perspective of him looking down that makes him look giant, whereas his usual stance is smaller and as slouched as possible. Oh, and I was thinking that he looks a little more like a bull than a ram. Sorry, I don't think I'm being helpful. Lol. I think I'm just tired and so used to old sprites.

2015-11-21 14:33:25 +0000 UTCAs Shulk would say " I'm really feeling it". I like the face for Carl on this a lot more compared to his old sprite. The only other major difference is he seems more stocky which isn't a bad thing.
