Workout Buddy content

So, here's the thing. I stopped my regular workouts a little while ago & as a result have ended up in a fair amount of pain. So for now, my workouts consist of PT for my leg M, W, & F, with cardio on T & Th. While doing cardio, I'll be able to interact because I'll have my phone mounted in front of me. But when I do my PT, and when I'm eventually out of pain & back to lifting, I pretty much won't interact with my phone except to maybe move it. Is this content anyone would be interested in seeing?

Sarah) there were. All those videos have been lost because YouTube deleted my channel. Currently, workouts are live only & on discord with no playback. I'm trying to figure out a way to change that that street require a ton of setup very early in the morning when I typically workout

(Sarah) my perception of myself and what others appear to think of me is.... Let's say vastly different. It would never in a million years have occurred to me that people might be interested in watching me workout, especially if I'm literally *just* working out.

(Sarah) Don't get me wrong, I like to wear what I consider cute because it's a little bit motivating, but it's really more about functionality

(Sarah) Yeah, I'm not about that either. This is me trying to get OUT of pain, but just doing it with an audience since now I kind of seem to have one, which is fucking wild to me lol

(Sarah) Unfortunately, it will probably be even earlier. As a general rule, I wake up around 515 EST and get downstairs to my gym around 530. Post stretching, I usually start my actual workout (cardio or PT at this point) around 6... Unless it's a day I need to workout in the afternoon due to being at work in the morning, which will then be around 3 or 4, depending on the kind of day I've had.

Dope. I just don’t love the idea of someone potentially hurting themselves for content. If it’s all about improving health (and giving people insight into how rad PT is) I’m on board.

By morning you don't mean as early as the wake up lives, do you? That's usually when I start to wake up on the morning shift days, and whilst I appreciate early morning Maggie, I can barely be motivated to open my eyes that early, much less be active, lqtm🫠

(Sarah) I can totally appreciate that, but mine is more a matter of maintenance. I had a total hip replacement 2 years ago and subsequently developed long piriformis syndrome. Because I fucked off about working out for close to a month (including PT) everything hurts again, muscles are tight, moving sucks. PT right now is about getting back to my baseline & then maintaining it while I try to build strength.

Good for you, I spent many years working out and those who worried if their pink tights matched the rest of their outfits never seemed to be the ones there to do the hard work necessary to achieve their goals. At this stage of my life; you workout, I'll watch

I don’t know how I’d feel about watching someone being pushed to their limits in order to get through the physical therapy. PT is absolutely essential, but from everyone I know who practices PT, that is basically people at their most vulnerable.

Yes, that was a bit of my thought process. I *generally* work out in the morning, but I have a 2-week rotating schedule and one week I go to work in the morning then workout in the afternoon. Right now my workouts are relatively short because I'm trying to PT myself down to a 2 or 3 on the pain scale before I start back on weights, but once that happens, workouts will be....an hour, hour & a halfish....depends on how motivated or lazy I'm feeling that day lol

I take my workouts pretty seriously, so I'm pretty much only going to wear items that facilitate me being able to do them.

Hopefully this will work as body doubling for me, working out sucks, but doing sucky things together should make them suck less😸
