2024-09-09 22:34:22 +0000 UTCOkay - 4 suggestions, and I'll get it if you guys don't read them :) Straight SciFi: the Honor Harrington series (David Weber) Alternate History/ time travel...163x series (first book is 1632) Mostly Eric Flint but is an open universe, so. Urban Fantasy - Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series (2 interconnected) by Patricia Briggs Last is technically fan fic, and it STARTS with teens - because it's a total rewrite/ reimagining of Twilight that changes one thing - it gives Bella a *brain*. It changes SO MUCH! and the only teen main character is Bella, who, well. We know the eventual she becomes a vampire, so. It's called "Luminosity" (look for "Luminosity by Alicorn". The first book is also on A03, if you prefer that format) I actually recommend the Luminosity series to EVERYONE, I wish it were the "real" series, it is AMAZING... I hope you both find something you enjoy in my 4 favorite book series :)

It might take a while for us to get to it if we haven't already read it, since we'll have to do at least a little bit of research, but as long as people keep watching, we'll probably keep making it. We'll get to most of them, eventually.

I honestly can't think of any non- marvel franchise (counting the MCU as a giant franchise) where I'm interested in characters in the fuck/ marry/ kill sense, where it's more than 1 or 2 characters (eureka - 2 characters; chronicles of Riddick - 2 characters; angel the series I guess 3 characters? Buffy, LATER SEASONS, 2 characters with a really really maybe 3rd...) Now granted, I'm sticking with movies/TV shows, because there are too many book series I read where others are like "what is that?" If you read the Honor Harrington series, or the 163x series, or either half of the Patricia Briggs Mercy- works... can I answer some QUESTIONS! But I don't wish to assume when it comes to print :)
