What you ladies may have missed is that Maester Aemon of the Night's Watch is essentially Daenerys Targaryen's uncle. I would have found it so interesting if he and Daenerys had met. What a great teacher he could have been for her. Awesome reaction, ladies, as always!๐

2025-03-23 13:29:14 +0000 UTCYgritte's death never really bothered me. Yes, it was sad for Jon. Olly was totally justified in killing her. Never understood the Olly hate. The kid had his entire family murdered by Wildings, one of which supposedly eats his parents. That kind of trauma for an 11-year-old child justifies all his anger in the later seasons, in my opinion. Apparently in the actor in real life was receiving a ton of malicious messages and abuse. Typical twitter degenerates. Also, side note: the long shot at 40:56 is brilliant

2025-03-21 03:25:40 +0000 UTCYou are mixing up Tormund (the big bearded guy) with Mance Rayder. Mance is the leader and he is still with his army north of the wall. Tormund Giantsbane was just the (sort of) leader of the small raiding party (working with the cannibal thenns) that attacked the wall from the other side and got captured. (sidenote, the actor is norwegian like me, so I always rooted for him a little bit because of that) Also, while it was sad when Ygritte died because of Jon's feelings for her, it's important to remember that Ygritte killed Ollys parents in front of him during the raid on his village in an earlier episode. He had a very good reason for killing her, not to mention that she probably killed dozens of night's watch with her bow just on that night.
