The Joker has different memories of how he got the cuts to his mouth. He is crazy and he believes all the stories he tells, as he is telling them, From the comics.

Two face and the joker are original vilan, from the original comic book.
Heath ledger was the joker.
Sadley his last performance before we lost him.
This movie is a masterpiece.
Heath ledger's performance as joker possibly one the greatest ever.
If you look into heath ledger's work and this performance you will find it worth while.
Some of his best roles.

Two Face is a villain in the Batman comics. How he became a villain in the comics is different. The movie just has a different twist on it. I didn't read the comics, but looked up a little bit about him.

I love finding flaws in the editing of movies. When Bruce comes to meet Dent and gives a short speech at the party, he goes outside and pours out his wine glass over the edge of the building. Rachel comes out to talk to him and then Dent comes out to take Rachel away. Bruce turns around as they leave with the wine glass in his hand with wine in it. lol. Fun movie.

You missed some points in the beginning. The manager of the bank was a bad guy (he said that it was a mob bank). And Harvey wasn't calling Batman scum. He was calling the guys that Batman fights scum.

Good job to Hella for holding it together. I feel like Chi might also relate to Joker, as I did at the time. She gives me 'agent of chaos' vibes sometimes. >:D
This is still a contender for my favourite movie of all time. There are aspects of how the Joker was portrayed that I relate to on a personal level, so it can be an emotional roller coaster for me.
I remember this movie came out when I was in college, and a classmate made this movie the subject of his project for our Leadership class. The problem was his report was regarding Batman as the leader. Everyone in the class scolded the classmate for not choosing the Joker as the better leader.

Certainly the bank robbery opening scene has echoes of Heat. I don’t remember Commissioner Gordon shouting “she’s got a GREAT ass!!!” in this movie, though.
Perhaps I need to watch it again!

Excellent movie!
I watched an interview with Christian Bale (talking about his scenes with Heath Ledger). Says he went to Christopher Nolan and told him ‘this guy’s performance is going to knock me out of the park!!’ 😂
Also, why wasn’t Alfred bringing Mr Batman any throat lozenges with his breakfast? That’s a hell of a sore throat Mr Batman’s got.

"You know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I told the press that, like, a gang-banger would get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics. Because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everybody loses their minds!" ~ Joker

a "hero" gets recognition, praise, adoration and love from other people. Batman does what's right but he doesn't get any reward, he is labeled a criminal. he is not a hero (white knight), but a dark knight

This is definitely one of the better super hero movies. I think other notable super hero movies are the first IRON MAN film, the first HELLBOY movie, CAPTAIN AMERICA-Winter Soldier, and I enjoyed AVENGERS: ENDGAME. The problem with Endgame is you have to watch the many Marvel movies that come before it to understand what the hell is going on.

And Christian Bale (AKA Batman) is also in The Prestige. It's a really good film. I've always liked Christian Bale as an actor. Just before he did Nolan's Batman films, he did The Machinist and starved himself almost to a skeleton for that role, and then put on all the muscle to play Batman, and he was also amazing in American Psycho.

The Dark Knight is such a great film, especially because of Heath Ledger's legendary performance as the Joker. This performance would be Heath's next-to-last, as he sadly passed away about 6 months before the movie was released. He was a truly gifted actor.

I knew this reaction would be awesome, you ladies are just great!💜
Lucius Fox did not resign. He told Bruce that as long as the machine existed he would not work for him. When he typed in his name, the machine destroyed itself, which is why he smiled at the end.
Headge Ledger simply nailed the role of the Joker. In my opinion he is the best embodiment of the Joker.
A great talent who left us far too soon RIP.
A recommendation for Halloween.
The Joker is not the reason why people are so afraid of clowns.
I think that might have more to do with Steven King's IT. There are two very good movie adaptations of IT, both are two-parters.
The 1990 version and a 2017 version. Both are very good, but I would tend to go for the 2017 version.
I think that would be a good choice for a reaction in October.
