I did have a job a couple of years ago working with a lot of Serbians and - pound for pound - they are a lot more βgunnyβ than you!
That said, youβre all (in the States) still completely insane! π
There was an Eddie Izzard show he did in San Francisco (not βproper mad Americaβ, admittedly) where he said we all look at you from Europe and think βwhat on Earth are you doing??β, and not much has changed!
And with that - yes, the Munchies should watch βThe Rockβ (not the wrestler, the movie ππ»)

When the tv show came out I remember not expecting anything more than a few episodes getting made, but it turned out to be a better show for a couple seasons than it probably had any right to be... though I never did watch it through to series completion.

I haven't seen the movie in ages. It's still a fun watch and the practical special effects still hold up well.
After that reaction, they should change the name from Tremors to Tomato Can Tuna.π
I think there are several sequels, but as is always the case with such movies, the quality varies greatly.
That was a great reaction, ladies.π

34. Its a cult classic. Lol you know her? No, You know him? No, I just like the name bacon. The jump scare was funny with the generator scene. This movie had a movie budget of 6 millions and brought in 16 million. Have you watched any of the Conjurings? Might I suggest them. Good reaction, on to the next.

Here's a great send-off article on Fred Ward published shortly after his passing a couple years back:
"He Made Everything Better"
https://www.rogerebert.com/tributes/he-made-everything-better-fred-ward-1942-2022
There's only been a few acting celebrities who seemed to have deeply known life outside of Hollywood and that got me a bit choked up at their passing, and Fred Ward is one.
Ward's life before acting success reminds me somewhat of Louis L'Amour's disparate career path before his success as an author... and such a body of work is almost guaranteed to be drawn upon when character acting or writing.

Ooh, Graboids vs Munchies!
The ladies can already count themselves as virtually among the Seven Degrees (oops, eh... rather "Six Degrees") of Kevin Bacon with having watched Apollo 13... but this is now their introduction to one of my favorite actors, Fred Ward.
This Fred Ward favorite, along with Timerider, Remo Williams, and Thunderheart are films I usually watch at least once a year.

A Munchies trade secret... and they do occasionally poll the viewers here as well as give some bit of weight to repeated movie mentions.

They know of it (by name at least), as many of us here have mentioned it several times over the last year or so... and they'll eventually get around to it (hopefully with a full couch of Munchies).

I love this movie. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is just a fun monster movie. I really like that this movie has a touch of romance, but is mostly about two friends, Earl and Valentine. It's also a nice touch that Valentine's belt buckle is a heart.
Val calls Melvin a Pizza-Face. This is an insult that means you have bad skin, or acne, literally, your face looks like a pizza.
The Seismologist/Rhonda meets Val with a white covering on her nose. It's zinc which will prevent sunburn.
The word Magazine can be used for a collection of bullets, or a collection of articles like in a periodical. English is just a collection of stolen words and the original word meant "storehouse".
Val and Earl refer to the bulldozer as a "The Cat". This is because most of these machines are made by a company called Caterpillar in the US.
Burt and Heather are what we'd refer to as survivalist, or maybe the more derogatory, "Gun Nut", people who have a collection of weapons, food, water, fuel for when civilization collapses. They might also be called "preppers" as in they are prepared.
Walter Chang by Chinese-American actor Victor Wong. He's also in two of my favorite John Carpenter films: Prince of Darkness and Big Trouble in Little China.

Wonderful choice ladies!!! One of my favorite movies of all time, and one of the most well written scripts in terms of pacing, payoffs, dialogue, and the use of sound to build tension (like when the boys are walking around the house under construction making noise left & right, none the wiser). Fantastic film.

Such a good movie. Will you guys continue the series and watch the other movies? They tend to get more ridiculous as you go but they're still pretty funny and entertaining if you embrace the ridiculous.

Hi munchies. Thank you for your work, I really enjoy watching your reaction.
I'd be curious to watch you enjoy more movies that aren't americans, like La Vita E Bella.
I can recommend you movies like Pan's Labyrinth, RRR, Parasite, the Chaser, Kung Fu Hustle, City of God, Attack the Block, A Very Long Engagement, la Haine...
