I second the vote for "Sherlock Holmes, and "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows." Very good though very unusual movies. I don't know how well known the Sherlock Holmes character is in Vietnam, but there have been many, many interpretations and variations in books, movies, and TV. As someone who has read the original stories, I think that these are one of the very best.

Snatch = Robbery, a theft. Guy Ritchie movies to watch = "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," "RocknRolla," "Sherlock Holmes," "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows," and "The Gentlemen."

i think that the show/movie quality doesn't matter. it's about the people who are reacting and how you react to that. i've watched this channel cover stuff i'dve never watched on my own as well as movies i've seen a dozen times. it's refreshing to have a new viewpoint on films i've already seen, and it's great to have an excuse to watch a genre i'd otherwise have no interest in viewing. i'm waiting for Troll (classic) and Troll 2 (documentary made about it being the worst movie ever). they'll both be fun to rewatch because we like the reactors(sp?).

Movies about a robbery (Heist) that meets different obstacles is actually a genre in itself, with quite some entertaining movies. Here are some recomandations :
- "The Usual Supects" (1995), very interesting ands suprising plot, a must see.
- "Heat" (1995), more actionpacked with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino
- "Reservoir Dogs" (1992), Tarantinos breakthoughfilm, pretty bloody...
- "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1998), similar to "Snatch" with same director and many of the same actors
-" Ocean's Eleven" (2001), George Clooney and Brad Pitt in a remake of a classic from the 60s
- "A fish named Wanda" (1988), more easygoing comedy than the others on the list with some of the members in Monty Python

I love this movie but not as much as I love the Movie Munchies! You all caught on to some of the things happening well before they happened and that is not easy to do in this film. This is my favorite Brad Pitt role.
I agree with others that Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is a great one too. Also check out the Sherlock Holmes movies when you can. The Guy Ritchie ones with Iron Man. 😉 The Gentlemen is also a great Ritchie film.
Thank you MM for another great reaction!

I'm just saying, True Romance. Locked Stocked will probably be recommended the most in the comments but True Romance. Written by Tarantino, has Brad Pitt, the Interviewer from Interview with a Vampire, Samuel L Jackson, Gordon from Nolans Batman movie, Doc Holiday/Val Kilmer from Tombstone, all in a fun romance with a wild ride that feels very attention grabbing like this one.

Snatch means to grab something away from someone else quickly, or it can mean to steal something.
It can also be a vulgar way to refer to female genitalia.

Snatch means to take or steal something also in America it used to refer to a Female body part.

Absolutely loved this! I hadn't seen this since I was definitely too young to understand it all but getting to grips with all the characters and their ups and downs along with the Munchies was so fun.
They did better than I ever did with the large cast, the overlapping and sometimes out of sync timelines, and of course the many different British accents, cultural quirks and the British Isles unique criminal underground.
Also hearing Hella do impressions of very strong British accents was so endearing.

Hella. - 1:06:05 - it was established earlier in the movie that Tommy’s gun is definitely a dud. Well done to Tommy for having the balls to front up knowing precisely that!
(Also, decent attempt at an English accent, Hella, at 1.21.35. Good effort!)

I love this channel because it's films I haven't seen in 13 years but loved when I was a teenager. And getting to rewatch it with a foreigner's perspective is always unique/fun.
Haven't watched the reaction yet but if you enjoyed this movie, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrells is the another film by Guy Ritchie that's worth checking out.

Just finished.
Thanks, Munchies! Entertaining reaction as per usual! 🙏🏻……. highly appreciate you throwing in a UK movie 🙂❤️
Haven’t seen that in a while and it’s better than I remembered (I forgot Goldie had a cameo, I forgot Lennie James was in it, and then there’s Stephen Graham - the finest English actor of a generation!)
You should also have a look at ‘RocknRolla’ (same sort of Guy Richie cartoon) 🙂
And a footnote for the absolute cockney legend, Alan Ford 👊🏻…….
